When not injured, Dustin can still go in the ring and he is a tremendous heel character who is quite skilled at working a crowd. Sid, while a charismatic figure doesn't have anything more to offer other then a nostalgic pop, maybe a brief stint as someone's bodyguard and to do a couple random beat downs.
-
I’d love to see the reaction he’d get from the current fan base after nearly a decade away from the mainstream outside of his injury being seen quite often by the Youtube generation. While he was one of the most atrocious performers in-ring ever, the man was an incredible example of mesmerizing charisma.

Bottom line, questionable conclusion and all, The Sopranos was one of the greatest TV shows of all time with an incredible collection of remarkable characters.
-
I never thought nor said it was genius but it wasn't horrible. It had meaning and there's nothing wrong with letting the viewers made thier own interpretation of what really happened and what the purpose was. People harping on the supposed lack of closure should realize that this show could never give you complete closure. It required to leave things in the dark.
-
Yeah but that didn't show blood. So it's a shit ending, of course. That's exactly what happened. AJ made it obvious when he said something about remembering the good times. Tony's last image would be seeing Meadow. Seems only appros.
-
I'm sad no one mentioned AJ mocking Livia. Ya know, the ending really did make sense if you try not to think of it as being a let-down when you're expecting dead bodies everywhere and multiple double turns.
-
Just to be sure, we all got the same ending right? The last shot was Tony looking up when Meadow was running and right to black...right? I wasn't sure if my connection got lost or something. If that was the finish, I'm not that upset about it. I'm glad it wasn't a big dramatic conclusion. We know what will happen to Tony, anyways. If it was a "choose your own ending", I'm not pleased with that. I choose to see it as, the family being together happy while we know Tony's headed to trial soon. We see that AJ finally finds what he wants to do in life, Meadow does the same with a life ahead of her. Carmella has her real estate deal going on... Everyone pays far to much attention to the finish. I quite enjoyed this show.

What did Lebron say?

It has Luke Perry in it. How could it suck?

I don't want to be this guy, but this is the very reason of why we have a section for non-news/speculation.

WWE General Discussion for June 2007

I don't get this from a kayfabe perspective. Why would Edge, who is the champion, want his brand to get a big draft pick? In theory, getting the draft pick means a huge superstar gets picked, adding more competition to his title. In theory, he would want a big star for bigger main events and so when he beats that person, he looks better for it. Besides, he hates Cena and all that good stuff. Shouldn't ECW be involved in that match? Make it a triple threat. -
It's 0-0 in the bottom of the 12th in the Battle of Ohio. Fantastic game. Hamilton with a bullet to home plate to save a run. Gonzo knocks in the winning run.

Good to see Knocked Up staying strong.

The 00's Reds are the Bengals of the 90's. Quite frankly, Junior isn't the only "key" name thats expected to be the table this summer. Dunn, Junior, Hatteberg and maybe even a starter in Loshe or even Arroyo are those big names facing a possible trade.

People still think Shane is a better option then Stephanie? It was clear years ago that Shane's just as dumb with ideas and he continues to prove it. At least Stephanie has the decency to stay off the screen aside from the rare appearence in a skit. -

House is a TNA fan, you idiot -
Back in the early 90's, WCW pretty much had most matches go really long. Going 17 minutes wasn't a big deal.

Janice killing Tony was a popular theory early this year. I do think a Soprano will finally kill Phil but not Tony nor Janice. AJ. I have to think AJ will finally man up and do something for his family. If he does, he won't do it in that macho way. Most likely the clumsy AJ way. Like with Junior but with successs. I can't remember the last TV show finale that had so many "theories" surrounding it. Maybe Seinfeld.

The Ladder Match dvd is a fine product although a dvd devoted to one specific type of match, as you would expect can become monotonous especially when comparing the true quality matches against the inferior ones. The appeal is possibly to see the evolution of the spot mentality and the focus drawing away from the story-telling into full blown spot-bump matches. I’ve only observed the first disc which includes drastic differences in match techniques from the rudimentary and rough open match that was quite an interesting match for historical purposes and it wasn’t bad for a JYD match. That’s when you shift into the Michaels' matches, where you slowly see more and more bumps becoming institutional in these matches. I really enjoyed the WCW ladder match more then other tag-team matches on the first disc. Perhaps it was because it seemed fresher as we’re not used to seeing Helms, Knoble, Yang and Moore involved in spot-fest matches anymore in WWE not to mention it had a different feel from the other matches. It wasn’t the best match, far from it, but from watching these, I got the most out of it because it really was different in the involved participates and execution. I enjoyed how loaded the collection is as it hits the essential matches and even offered a couple gems as well, while avoiding overkill with the WMX match since at this point, it must be the most re-used match after Andre-Hogan and HBK-Shawn WM12. It should be pointed out that Edge (9), Jeff Hardy (8) and Christian (8) are all over this dvd. That’s almost half of the entire collection. 22 Matches and nine involved the same guy. While it certaintly puts Edge over as the Master of the Ladder, it’s also overkill. I can’t help but think there had to be a couple better choices to offer different people. While these might not have been better matches, they could have been used in order to provide a different presentation of styles. Bret Hart Vs Bad News Allen -July 1983 Eddie Guerrero Vs Syxx-Souled Out 1997 Jeff Jarrett Vs Chris Benoit-Starrcade 1999 Jung Dragons Vs 3 Count-July 2000 (Nitro) Justin Credible Vs Tommy Dreamer (Stairway to Hell-Heat Wave 2000)* Sandman Vs Steve Corino Vs Justin Credible- TLCC-Guilty as Charged 2000* *This is to show the variation of the ladder match and to use the ECW name in this collection. I just felt a couple matches weren’t all that necessary (specifically Nitro-Hardy, Christian-Edge and Christian-Jericho) and involving another WCW match and including ECW into the collection would have been great. It’s a pretty good collection overall and seeing how full this collection is makes me wish they could have done the same with the cage match DVD.

How so? It went down as expected. Claudio was a bit suspect but it was a swerve from the predictable Nigel victory and Claudio/Morishima should be all types of goodness. The only curious booking choice was the early placement of the Danielson match.

His ring gear stands out and fits perfectly for his character but that went over many people's head. I'm glad to see him name drop Liger. It's not like he's wearing Max Moon's outfit. That was a fucking Power Ranger outfit. -
Well, Homer performed as expected. Solid but with some issues. He was quite impressive getting out of the jam in the 5th inning with bases loaded.

Which Jackasses are being used? I know Steve-O is involved but who else? I can only name two other guys (Knoxville and Bam) but I'd guess they aren't doing this because they have better things to do.
