You know, there are big stars who go entire calendar years without winning the world title? Kurt Angle didn't win the belt for all of 2004 and 2005. Undertaker hasn't been champion since 2002. You can be a top star without being champion all the fucking time. Regardless, the fact that he's getting another reign doesn't bother me nearly as much as that he's getting another fucking title match at Wrestlemania. Five in a row. (Really 6 in 7 years, but that's not the point) No one in the history of this company has done five Mania title matches in a row. Steve Austin didn't. Rock didn't. Hulk Hogan, in the height of fucking Hulkamania didn't. He never did more than three. Because it's boring. It's boring to see the same man fighting for the world title at the biggest show of the year EVERY YEAR. You need to mix it up a little occasionally. Try telling that to the man who has his wrestling logo engraved in his tour bus.

So if Cena is Steph's creation, and HHH can't even garner him a babyface reaction, that would make for some interesting pillow talk . . .

Last was a good RAW for the matches. But I think in the end, the main even proved that Paul, Vince and Steph will rule with iron fist until the WWE goes out of business. They are NOT in it for the money, so they pretty much do what they want. RVD will be buried until he doesn't sign a contract renewal. I just wish he would consider going to TNA if for nothing else but to get a world title reign.

And you guys thought they were protecting RVD. Read my post from the first page. I called it. RVD is the WWE's spot monkey, with a ladder match at MITB II, he will showcase that is the only reason Vince keeps him around.

I've said this before and I'll say it again here. When HHH whips out the sledgehammer to beat the crap out of Cena (and you know somewhere during their feud, he will), the crowd will absolutely LOVE HHH for it. He will be the face going into wrestlemania, and Cena will be the heel. There is NO getting around it. Just look at last night. Their feud is already tanking. Cena's starting to get booed again. After all HHH has done, the fans will not buy Cena overcoming the odds to beat the monster HHH.

Show takes the Shotgun Blast to the Face (maybe from now on we can nickname the pedigree SBF?) and the 30 count -- I mean three count. If they didn't care about RVD, It would be straight one on one. Although, maybe they're protecting Big Show. Did anyone think of that? Think about it, HHH is going over. HHH is feuding with Show. They've already built up Show as an unstopable monster. Even though it's HHH, having him lose one on one makes him look a lttle bit weak. And when the fans crap all over the Cena/HHH feud, HHH has another feud lined up. I don't know, I just can't imaginge why on earth they would be protecting RVD at all. Even for an IC run, I don't see them protecting anyone who isn't a product of the WWE/OVW or a hoss.

Some comments: That rear naked choke attempt by Daniels was horrible looking. Now Christian looks to be playing the "Hey look WWE, TNA is better than you" role, nothing more. Why is Zybisco happy with Joe? Why would management be happy with a guy who breaks all of the "established" rules and wants to end careers? Yeah, I get it if Z plays a heel, and Joe's a heel, but now there's heat between two heels? Huh?Joe doesn't want to be in a UX match, typical heel response. Z, a heel, wants him to be in it?

Honestly, do you think they'd punish Jarrett. If you think so I got a set of bridges in Brooklyn and San Francisco to sell you. They'll have an easier time "setting an example" with guys that are at best midcarders. They can't punish Joe, Jarrett or Styles the same way.

If they are trying to set an example, all I have to say is good thing it wasn't Joe, Styles or Jarrett. Let's face it. They're not main eventers so the punishment CAN be that harsh. No way any of the afore mentioned guys miss TV time if they thought about missing a show or even missed a show. It's all politics.

This may be redundant, but with the way WWE storylines have gone and how predictable they've gotten, if they cut out the semifinal matches and had RAW this thursday go straight to HHH v. RVD, I don't think anyone would miss a beat. All last week, I kept thinking about how badly HHH is going to bury RVD, and how badly the crowd is going to crap all over it, I forgot there were still semis to this mess.

Until business starts to tank and these paying customers stop paying for ppv's, merchandise, and the like, WWE will continue doing whatever the fuck they want.
