Why shouldn't the Pats get love for pulling this off for next to nothing? You either get a WR who can still go and helps out a offense that needed targets for Brady or you get a headcase that will cost little to nothing to toss aside. It's win-win.

By that theory, they would have dumped Taylor instead of Daughtery last year. The best thing is to get more momentum from the show. They knew Daughtery would be a smash outside the show and wouldn't need the AI Title. Having Taylor or McPhee win would give them that title to ride. McPhee will soon land on some soap opera or as a support act on a network drama and probably go the Hudson route (though she's probably not winning a oscar soon, maybe a AVN Award if we get lucky). If they saw Jordin as the more marketable one but knew Melinda was the best talent, they'd just have Melinda win it and star in her niche like Fantasia and push Jordin as Daughtery was. Blake will have some popularity in the dance demographic since he's so keen on that genre and has even expressed more interest in producing then performing and admited to using AI as a springboard to work with talented people.

I did miss that TNA-ROH war comment, which did lead to the confusion to why Intense was saying what he did. People have expected this "war" to happen for the better part of the last 3 years but it hasn't and I don't ever expect it too. TNA won't send it's big guns down to work these shows and those that they were, are already generally accepted by the ROH fanbase. ROH already did the CZW program and it was a big success. Doing another promotion isn't needed. Daniels was just using TNA to get heat at the show and possibly setting up a return with him and Whitmer if he should ever come back. Losing Danger, I think was worse. Not sure why she's being taken off shows. There is a great deal of talent she can manage and she can still be the Shimmer worker. I'd like to turn again and align with someone like Sweeney and Tank. She could also remain a face and reunite with BJ. S

I wasn't directly attaching that to you, it's across the board. It was really ugly when Low Ki and Abyss left and the Joe departure. Everytime some relative big name leaves, this rise of panic sets in with people even if its unfounded. They lose 2-3 guys but recover with a huge influx of guys coming in like Quackenbush, Steen and others. They aren't supposed to measure up to Angle and Sting. That's an entirely different spectrum. Those guys aren't ROH talent and ROH will never need them. They wouldn't be worth the high price tag attached to them. The reason I attached all those names is because that's the strength of ROH. They have a loaded roster that works well and attracts their central core and aren't with TNA. Meaning they don't rely on the star power of TNA.

Okay, you can add Allison Danger to the list of departures. Obviously, the end is here for ROH. Danger is open to the future but is gone for the time being.
