They weren't firing SCSA in 1995. -

The Cena/Bischoff feud needs to die. I've been tired of heel authority figures vs. rebel workers storylines for quite sometime now, as probably everyone else has. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't you get the memo? It's 1998 all over again. -
Ah, you forget about the SD! announcer -- what's-his-name. It's a bitter rivalry that should culminate into a match at WM.
-
So Joe'll be wiping his ass in other guy's faces? Or pretending he's Japanese? Or teaming with another Somoan as a primitive barefoot savage? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lofnl Or dressing up in traditional arabic dress and pretending to be a sheik?

Sooooooo, when do we get to see HHH vs. Viscera?
-
HHH and that's all that matters

YESSSSSSSSS!! Lashley has his first real feud!! And it's with Nunzio and Big Vito! Why? Ummm . . . Ummm . . . Ummm . . . someone want to help me with this one?

Yeah, the skit was horrible, but the show scored a higher rating and in Vince's mind, his "comedy skit" was the reason for it and will be on TV more now than ever -

I'ts just pathetic that someone actually had to come into this thread and post that. I was getting worried that some of the people posting in this thread were retarded. I find things like that skit funny, just because it shows how clueless Vince and company are. They wonder why ratings are falling, they wonder why no one wants to advertise on their shows, and on and on. Think of this: Someone, have it be Vince or some other jackass, actually sat down somewhere (possibly an entire group of yes men), and thought up the idea of the skit, worked it out, wrote it down, went to the trouble to actually film it, and then aired it. If that's not great unintentional comedy, then I don't know what is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're abs. right. It is unintentional comedy, however, I can't laugh because I think about it way too much and the idea the he's an idiot and wants to get higher ratings, but has no clue how just BUGS me. So no, I can't find it funny. But I take things way too seriously. -

Well, I wouldn't think he would make us look silly on purpose, unless he's knowingly sabatoging his business. But, let me say this about the WWE. Vince is the dictator. You want to work in Japan, TNA, ROH or anywhere else, you say "Vince, you're crazy." But people don't want to burn bridges. So as long as Vince is on top, you'll get yes men and people saying want vince wants like on the warrior dvd. Here's my take on the business: Vince doesn't get it. He is a dictator and will do what he wants. He knows this. He's lost touch with his fans and when USA cancels his show, he'll blame it on anyone but himself. Eventually, when HHH, Steph and Shane take over the company, all it will be is HHH promos, squash matches with HHH and whatever SCSA look-alike they can find. B/c of HHH's and Vince's ego, they will have no idea how to put their egos aside for the sake of good wrestling. They will then be bought out and everyone will shoot on Vince and HHH b/c they'll never sign another paycheck again. (this is about 20 + years down the line) -
HBK involved in a DQ finish? noooooo! Seriously, if he doesn't put Cena over, won't he look like a heel?

Ross is still fully employed with the company, just not in an on air capacity. He *knows* they were going to do this. But yeah, McMahon is an extremely classless individual. -
That JBL stuff was classic! I think most of the smarks agree that since the wwe is trying so hard on SD! (b/c it's a sinking ship), they experiment with stuff and it turns out to be better.

They don't actually land on their face -- it looks like they land on the guy doing the move.

The problem is, of course, that the WCW name has been buried so brutally and so persistently by WWE that it's almost ingrained in the mind of the average fan that WCW is an inferior promotion. WCW just isn't as distinctive as ECW either, so a WCW PPV would essentially be just a WWE PPV, especially considering almost all their best workers are/were WWE wrestlers. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's all true, but in my mind and I'm betting in the minds of most fans, WCW was the company that (generally speaking) put the wrestling first and pretty consistantly put on a better pure wrestling show, but then again Steph puts the entertainment before the sport and Vince I think genuinely hates the WCW name <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vince has said time and again that he took the ratings war with WCW VERY personally. So of course he's going to to whatever he can to bury the WCW name and everything associated with it. I wouldn't put it past him to do a WCW-themed ppv and basically make a joke out of it, mocking everything WCW ever did.

Whatever. You would think that *maybe* they would be serious about JR getting well. Just wishful thinking I guess -

Yeah, they were trying to be serious in wishing JR luck and getting well and all that without breaking character. It sounded so weak. I can't tell the difference between kaykabe and shooting whenever the McMahons are on the mic -
Rob conway's finisher is a glorified swining neckbreaker Carlito's is, well, not. I've seen someone from WCW do that same finisher. I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. Seriously, what pain is it "supposed" to inflict on their opponent? Their legs? b/c everything else is cushioned. I think It looks like someone tried a reverse neckbreaker, but got it countered b/c it's they, not their opponent taking the bump (or so it looks)

X-pac heat? -
I don't know what John did, but to see McMahon favor him over a hoss is mind numbing. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, McMahon wants to imagine it's 1998 again, so Cena is his Rock version 2005
-
Just as WWE.com said, to see who deserves the votes most. Mick Foley's in there so Carlito can interfere, giving Cena the DQ victory which will lead to a post-RAW tag match between Cena/Foley vs. Angle/Carlito. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yuck I'll try not to watch, but I will.
-
How do this week's raw matches make sense? Triple threat match between the 3 guys were supposed to vote on? What's the point? What does the winner get? Cena vs. Angle? I thought that was originally going to be the match at TT, but then other wrestlers complained (according to the storyline). So why even have this retarded TT match anyway? And where the hell does mick foley fit in all of this?
-
Shhhhhhhh! You're not supposed to remember that!
