Not quite. This is a different McMahon. Notice the subtle shift in facial tics? A world of a difference.
-
See, if Vince was really nuts he'd just book Cena against Stevie Richards and Brett Majors.
-
It's been over 7 years since Flair, so I'd say it's about damn time.
-
They aren't setting up a McMahon-Cena program here, people. McMahon's gonna interupt everyone.
-
Oh, now Vince is ripping off Flair's run. We've been waiting for Vince to finally go paranoid. (On-screen)

Cena doing well to put over Raw as the A brand.

Not quite. They turned the volume down on a couple occasions but they were smart enough to know it would pass.

Alot of Willis' moves can become samey but not Bruce Willis. He's always money. He's not only doing action flicks, Buffy. He's done a few dramas/thrillers here and there and did well in those. -

Hey, Stevie has been getting more TV time and Vince named dropped the Meanie a couple weeks ago. Nova's sitting back there in the office. Make it happen. -
MVP wasn't even a lumberjack. You're probably confused with Marella. Whom got far to much time last night. The Marella-Maria thing can't end well. As for the titles, there are 9 titles and that's just one more then the usual # of matches. Wouldn't be shocked to see them set up a 4 Corners match wtih either both tag titles on the line to tease a unification or the same with the US/IC titles.

Bill France Jr has died. That finally puts me and me alone on the board.

Edge looks like a fucking scarecrow standing between Cena and Lashley. -
There are a couple of ex's I would attend if I was invited because they weren't ugly breakups and/or remained friends with them. Anything else? Not a chance.

I was going off on what another poster has said about Khali and meeting him at an airport. It's still irrelevant to any Khali criticism.

It's the right thing as well. He never should have been fired in the first place. Dustin has to be closing in on Marty's hired-fired record. -
::spit take:: Are you serious? Really? I mean, really? Khali Pros: -Is really, really tall. Khali Kons: -Has exactly three moves... and that includes punching. -Can't bump. Literally, he can't take bumps because his weird body can't withstand the impact. -Can't speak English. -Once KILLED A GUY IN THE RING. Compared to guys like Big Show, Undertaker, Andre, or hell even Kevin Nash, Khali is just so clumsy and immobile that he can't do shit in the ring. Do you seriously expect Khali bump like TBS? That's precisely why along with horrible booking and character changes, TBS lost his appeal. Khali CAN bump. We've seen it and the less he does bump, the better. He shouldn't be taking back drops and hip tosses. He's taken bodyslams, FU's, dropkicks to the ground, face plants and even a couple falling over the top rope spots. WWE is actually doing something right for a change by not having him be a bump machine like previous big monsters have been. Of course he can talk english but it doesn't go with his gimmick. Umaga speaks english to but does he use it with his gimmick? No. How is that a real con? Of course he can do more moves, he does the chop, bear-hug, the roundhouse kick, the double chokeslam and the side-slam because he doesn't need to bust out more moves then that because he doesn't need to. Not every needs to bust out 'Ranas and flying elbows. Less is more with a guy like Khali. The death has been covered here. Khali has might quite drastic improvements over the year not just as a personality and understanding how to work a crowd but his in-ring work as well. He gets what his purpose his and does it quite well. He manages to utilize himself in a very sound way.

For an extreme PPV, there was probably only two "extreme" moments in the entire show. No blood outside a busted mouth from Edge. Orton-RVD was a complete joke with a shit finish and even worse after-match beat down. The tables match was TV quality with a decent build to the finish. Ladder match was quite awkward thanks to Charlie Haas's confusion and timidity, it had a couple interesting spots but it felt really disjointed. Lumberjack match was so horrible that Val Venis stole the fucking show. The ECW title match was the same old match except McMahon jobbed. Shane missing the Van Terminator was nice, though. Pudding match was okay time kill comedy. Edge-Batista was actually a good match but got killed with the shitty timed finish. Cena did the most once again and dragged something out of the impossible and closed the show with the big spot of the night. Wasn't a HORRIBLE show just really bland.
-
Hey, they actually left ring-side. Into the crowd now. HERE COMES THE BOOM! Looks like we're going to see quite the finish here, with Khali on the crane. Cena FU's Khali off the crane onto the ground. Victory Cena. Match still lasts under 10 minutes. Cena stands on the race car giving Gillette quite the advertisement. I think the finish would have been better if Cena fell over with Khali landing on him but you take what you can.
-
Khali chops Cena off the top rope sending him crashing.
-
Not quite as much as Haas in pants was earlier.
-
I wonder if this will even double the time of their last PPV match. Otherwise, the show ends at 10:40 again. They need to actually adhere to the rules and go around the arena.
-
Aside from a few spots in the tables and ladder matches, this has been quite a bland show. Nothing has sucked, mind you but just blandness. I take that back, Orton-RVD was total shit and so was Kane/Henry but Val Venis redeemed it. Problem was, Batista couldn't see Edge...so he was clearly waiting for the cue to know Edge had landed.
-
Escape finish I assume? Double escape. Edge climbs over, Batista crawls out. Batista gets stuck/falls asleep...Edge falls down. Poorly timed as well as it was supposed to look dramatic and close but wasn't remotely that.
-
Edge wins. Batista fell asleep crawling out. Good match with shit finish. Oddly enough, outside of a busted mouth from Edge, we haven't got any blood in the EXTREME ppv.
