This whole "Rush Limbaugh doesn't want Obama to succeed" is really spiraling out of control. I don't think Obama wants to acknowledge the like of Rush because that just going to draw attention to him. I get the pleasure of listening to him because my boss listens to him and all this talk of wanting Obama top fail just stems from him towing the campaign line about Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright and socialism. He wants Obama to fail because he doesn't want a socialist government. Listening to him can be entertaining. At times.

I like Gabriel Iglesias. I haven't seen much new material, though. I don't like George Lopez's stand up routine. He's always telling these long drawn-out stories, with many of his jokes based on these stories. If I start watching it in the middle, I find myself completely lost. And I'm sick of minorities doing the generic or "valley girl" white person-speak.

Surprise, surprise. McMahons putting over McMahons. But I do like how they left things with Stephanie open-ended. It would have made sense if she truly hated Orton to get back in the ring and slap him around a bit when Orton was incapacitated.

I think we have last week's ratings spike to thank for that.

Still, I have enjoyed Orton in this storyline

and as much as Id like a 46 inch tv, I dont think I have the room for it. 42 is about the biggest I can go (I know, it stinks) given the measurements of the stand I have which is as big as it can be and I cant put it on a wall (which I honestly think looks stupid anyway..). Samsung is the best for LCDs. I would go with that one. My friend has the 46" 630 and it's nice. Plus, there's a 10% off coupon from BB floating around the internet. Google it or go to slickdeals.net and search for it. I think it expires at the end of the month though.

What's your budget? $1100? Amazon.com has the Samsung LN46A630 on sale for $1300. Is the NFL shop rebate through samsung or best buy? Plus I don't know if your state qualifies for sales tax through amazon, but I think it's free white glove shipping, which is nice.

I know they keep replaying the Larry Fitzgerald interview with Cris Carter and it's annoying and all, but it is refreshing to hear a WR with his feet firmly on the ground for once. Especially with Boldin heading toward TO'ville.

Is it just me, or are the Pioneer Kuro plasmas dropping in price?

Speaking as a person who watched the entire season 2, but gave up season 3 onwards, I just want to see how the show ends. I have a feeling though that it will be so convoluted that I won't get anything out of it.

I also bought a sony Z series 46" LCD with speakers and blu-ray. The HD picture is amazing. The sound system with HDMI (instead of the red and white cords) is very nice too. Standard def picture is okay. It makes me wish I got a plasma. Anyway, the Z series is very thin and the bezel is also very thin. The TV set itself is all black (the TV speakers on other sony models are silver for some reason). Overall and very nice TV and a very nice looking set. The thing about plasma is that if it's (supposedly) cheaper and has a better picture, why get an LCD? The only reason why I got an LCD was that plasmas use more energy and my wife didn't like the amount of heat the plasmas generate. But if I saw a deal on a top on the line plasma, I would've bit on it.

Based on what we saw last night, a pairing between Manu + Snuka, Jr makes sense. I still want to see where Goldust fits in all this. I really haven't watched much lately, so I don't know what role he is playing on the show. But with him on the roster, it just seems to good not to involve him with the legacy in some way.

So, for shits and giggles I tried the connection again. I got no error message and I get cable and sound. What most likely happened is that when I first plugged in the cable box, I turned it on too early, causing it to boot up improperly. Apparently, you can't turn the box on, or touch anything before the clock displays on the cable box (according to guys at time warner when I called them about an unrelated issue). This, time I know I let it boot up before turning the box on. Wierd.

I've always loved this movie. Mostly for the costume Chun-Li wears. That movie definitely helped me through puberty.

So I was talking with my brother who apparently met and had a conversation with current Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. Now, according to my brother, Mike told him that the reason why Cowher resigned from his position was because he was screwing his personal assistant, his wife found out and told him she was leaving for North Carolina abd you can come with your family or you can stay with her. I find it very hard to believe that Mike would admit to a perfect stranger what "really" happened behind closed doors. Has anyone heard anything like that?

So I just bought a Sony KDL46Z4100 and I was trying to hook up my HD cable box to the TV with an hdmi cable. When I do I get this copyright error -- Your HDTV does not comply with HDCP (or something like that). Sure the Blu ray works with the hdmi cale to the TV, but not the box. So I google the exact error message and apparently it's a huge issue that people are having. Now, mind you these discussions are from 02, 05 and 06 that I found online. So I figure they have to have fixed it by now. I called the cable company and he says it's essentially a poor cale. I needed to spend $40+ on a better hdmi cable b/c mine was probably not made to comply with FCC regulations. But from what I understand, it's bad (old) technology on the cable box itself and we're at the mercy of the cable companies. Has any one else had this problem?

It's been snowing pretty steadily in upstate NY since Friday.

I for one see nothing really wrong with it as a viewer. I get to see Conan (whose show I like) an hour earlier. I never got to watch him at the 12:35 slot. And I would have missed Leno. Now I get to watch him at an earlier hour. Of course Conan must be feeling dissed. But what can he do? It's not like he can threaten to jump to CBS.

You can imagine what Glenn Beck was talking about today. Not to really knock Marvin, but I just happened to be listening to Beck this morning telling everyone to invest in gold.
