Couple of things: -Cellphones in school are annoying if not for the fact that no one seems to be capable of putting them on either silent or vibrate. Everyone in high school wants everyone else to know they've got the new cellphone with the new ring tone. Not only that, but they're incredibly obnoxious about it. It's not discrete, it's not hidden, they're walking around with it clipped on their belts, talking loudly, putting their ring as loud as possible, and texting like you can't tell they're looking two inches to the left and down at the floor to what appears to be an invisible object that they're reading. Furthermore, it's a HUGE distraction because people pressing their god damn buttons and genuinly fucking my ability to learn because they can't wait to talk to their boyfriend or girlfriend in 2 hours at lunch. It's not that I hate them or can't stand them, because they're usefull in the right place, but giving a teen a cellphone is giving them access to instant messaging and the internet while in class. Now, if you've got a free period or lunch and no one is being bothered by what you're doing, sure, knock yourself out, but if the cellphone is there during class it's a distraction. -As far as iPod's and CD players go, that's a bit less obnoxious if not for the fact that it actually HELPS inclass work. Having ADD myself, I know, because there are times when it's beyond distracting and I can't do inclass work, so I put on music and the problem of teachers helping students or people talking to each other is gone. However, if people are listening to their music really loud while the teacher is teaching, I understand the distraction. But that's very obvious and no one is that stupid. That doesn't stand. It's a much different situation than cellphones. It's not even close to being the same issue. Anyways, I fully agree with the cellphone ban because students are like kids, you can give them a toy and tell them not to play with it, but they'll still play with it when you're not looking, and no teacher can individually watch each student to that degree. It's the newest way kids cheat, if you're testing and it goes off than you automatically fail (at least in my school), and it's just a problem that's far less contained than it should be. If the ban is loosely implimented, as I'm sure it will be, then it'll let kids know that you can't do it now but in the right instances that it's okay. It takes the cellphones from the ignorant and stupid kids but I doubt they'll strip it from the kid with no money in need of calling home to get a ride.

The media is horribly irresponcible with this bull shit. "IT MIGHT HAVE SPREAD FROM HUMAN TO HUMAN, LET'S WARN THE WORLD!" No...NO. That's fucking bull shit. Get your information together and then show me that it trully is a human-to-human case, then I'll care.

Well, I'm going to lay out a challenge. After Thirteenth Hour I want at both JJ and Spike.

It very much so depends on the way you write it. For a PPV match, entrances might be extravigant and there might be some build up with anouncers or video packages. That can EASILY consume 1k, if not more. If you're writing a fast-paced match, 6 to 7k should be 20 to 30 minutes. The TLC match I wrote was in the 7k range and I always viewed it as being most likely a solid 25 minute spot fest.

It may be serious business, but it's all very awkward when 3 or 4 people know each other and then air their dirty laundry over the forum that I post on. It's all fine and dandy until I stumble into this and it all becomes very, very awkward. That's my take on it.

Would've put something more productive together if it weren't for two unfinished projects and two tests. Sorry. School sucks right before spring break because they want to fuck us over as much as possible. I'll be off for a few days and hope to make some sort of come back effort after 2 no shows and one rushed 3 line match. I'll have comments tuesday when I get back from PA, though I'm sure they'll be obsolete. Spring Break should be catch up, I haven't been able to read a show since AfterShoXXXXXxxXXx

Yeah, what's with the date thing. Seems sort of rushed that we've had 3 shows under a week with two being within 2 days of each other and then again 2 days after.

What if Axis was like Cotton McKnight's play-by-play partner from Dodgeball, the guy from Arrested Development? You know, somewhat of a poser, comedic, but is still capable of making logical and technical comments that help advance a match?
