I guess Cena's injury got HBK's heart back in the business.
-
That answers the lack of faces for Orton.
-
HHH has plently of toys to play with. Orton might have to wait for Lashley to return.
-
Maybe WWE caught my post earlier explaining in detail why Orton shouldn't face HHH until WM and made the right call. HIAC is Hunter's squash toy anyways, let Umaga bump his ass off and Hunter bleeds and miraculously wins.

He hurt his leg when Cena beat him up. C'mon, stat keeper.
-
You tell them, fake sport record keeper.
-
I'm thinking Kennedy before Carlito.

That is the back-up plan from what I have heard. However, who is out there to put them over from the old generation? Bret or Anvil? Is there anyone else? If the others came back from the dead, that'd be a hell of a way to put over the new kids.

Pink=Good. Black and Blue=Bad. Making it easier for the fanbase to tell who is what.
-
Not really, Punk does have a rep for being a prick from time to time.

How often does it rain in Vegas? I know it rains more often in Orlando.
-
If rain is expected, I can see them using a canopy to cover the ringside area. The rest of the crowd would be fucked.

Only $99.00!

It's behind Yokozuna's reign. Add that to the HHH:Hogan comparisons. What was longer, HHH's reign or Sting's reign?
-
Still not clear if he even intends to come back at all.

I don't agree with doing HHH-Orton again so soon, especially with HIAC. If they really want a HIAC match again, save it for Batista/UT later this year probably at Armageddon. I think the expectations for Jericho's return to culminate with a main event slot is a reach right now. I still think we should see HHH-Orton rematch being delayed for WM. Right now WWE doesn't have any other top heel or face and they can build off last night's well received match and build the hype quite well. It would actually be nice to see WM main event build over a period of months instead of the usual start time of after the Rumble even a couple weeks beforehand. It wouldn't be difficult to keep HHH busy with people such as Henry, Kennedy and McMahon himself for the next 6 months. As for Orton? Well, that's a slightly tougher road given that Raw is devoid of strong faces outside of HHH and Hardy right but I figure with Lashley slated to return in December that can keep Orton occupied into the Rumble. I know everyone insists that Kennedy and Jericho should be there but they won't be. Jericho won't be main eventing WM. They had a golden opportunity with Jericho last night and they didn't go for it. They went with the status quo in Randy Orton, whom has been considerably hot for the past couple of months and if they keep him strong, he can reach a pretty high level for WM with HHH. The only other route I could see them going with is Orton-Batista, which is possible if UT/Edge is still the idea for Smackdown. It does leave HHH out in the dark though and I don't expect them to let that happen.

It's flabbergasting to know that many members of the IC were pulling for him to be The Joker in The Dark Knight. Jeez. AT LEAST HE DIDN'T HAVE GAY SEX IN A MOVIE!

What self respecting man doesn't haven't Field of Dreams in their top 10?

Aside from The Royal Rumble and Backlash, the rest of the PPVs this year have been pure crap IMO. Now with Orton being the champ, I hope they finally let destroy that fucking belt spinner belt tomorrow night or at least throw it in the garbage where it belongs. Driven is hands down the PPV of the year with Backlash being the top WWE thus far. The spinner belt is done. It's just a blinged out belt that suits the direction WWE has been following for years, desperately out of touch.
-
This wasn't the PPV of the year, Deon. One really good match doesn't make for PPVOTY.
-
Orton carrying the title isn't the worst thing. It could be John Morrison.
-
I mentioned this earlier but I'm shocked that after all this time, WWE never brought Kobayashi in for a food eating skit with V or Henry.
-
I'll have to watch the LMS again without the suspense and see if it holds up but it was certainly a nail biter because they could have honestly gone either way.
-
Remember how HHH/Orton was supposed to be the WM main event 4 years straight? Imagine if they actually had that match at WM? If they can hold off on doing a rematch until then, they could have pretty good expectations.

Punk-Viscera was MOTY. 40 seconds of Punk bouncing around like 123 Kid and Striker touches Punk and it's over. It was brilliant work.
