A large number of PPV would work with the right creative team, just as a small number of PPV would fail with the wrong creative team.

Wow, if those segments are drawing "very well" and SmackDown's ratings are still dipping below 3.0, imagine how badly Batista & Bradshaw's segments are doing?Being the best rated segment on Smackdown these days is the equivalent of being the tallest person in a room full of midgets.

I have a friend that saw an advanced screening of 40 Year Old Virgin. He said it's one of the funniest movies he's seen this year....then again he hasn't seen Wedding Crashers yet. Please ask him to provide a list of all the movies he has seen this year so we will have an accurate point of comparison.

And I love how that conspiracy theory (man never walking on the moon) was shot to all hell by anybody that knows anything about space travel.Relax, man. I think he was being sarcastic by calling it his favorite.
Indeed, I was.

I have absolutely no problem with them aborting the Kane/Edge feud.

Why didn't Matt mention he got fired?I think Vince alluded to it when he was introducing him.

Does anybody think the resistance to Christian (a heel) getting into the main event has anything to do with 4 out of 4 of the most politically powerful guys on the roster are now heels? HHH, JBL, Angle, and HBK (technically a heel) are probably the four guys with the most backstage pull. I'm not usually into conspiracy theories, but this coincidence is a little too striking to ignore.

It seems like whenever someone gets themselves over, the creative team responds by either burying them or giving them nothing to do. For all the talk of "stepping up" and "working hard", the company only seems to reward people they've (often incorrectly) pre-determined will get over no matter what. This has been a universal truth since VKM bought the company. The only top guy that I can think of that got over by himself was Steve Austin. I could be persuaded to add Foley, but that's it.
I think you are right. I was just remembering how Cena was made a jobber for most of 2003 after his rapper gimmick took off. You might be able to argue that Rock got himself over, but he had been pushed to the moon before his gimmick change. I think Mankind got a good push at first, since he was in a high profile feud with Undertaker right from the start.

So rather than just grooming another heel for the main event, they decide to drag out a feud nobody cares about? There's last minute, then there's last minute and lazy. I can't beleive this company sometimes. There are people who are paid to do nothing but come up with storylines, and they can't even do that given several days to work with? These people are idiots.

Chris Benoit and Christian are my 2 favorites, but I'm through with Smackdown. I won't sit and watch while they're buried.

If sales of this game don't soar, I'll be shocked. I don't feel sorry for Rock Star games at all. Everyone's going to try to get a copy of this now. This is one case where bad publicity works to the manufacturer's favor.
Look at how much retailers are charging now:

They outta just get rid of the Great American Bash as a PPV. It seems like when they take the WCW PPV name they try and actually BOOK the show like WCW. -
Saffron's jugs are a marvel to look at.Apparently the producers agreed. The show only lasted half a season, and they brought her on the show for 2 separate episodes? Someone was in love with her. (Can't blame them.)

Good job, RavishingRickRudo.

Its really sad when some of my favourite posters such as Black Luschus, Porter, Bob Barron and Y2Jerk cant get along.Proving once again that WWE programming makes people more aggressive.

So does everyone think they'll do JBL/Undertaker/Batista at Summerslam, or are we supposed to forget that the Undertaker/Hassan match was for the #1 contendership?

I remember how pissed I was at the ending of Unforgiven 2002. This is worse. Hey, McMahon, some people actually paid money for this crap.

You got me, CBright7831.

Wasn't there a Jaws directors cut that people thought was worse than the original?

Her bra looks a size too big.

I started a new job about 3 weeks ago but me and my friends are planning a camping trip upstate from next Sunday to Monday. Monday I have work and my co-worker informed me that I can't call in sick until I've worked there at least three months. My friend suggests that I tell them I have a funeral to go to but I don't know if that will work considering I don't like lying about things like thatand I'm afraid I'll get caught inside the lie.So what do you think I should do? I really wanna go on this trip considering ALL my friends will be there and this could be the best thing to happen all summer.
I do not think they could legally prevent you from calling in sick.

I think the woman who played Amy was one of the writers from Carrell's show, "The Office".
