In WWE? That's true. Yes, it had a brief spurt in the late 90's/early 00's with a handful of good matches and not just the spotfests but it hasn't meant something of great importance (outside of a couple times in efforts to put over a specific talent) since about that period. If you want strong emphasis on Tag Team wrestling, you can find it in a couple of noticeable locations. yes, I'm just referring to the WWE...one thing TNA has done right is tag team wrestling. It has? I guess in comparison, they have.

I like the usage of the dove in the No Mercy graphic.

Guys, get some perspective. Jericho? He was buried. Londrick just got attacked by HHH and laid out. No one remembers this next week when Londrick comes out to another modest pop.

BURIAL! LET'S JUST SAY BURIAL! BURIAL! If we keep saying it, maybe it will be true! That was a BURIAL!

Next week: Carlito and Rednecks Vs HHH and Londrick. That'd be a fun little match. Edit: Oh, oops

Didn't we learn at WM23 that WWE doesn't do musical numbers all that well, aside from a Slick cameo?
-
Smackdown already has the ABA gimmick rolling around.
-
That's going to be someone's finisher by next week.

Not really. They hyped the hell out of the title change match, with many ads and two Punk packages basically screaming "HE WINS THE TITLE!". It worked, ratings went up.

It ought to read RHODES. Nepotism rules.

The idea of Duggan being in a match that requires him to climb (i.e show physical skill) is the funniest thing of the entire show, thus far.
-
Well, this is random but I mark for flag matches.

Orton confessed before the story broke, so that is his cover or something. Santino, I'm not sure what his excuse is. I guess they figured 6 or 7 was enough... no one is really paying attention other then us.

Given WWE's recent and deserved string of bad luck, General Mills will probably present WWE with a lawsuit for wrongful product placement of Lucky Charms.

Wow, WWE makes two somewhat modern pop culture references....
-
Hornswoggle strapped into a car seat was pretty cute. That reminds me, I'm stunned Vince hasn't tried to do a Dr. Evil rip-off (it's been 7 years and that is about when McMahon gets to pop culture) and have a evil midget clone in his likeness.

It comes out in early november (9th, to be exact) and yes, it was panned.
-
Are you guys going to repeat the Sisqo comments every week until he gets rid of it?

If the botch count is under double digits, It'd be a small miracle.

I really like this decision by Gabe since it propels the angle itself and provides incentive to also buy the DVD when that comes out. A couple images.

Heroes has all the time to win the award. This is basically a lifetime achievement award for Sopranos.
-
Debra Messing, of Will and Grace fame.
-
Can't believe Spader won.

Aside from that, Seacrest has been decent enough. Award shows don't really have "hosts" anymore.
