Huh? That honestly doesn't make any sense to me. Why does it matter if he's on ECW or Smackdown? Though one thing I gotta ask is, you have a one hour show and a two hour show, Ozzy's going to perform for 4 to 5 minutes, why would you want to put that on a one hour show? Raw used to have the live rock acts since it was the staple show and ECW in theory suits Ozzy more (moreso the network itself) rather then the admitted 3rd brand on a taped friday night slot. I just felt it was odd they put Ozzy on Smackdown rather then Raw or ECW. Not that Ozzy would spike the ratings much but I would think Ozzy appeals to the Sci-Fi crowd a little more then the friday night CW crowd.

I think Cook figured if Kutcher could give it a shot in Butterfly Effect, he had a chance.

Remember when Ozzy was a popular mainstream name just a few years back? Man, he fell hard again. He can't even get a spot on ECW, where it would seem he'd be a better fit. In fact, Thorne needs to get all fan-boy on Ozzy meeting him backstage.

Next year will be even more unbearable with all the Sanjaya wannabes and AI leaving 2-3 talented signers off the final 24 for the sake of comedy characters that catch fire and survives for 6-8 weeks.

Shane might not be a big guy, but he isn't all that tiny either...and he's been in quite a few matches where he brawled and even did some chain wrestling (see: Angle @ KOTR) and it should be feasible given his length of time in the business and like 8 years of being an on-and-off on screen character with some matches under his belt that he could do some...SOME...damage. Add the fact that most times when he actually does go into the ring he is in some kind of odd gimmick match where he can throw himself from high places.......he has the ability to get a win here and there. And as much as it annoys me that he gets to do the Van Terminator all the time, I think he should have stuck with doing the Macho Elbow for any sort of credible finisher. What amazes me is that despite not appearing to be remotely athletic at all, he usually hits the Terminator spot dead on.

oh man, I don't agree at ALL...that last battle was fantastic! The dude blowing to pieces with the sticky bomb, Adam Goldberg's character's sick death scene, all hope pretty much lost for the American soldiers before the bombbers help them out...great sequence! have to agree, yet again, with Curry up there. I hate Ben Affleck, can't stand him whatsoever, but he's very watchable in Chasing Amy...Dogma, too, for that matter. Actually anytime Affleck is in a Kevin Smith movie he does a good job. It seems like Kevin is the only person that can get a watchable performace out of the guy. I wasn't aware Kevin Smith also directed Changing Lanes, Armageddon, Good Will Hunting and Boiler Room.

While the finish of a Van Shaneinator would be atrocious, a street fight with RVD and Shane at ONS could be quite fun. Just have Shane "step up" and plea to his father to handle this on his own and get rid of RVD once and for all. Also, just since we haven't seen it yet, I'll call Sabu or Dreamer turning on RVD tonight or quite soon.

I'm surprised they didn't duplicate WMXIX and have Trump-McMahon with Lashley and Umaga deep in the background as the cover for the WMXXIII DVD. I'd like to think they save the final burial for ONS for the symbolic measure.

Ozzy and Boogeyman seems like a natural skit in the making. I like the idea of a long tag match with Benoit/Matt and Finlay/MVP. Guess the plans with Vickie are back on? Another country tag team and Gibson is still on the sidelines doing nothing? The main event segment looks all kinds of good.

The lack of a long McMahon promo puts it ahead of a good deal of other ECW shows in the previous weeks. The show was rolling until the Punk re-turn that went nowhere. Punk STILL hasn't said anything about it. Just keeps on smilin' and pointing at the I WUV PUNK signs.

They should just do Cherry Pie every week. Remember when it seemed like all WWE had in the truck that wasn't nu metal, was "Buttons"?

I bet Cole picks the songs for these dance skits. I thought you meant the girls here at first, until I saw the time stamp. I don't think they have issues.

I'm not sure why the people here would complain. They were aware that Undertaker was out. They knew Henry was coming back. They knew Kennedy was gone for awhile. If they are going to get pissed that WWE made the logical move to promote the title chance, they should be pissed to follow the news that reported Undertaker being out of action.

Bad timing. It's a good chance this show is done. It's a good show from the few episodes I've seen. More of a show that's better on DVD then it is as routine tv.

No. History shows people tune in for a title change, even if they know outright who it will be. It's a simple move. Now, they could just go "Well, the world title changed hands on SD" but not say if Batista won or Edge cashed in. That opens some intrigue.

Pepsi is missing the boat on a deal with Punk. Oooh, Punk gets PPV singles match. It said "WORLD" in betwen. WWE really should just do a Pepsi Logo Punk shirt. It wouldn't be the first time soda companies designs are used by other corporations.

Is that Kendrick's brother standing there? I like that the ECW open video changes every week while for the longest time, SD was using the exact same sequence.

I can only see Kennedy and Punk being mainstay credible main event level names for the WWE in the future out of all the younger crop of talent. Burke has the tools though. Not counting people like Cena whom might still be considered a part of the new crop given he's still quite young.

The appeal of Simon is a snap comment and the resulting "OH NO HE DIDN'T!" reaction. If he just rambled, he'd actually back his comments up. Blake should be gone since he blew a niche that was hand-made for him but I'm expecting LaKisha to walk out.

Cena's great at these type of deals and with the booking, they'll use all the shortcuts possible to make the match work. It won't be a classic but it'll be a solid entertainment match. A set up between players like these two aren't designed for a chain wrestling session but they'll generate great heat and work off Cena's ability to come up big in these matches.
