That salary is decent for the area and for your degree. Plus there are lots of benifits to working for big pharma. However, like I said the job security isn't great.
-
Yeah, they've cut most of their chemical development department. A LOT of guys that used to work at that site are working at my company. What's your degree?
-
Keep in mind that the cost of living in Syracuse is a hell of a lot cheaper than other places in the US. I'd watch out with that BMS site. They've been cutting jobs and departments for a while. What's your field?

Were those Vegas odds?

At least he's taking the initiative and starting threads and you know, discussion. Before, "CWDWAT" was the first post in any thread in the folder.

It would've been nice for them to play up this "mystery woman." If I hadn't read the spoilers, I would've thought it was some random diva already on the roster who looks like every other diva. I'm still not sure if that really was Remember when "fans" coming to the ring and attacking someone on the roster meant something?

This is the thread where we discuss animals fighting

This questions really only applies to Apes and the like, but are weapons legal? -
So with every little bit of news, there will be a new thread? At least now the CWDWAT trolls (as some call them) will go away.

Okay, this eulogy thing that heels do as a promo is getting really old. Didn't Mark Henry do the same exact thing before their big ppv match? Is it just me, or does any one else get a little scared when they encorporate water in matches? It seems to me that if someone is setting up for a move and happens to step in a particularly wet part of the ring, that could result in some serious injuries.

Yeah, I guess I just repeated what the other guys said. Make sure you ask which appliances are staying and which are going. Sometimes you can negotiate.

Unfortunately, that's not the case in Canada. Really? Wow. That's the one big reason to buy a house. I just bought a house, but my advice comes from the US, so it may not translate well. That said, here's a good mortgage calculator: http://www.realestateshows.com/show/mortga...hp?price=165000. Also, with buying a house, there's monthly taxes and homeowner's insurance that will increase your payments. Not to mention appliances, furniture, landscaping, paint, decorations, closing costs, water, gas AND electric bills, home inspection costs and regular repairs as you live in the house. Shop for mortgages. Just because the interest rate is pretty much a national thing, different banks will offer different rates. Also, pay attention to closing costs (break all the costs down: lawyer's fees, title fees, etc). On these two points, banks will differ. Get a real estate agent. Don't get one that you like personally. You could hate them and never want to talk to them outside of house-hunting, but if they'll be honest with you and pick out houses that you think you'll like, then that's a good one. If you're afraid they will point you to houses that their agency is selling, they won't. They get their commission no matter what. You never pay for a real estate agent. They get a commission from the house you buy, but it does not come from you. See if the bank's lawyer will represent you for free or for a reduced cost. This way you can sue the previous owner if they refuse to fix things found in the home inspection. See if Canada has a first time home-buyer's credit. They have programs like that in the US depending on income. You could get a credit that could buy you points which lower your interest rate. Don't buy points unless you plan to live in the house for a extended period of time. Points are something you buy from the bank to lower your interest rate. Say you buy $4000 worth of points. It lowers your monthly payment and after a while (anywhere from 5 to 20 years) you earn your initial point purchase back and can start making a "profit." We bought points on our mortgage and in 4.5 years, we will have made that money back. In the US, if you put less than 20% down, you will have to pay PMI (private mortgage insurance), which increases your monthly payment. Don't ask me why. Some banks in the US will give you a better interest rate if your payment plan is biweekly. Though the faster you pay off the loan the less interest you will have to pay no matter how you structure your mortgage. If you're buying a house with the intention to raise a family, look at school districts. Look for houses that have vinyl siding. A lot of houses in my area are cedar-sided. This you'll have to paint every 7 years or so to keep it looking nice.

Same here, only because at the cheap restaurant, it'll end up medium rare anyway.

If you buy a house, the money you pay every month is money you get back when you sell the house. With rent, you may as well be burning the money. Also, in the united states, the interest paid on your mortgage is tax deductable. Lastly, the money you put into a house payment can be used as equity for, say, buying a car. You borrow moeny against the house to pay for the car (not as bad as it sounds if you're good with your money), and now the interest that you pay on that loan is also tax deductable. Interest paid on a car loan is not.

I loved the promos last night. Mayweather saying he ascended to greatness from next to nothing reminds me of the pseudo-face promos Angle gave before his WWE debut.
-
Too little too late as far as I'm concerned. Books 5 and 6 could've been made into 2 movies a piece.
-
I know I wasn't talking about the WM match. I thought the conversation had moved to what to do with Show after WM.
-
It would be perfect if Show were still the heel. Then if were to go over Mayweather, he could come out on RAW the next night and proclaim his dominance over boxers. Then Burke could com out and claim he hasn't beaten this boxer. But that would be really awkward to make Burke the face. Maybe it could work if show were the face. However, I don't know how a face bragging like that would come off.

I like this too, but is his posse ready to do a worked brawl? Some reports have been saying that his posse were trying to test the wrestlers. Or you could just replace his posse with indy wrestlers.
-
You're right about it being a cycle. The most obvious example is the Rock and SCSA. Of course you have people in charge now that claimed they made them the stars, so everything has to come from them and not the talent themselves, but that's for another discussion. But you're right though. Since it's a one shot deal, they would feel more pressure to make the angle as successful as possible.
-
Thanks for making a thread on this. I wanted to start one because the whole angle is just so fascinating, but I didn’t want to get noobed out of the building. Does anyone else find it completely odd that the WWE actually listened to their fans and let Mayweather be the heel? Some of us have been clamoring for years to turn Cena heel because some of the fanbase wanted it and it seemed to just make sense. Of course, once you do that, you alienate a part of that fanbase and potentially kill off a moneymaking machine. Applying that to the Mayweather angle, he was brought in to put more “butts in the seats.” One could argue that for the reason the WWE won’t turn Cena heel is the same reason they wouldn’t turn Mayweather heel. Why is the WWE on top of the crowd dynamic now and why are they not afraid of the potential loss of profit (as it would seem they are with turning Cena heel)? Or is it really just a matter of Rey getting injured?
-
I find it fascinating that they had them switch roles already. And as far as the what chant is concerned, that's what the crowds did to him earlier that lead to the crowd turning on him. The script was written with the crowd whating him to death in mind. I just wish he acknowledged it. You could tell he knew it was coming.
-
So, you have a guy flaunting his money. Is he the face in this still? Because I'm getting a Million Dollar Man/JBL vibe from him tonight.
-
Good match. It seemed like one of those matches that the crowd wasn't into at first, but was eventually won over.
