The world title match should RARELY end up not going last (see the last PPV for an example of how bad that can be) even with a short build like this one had But then again being the last match and being the "Main event" of a show doesn't always mean the same thing - the big story, the "main event" if you weeeeeeeeeeeeel of this PPV is IMO definitly the Wildcards/Hooligans match 1) Zack returns 2) Wildcards first loss in the OAOAST 3) Hooligans are turned face in the process 4) Big ol' can of gasoline thrown onto the OAOAST Vs Wildcards angle

Alright let’s strap on the feed-bag for the 5th Annual Great Angle Slam (how few e-feds actually manage to last that long?) First and foremost – that has to be one of the best logos I’ve seen, not just OAOAST or wrestling related logos but in general that is quality work right there. Wright / Bohemoth time: Nice way to quickly get people up to date on the feud for those who may not have been around when Wright lost the HIYA title to Malibu (I always appreciate a history lesson). Coming from the SWF where 75% of the people are cruiserweights and very few people actually write Bruce Blank as the power monster I envisioned him I’m totally digging the depiction of Bohemoth in the match. Well what there was of the match, It had promise – a promise it’ll have to keep down the road. Usually the cheapo DQs should be saved for TV shows and all, but I for once I didn’t mind, the physical part of their feud is just starting out (with the break up and all) this way they make us wait a bit for the BIG showdown, makes it more important because we’ve waited for it. And it gives Bo an opening to go Monster on the South Central Militia Excellent hype for when the two actually DO have a match - Beverly Hills Blondes Promo: the Blondes Vs D*LUX – soon Short but effective and a mention of the 30 day rule? Now that’s old school cool. - In the wonderful world of e-fedding women actually can get in there and hang with men and not just be bimbos – makes for a nice change. The story of Rodz being a gentlemen and not just about to let loose on Crystal is sold really well early on, I dunno if it carries on for too long – she’s a former world champion and all, she’s no stranger to fighting men and all and does get in more than a few shots on him. Maybe Leon just can’t take a hint or maybe he secretly likes to be beaten up by the women he loves. . . well there is a disturbing connotation I didn’t need Or is he really afraid of Gunner? Does Leon Fear Gunner? Does Joanie Love Chachi? Points to ponder Leon takes the win after being beaten up through most of the match after being stuck in a banana hammock? ?? - Backstage mayhem!! Gibraltar proves that he moves more than the famous “rock of” and attacks Columbian Heat backstage, violence~! And in conclusion – HEAT IS DEAD!! GIBRALTAR AM MONSTER!! - Tag-Team Title goodness: Nice use of GAB history, painting the Heavenly Rockers as the underdogs even though they’re the champions and all going in, little touches like that is what I enjoy about this game. I really enjoyed the selling of Synth’s injury, it helped make this more than just your standard tag-team match, giving it the feeling that Team Heyross could win at any time – which makes the Rockers retaining that much sweeter and much more satisfying a result. Really enjoyed the story being told in the match. - Peter Knight SWF Bound?? (BOOOO – erm I mean YEAH!! Forgot I was supposed to be an SWF loyalist) Effective way of putting Knight back in the mix of it, showing his resilience from bouncing back after the injury and then a nice “Up yours SWF” that’s a sure fire way to gain approval in the OAOAST. And he has BattleBowl aspirations. . . Interesting even if I personally think he won’t win it (Alfdogg needs a new challenger) - AH yes leather straps, blood and carnage, now I feel at home here I’m not going to comment too much on this match, I wrote up till just past where Jamie O’Hara was eliminated and then handed it off. But I agree with the assessment that Static is the Shawn Michaels of the team – that’s how I’ve been writing him and why I picked him to be the last guy on the Hooligan team. I think it’s safe to say that the Hooligans have won the fan approval I wonder what that does to the Upstarts Vs Originals feud (which was what originally drew the Wildcards in) And ZACK IS BACK!! Which seems to amuse Bruce. . . why does it amuse Bruce? Maybe he’ll tell us all on Thursday - Tha Main Event! In a 2 out of 3 falls Alfdog wins technically 3 falls to 2. . . yeah ponder that one It was a good match, solid action – To me just a tad less emotion than some of the other matches on the card, could be because this had a 2 week build and in the back of my mind I kept thinking “We’ll see at least one more match between these two” A title change here would have surprised the hell out of me (in the Orton beats Benoit bad kinda way) but now Reject has been established as being able to hang in there with Alfdogg and push him to the limits and beyond. The rematch between these two is a lot harder to predict the outcome off – which is good And it was a wrestling match – a good way to follow a brutal match like the 6 man tag, mix it up OAOAST style!!

Okay. . . confidence inspiring for those three ain't it? Diamond or Skipper could work well in the new ECW, I doubt they'd turn it down out of loyalty after that message. And it is a shame, it makes the undercard even more generic than it already is.
