Confirmation that the Spike deal is 52 weeks, not the 13 weeks as has been rumored by others.Good to know.

Hey some GOOD news! Not that it'll sway gas prices but hey, any little bit helps after Katrina. Even better that it comes from a country that OWES us.That's putting it mildly. Funny how the Islamic extremists seem to forget we came to the aid of two Islamic countries (Kuwait and Saudi Arabia), and were willing to leave Iraq's government in place after the first Gulf War. Do we ever get credit for that? No.

I wouldn't mind seeing some classic Avengers villains in The Ultimates. We'll probably see Ultron debut in the near future (his creation was hinted at).Since Pym was already seen trying to use the invention of Ultron and the Vision ("Wanda, were you flirting with that robot?") to get himself back into the Ultimates, so technically he already debuted.

West Coast AVengers was one of my favorite books for the first 70 or so issues. John Byrne's run in particular was excellent.

I'd rather see a more realistic style on this book, given the book's serious tone. It would be like having Jim Lee do the artwork for "Maus". The style contradicts what the book is supposed to be.

There's a lot of government stuff that should be shitcanned, but do you know how hard it is to do? As a libertarian, I've been thinking "we can trim the fat" for a while now, but it's so hard to trim that fat.I believe you are correct, the budget can be balanced by trimming "the fat," but the problem is getting everyone to agree on what constitutes "the fat."

I beleive it was Scalia's notoriously undiplomatic personality that kept him from being nominated for Chief Justice. I would have liked to see Clarence Thomas nominated, but unfortunately I suspect the memory of his 1991 Senate hearings and the resulting circus are still fresh in people's minds 14 years later.

Am I the only person who thinks Ashley just isn't that attractive. I believe most people liked her during the Diva Search simply because she expressed a desire to wrestle. If that's the criteria we are going by, then wouldn't have made more sense just to rehire Gail Kim (who can not only already wrestle, but is more attractive)?
I'm just stating the obvious, aren't I?

Will the second issue include a 6 page POV narrative of Vickie Vale doing her hair? If so, I cannot wait.

What is Joe Maderuera known for?

There are still people who do not own DVD players?
Do these people lack indoor plumbing as well?

I've been saying since the beginning that they should have Spectre on the show. And they don't need Parallax for Spectre, Parallax became Spectre II
Absolutely, considering Hal Jordan never became a GL in the JLU continuity.

You know, there really are some nice, roomy cars out there that get 30+ miles to the gallon.

Mike, a 4 bedroom house in the Bay Area is going for at least $600,000 or more, and that's in a bad neighboorhood like West Oakland.I wonder what the rental property goes for if it is still considered a bad neighborhood.

Bret can afford to hate HBK and HHH because HBK and HHH aren't the ones who are going to be signing his DVD royalty checks.

(Sorry, I had to.)

You know why Wedding Crashers is succeeding so well? Parents LOVE it. My parents, and all the parents I know have gone to see it and have told others who have gone to see it. It's connecting with all audiences - not just the typical Vaughn/Wilson crowd.I wonder if that's because of the tittie montage at the beginning, the handjob at the dinner table, or the bondage/rape scene?

You need a DVD player in the worst way.

I hate to say it, but this is too far-fetched of a premise even for a hypothetical question. It assumes both men are equal enough in talent so they could be switched. There's a good reason why the Rock is in Hollywood making movies right now, and Triple H is still wrestling. It would be like asking what if LaToya Jackson had become a multi-platinum recording artist instead of Michael Jackson. There is simply no way that could have ever happened.

Are you talking about the chicken fries commerical?
I can't admit to having actually watched it, as I am usually too busy trying to find the remote control so I can hit the "mute" button.

Although I have no doubt "Antz" was a hit film, I cannot name one person I know who has seen it. Like "National Treasure", it is the hit movie no one wants to admit they saw.

I can't help but wonder how they'll get around the touchy subject of what actually happened in that alley during the "Angel" conclusion. I suspect we'll just pick up with Spike several years later, and have him allude to them making it out. I suppose they could also just show what happened, but then they'd need to get the other cast members back for the scene, at which point they risk turning it into an "Angel" reunion movie. Part of me also does not WANT to know what happened to the other characters, since chances are that some died.

-HBK was last seen getting the best of Hogan on Raw, which in WWE logic means Hogan will win;I wonder what the statistic is on that... the person that gets the best of their opponent going into a PPV losing.
By my estimation it has to be at least 80%. I've won a few prediction contests on other boards based almost purely on this inverse winning rule.

For an organization that exists to make money, the WWE sure does hate making money. That certainly seems to be the case.

Not as interesting as tennis, in my opinion.
