I actually thought the article was funny. SuerJerk's problem is that, even when he's actually right, he finds the most obnoxious way possible to make his point, thus negating whatever persuasive impact his argument might have had with a layer of abbrasiveness.

Of course the adminstration would have gone into Iraq even if they'd known there were no WMDs, because that was not the main reason we went over there. We could've taken out Iraq's alledged WMD capabilities without a full-blown invasion. The main reason we went over there was to create a friendly puppet state we could use to intimidate the rest of the region.

So, yeah, back to talking about 9/11 itself...

On 9/10/01 my mom called and told me my dad's sister had died, and the funeral would be Friday. I got off the phone and thought, "Boy, this is sure gonna be a shitty week." I had no idea.
