One of the more effective segments with Cena, in quite some time. In fact, the STFU just looked like he was putting Regal's head in a vise, which is probably the best way to protray that move. Writes Regal out without being absurd, puts over Cena by having him not even speak but just attacking Regal. What's not to get?

The problem is that it feels like a complete rehash of all the other "dominant" female angles we've seen in the past.

That haircut didn't quite live up to the hype.

Yes, Umaga looks strong here as well by kicking out at the three and only losing by a fluke pin. They wrote him out well.

ECW/Smackdown Spoilers for the 9/4 and 9/7 airings

Punk would have been a top guy in ECW as well. -
The important thing isn't that they did a unplanned spot on the ref but made a clear threat in front of the locker to physically harm Murdoch and Cade. The ref bump was just the final straw. They'll be back in a couple of months. No one ever stays fired, unless they want that.

I actually thought that was Edge at first on the front (the hair, chin and the star) but as far as shirts go, that isn't the worst. In fact, the back isn't all to bothersome. They can't do any worse then the newest Punk shirt, which is a shame since he is the easiest guy to make a shirt for.

Anyone else find it odd that Congress et al. aren't going after professional bodybuilders like Jay Cutler, Ronnie Coleman, etc. who eat oodles and oodles of steroids...blatantly? I'd love for Gov. Schwarzengger to take a stand against roids. WWE is a public company that is supposedly allowing its employee's to partake in illegal and deadly activity. They are going after WWE, not Randy Orton and Edge. Bodybuilders aren't dropping dead at a disturbing rate.

Is Matt still working off the big contract he suckered WWE into by threatening to go to TNA?

So wait, Jeff Hardy is making 1.2 million a year??!! Probably a little less than that, but it would depend on if the houses were good, how well the PPV's draw and if he's on them and in a good position on the card. I'm guessing for 2007 he's making a high six-figure income, at least. This is Jeff Hardy. He's been one of the highest merchandise sellers for both TNA and WWE for the past 7 years. I'm pretty sure he makes more than 1.2 a year. Just a matter of how much he blew supporting his various habits.

Someone always wants to throw out the race card when it involves black people, it could never be that they were unprofessional.

I'm sure Walsh will still play a part on Entourage, at least for the first episode.

Today was one of the worst games I ever attended, just atrocious all the way around. Pedro didn't look all that impressive as if he was still rusty, Harrang had a rare off day and the play was just plodding.

ECW/Smackdown Spoilers for the 9/4 and 9/7 airings

They could really just do that with pretty much every single person on the roster. I can't see WWE going for the sXe angle right now, there isn't a need for it. -
They were good opening match level act to get the crowd going. They got the 'Godfather pop', and that was it. It's no big loss to see them gone. So? Some talent they're putting out there get no pop. I'd rather hear a Godfather pop than none at all. Unless they beat Cade and Murdoch bloody, unprovoked, they should have been kept. Who's going to replace them, for the time being? Slap a catchphrase on a new face team and you'll get the same response within a couple of weeks.
-
What exactly makes you say that? Despite being named, he is still in the main event for Unforgiven with a decent enough chance to actually take the title due to WWE's typical desire of being defiant to the mainstream.
-
I think now that Angle pulls the strings and doesn't travel as often, she pulled back on her stance but yeah, it was mostly the additional income.
-
Which is why I don't buy into Batista. HHH still looks at Batista as if he made him, why would he want to risk tainting that? That said, I don't buy Snitsky either.
-
It'd only take a matter of weeks, if not sooner, for the Raw locker room to hate Batista again.
-
Haas just jobbed to Londrick, not quite an explanation for his absence unless they shoot a angle next week with Benjamin saying he's sick of Charlie losing matches and flying solo again.
-
"Things are looking up"=Sabu!, actually, it probably just means Mysterio is the kid, since ya know, he's short. Also, he got the roid love from Vince.
-
They really should have just shot a Hair Match stipulation with Carlito and HHH for tonight.
-
It's been awhile since someone tried to blame HHH for something, much less every single miserable aspect of the WWE.
-
Ok. Carlito's hair got fired too? Oh, great. Umaga, just to prove a point, will job to 2 of the top three faces.

They had a back-up plan if Kennedy being the child didn't get over, but I don't know if it would have occurred to them to have a back-up plan for the back-up plan. I think it depends on how determined they are that the angle be a vehicle to get Kennedy over so he can headline Wrestlemania against Hunter. If they still want Kennedy in that spot, they'll find a way to work around his suspension, even if it means that someone else gets revealed as the child and they and Kennedy work together somehow. If they decide to take Kennedy out of the spot, then someone could be in for a lucky career break. Have Kennedy be named the bastard child and Linda, whom still has control of the company simply "fires" Kennedy for causing embarrassment. McMahon can spend the month trying to get his son hired back.
