PTI and ATH are taking their usual summer absence, which happens to fit right in for ESPN to promote the Brickyard 400, which is the second biggest race of the season.

WWE General Discussion for July 2007
Hawk 34 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
More 3rd generational stars. Good. -
What you know, Punk was firmly established once again as the top face in the promotion. Six feet under is Punk.

AA Batting Coach/Former MLB Player Killed At Game
Hawk 34 replied to EVIL~! alkeiper's topic in Sports
I disagree. If you had 100+ MPH rock-like things come flying at you, wouldn't you want as much protection as you could get? Sure it's unlikely, but it only takes one good shot and something like this can happen. If he had a batting helmet on there's a distinct possibility he'd not only be alive, but completely uninjured. If you are afraid of getting hit by a ball coming at you, you're in the wrong business. -
What four guys would that be? Proof? Source? I know they like Burke and Cor Von more...looks like Morrison has moved ahead of him also.....I should have put Punk's 4th not that 4 guys were ahead of him. It was on several sites credited to the observer awhile back that Burke and Cor Von were much higher thought of than Punk. I guess that explains why Burke jobs to Punk in EVERY match they have and why Cor Von hasn't been on TV since he jobbed to Punk about a month ago. When a show is full of heels you can only push one at a time.....but Punk is the one jobbing in the high profile matches..... If they hated him so much like you insist they do, they wouldn't put him in the spot to begin with.

Has MCV ever resurfaced or is he still AWOL? I'll put aside the cheesy joke. He's still around. I'm not sure if he has come back to perform.
-
A yardstick would be obvious, right? They each won. They were different "seasons".
-
Kelly could learn a few moves from Miz, really.
-
Which is strange because every report that says Stephanie hates Punk, also adds that Vince loves Punk as does other guys not named Finlay. Even Hunter. (Insert typical TSM "HE WANTS TO BURY HIM TOO!" quote). The entire "WWE HATES PUNK!" act is silly. It doesn't exist. You don't get pushed as a top face, regardless of how low the brand is seen in their eyes if you don't like the guy at all.
-
I still wonder what become of Vince's belief that Punk should be a heel given his lifestyle. He probably forgot, I'm sure. Punk's brief heel run showed more signs of the true CM Punk then we've seen throughout his entire good guy loves to wrestle act.
-
When the roster consists of 8 people, even Stevie was bound to score a win at some point. Maybe it's Guido's turn next week.
-
Stevie-Morrison at Slam would be good.
-
Why isn't CM Punk in the ring right now?
-
No. You see, his hair is fluffy now and he's wearing two jackets now. It's subtle. Pay attention.
-
He should get rid of the Nitro pose with the belt to go along with this dramatic gimmick change.
-
People love to throw around the word buried. He jobbed, so he's buried. Ruined for life. He's worthless. Can't believe NoCal tried to use the non existant politics card. There is an excuse for Morrison being a champion and it's because they thought he'd be a fluke champion to put the title right back on Benoit when he would return after missing the PPV. Obviously that was thrown out the window, so might as well build Morrison as a top champion heel. Punk isn't ruined. You're reacting for the sake of reacting.

Will they call the models, Carey's Chicks?
-
He's fine in other smaller promotions but the facts are facts, he hasn't performed well enough to get a spot over better talent or people that suit ROH's needs more effectively.
-
Any plan with Orton for WM should be taken with a grain of salt given his history.
-
I still find the concept of RVD being a legend quite a laugh.

The dream match 4 years in the making. Are people going to actually bitch about Cena going over fucking Trevor Murdoch?

I can't believe I'm marking for Jeff Hardy in 2007.
