Very odd, especially since LOD and Kennedy usually appear on Smackdown every week. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They needed time to set up the upcoming exciting T and A feud with the divas

[gets on soapbox]On JR's ross report he actually tried to defend the fact that there were commercials during the 30 min. iron man match and said it actually made the match better?? wtf? Don't they get it? It will only be better when there are no commercials during matches. Then he says on raw that you can see the "action" on wwe.com. What a bunch of idiots. [/soapbox] Oh and steph fails to realize that she was the mcmahon that people dislike the most and want to see get stunned not b/c she is an effective heel, but b/c we just don't want to see her on TV. We don't hate the character she plays, we hate HER. If the WWE is paying more attention to the internet, I hope they read this.

While I do argee with this, you have to say, firing JR based his looks is sad. I mean, during a broadcast, who looks at the announcers, much less cares how they look. Oh and great stuff by that Observer guy.

Have you guys seen that "instant access" link on wwe.com? It's the most retarded thing I've ever seen. It has certain wrestlers' reactions to their matches and they are horrible. First of all, everyone probably knows that it's not actually them. But NO ONE wants kayfabe anymore! Read them. Some sound like interviews from WWF magazine in the late '80's. Kennedy actually called his "interviewer" a nincompoop! wft?

who was matt morgan again?

How did Lashley fuck up the finish of his match?

I watched for the first time Great action and ring wrok I'm sick of Nash and Jarret already TNA is trying WAY to hard to compete with WWE and is looking lame, just like WCW did way back when. What they need is a killer gimmick, like nWo, something fresh to turn heads.

You do realize that this is the WWE we're talking about, right? They've proven time and again that they don't have a CLUE about how to write a wrestling show anymore. John Cena used to get over by rapping in the ring. Does he still do that? I do remember Tazz's vignettes before he debuted, when the ring would go orange and you'd hear a lifeline beeping. That was very effective. EDIT: It's become increasingly hard to be a face or even a babyface in recent years, since SCSA basically revolutionized what it is to be a face in this business. I remember when Angle was first coming in. They did a buch of "interviews" about how he's so humbled and honored to get a chance to wrestle in the WWE, making him a babyface. Of course he's been a heel pretty much since his debut. Put both these guys back in the 80's and their roles would be completely reversed. The fans don't want a goody two-shoes anymore. They want someone they can relate to. What does this mean? More elaborate storylines and yes, the use of vignettes.

At the end...Eddie tries to hit Batista with brass knuckles...Batista grabs them. Before this we have the gratuitous ref bump where the ref is out. The ref comes to just as Batista is holding the knucks and Guerrero pretends to be out. The ref calls for the bell and DQs the Animal. As Batista argues with the ref, Guerrero gets a chair and beats Batista senseless. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The WWE needs you. The angle would work well if you didn't have that tool Michael Cole yelling like a two-year old in the background "Batista, he's not your friend, he'll turn on you! Waaaaaaaaaaaa!" Seriously, the WWE needs to get rid of his sorry ass. Cole, way to mark out Eddie's "heel turn."

After seeing his match on SD on Fri with some nameless jobber, I am unimpressed by Lashley. His offense is stale and slow-moving and generates no crowd reaction whatsoever. I am bored with him.

I can't really say anything else that hasn't been said already, but if they wany Mr. Kennedy . . . kennedy to get over by saying over and over that so and so's announcing sucks, good luck trying.

What year did WWE start to lose their edge?

I guess I missed all those botches. Angle/HHH/steph botched? Invasion angle botched? nWo invasion botched? Could someone explain these to me? -
Can anybody name any positives of The Stephanie McMahon Era on The Creative Team since late 2000? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Watching Steph on TV with the mute button on.

Here's another one about a guy in a wheelchair who works out: Go to the third chapter selection screen and highlight the "Name Change" option, then press Right, Right to see a hidden "Warrior University" commercial. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is it the same as the one in the "extras"?

For some reason, I WAS predicting the Ironman draw this past Monday because I thought that by WWE's track record in recent years (DQ's in title matches on PPV's, etc.) that WWE would be stupid enough to do a draw for a supposed "rubber match" and unfortunately I was right. I was still just as pissed as anyone else was about it, though, since finishes like those bullshit the fans every time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They probably figured that the match would be a huge ratings draw, while still making the "real" rubber match a match for the next ppv. Good theory, but it's bad in practice.

I like this guy. I agree that using his name will make it tough(er) for him to get over, but hey, look at Shelton Benjamin. Now that's a mouthfull. As for his finisher, I nearly shat my pants. I loved the dominator when Farooq did it, and yes, Lashley's is different. Lashley holds his opponent in the upright psoition longer, and wraps his opponent's arm around Lashley's neck, then drops them. Farooq never did this. Also, when most people sold the old dominator, it looked horrible because they would land on their hands and knees, instead of their face. It looked awful (much in the way people sometimes sell the pedigree). I do, also agree that his facial expressions are . . . well . . . unusual. A big man who's agile. Now that's a new concept -- oh wait. If they allow him to showcase his mat wrestling skills, then that would be a step in teh right direction. We'll see how he does. By the way, someone mentioned Matt Morgan's finisher. Could someone describe it in more detail?

You all know why the WWE product has fallen off in the past 4-5 years, right? Because there is no competition. The WWE cared more about putting on a good show because Vince took this competition with WCW to heart. So he did all he could to out do Bischoff. Now, he's won and to him, that's all that matters. They can pay it safe and not be creative because they cornered the wrestling market.
