I think ESPN forgot the NL Central exists. It's Craig Biggio. He's played an entire career in anonymity. Of course ESPN knows the NL Central exists. Can't miss that in-depth coverage of the annual Cubs calamity and them gushing for Hamilton.

Not only a great chance to load up your collection of ROH but a great way to boost FIP and NOAH among other items.
-
Lohse had a great game and that'll get overlooked because of the dramatic finish but he's pitching like #1 starter right now.
-
The reality show curse strikes again.
-
Maybe people better start figuring out Hamilton now because he continues to crush homers and drive in runs.
-
Why did they wait two years between that episode of the OC and saturday to do that spoof? It was fine but quite random.

M.V.P?? To be fair, MVP wasn't a DSW creation. He's been bouncing around the indy circuit for a couple years before landing in DSW. He was horrid for a period of time until getting to work with talented guys improved him.

Some FBI agent or profiler said during a interview "He wanted to be famous. He got his wish. We shouldn't be showing these videos" and Anderson Cooper or whatever jackass it was stared at the camera for a second and had this Yeah, sure look on his face and muttered "We thought about that, but let's take another look at the video and see if you can extract anything else from it, a deeper meaning perhaps". The circle jerk from the networks is just sicking.

They weren't on the show. I assume to put over that they were still afraid of Snitsky.

Surely you jest. His ROH work with his "I'm straight edge and I'm better than you" straight edge heel work is some of the best stuff I've ever seen/heard. Of course it was a fantastic angle but it took a incredible foil as well. His Summer of Punk angle was much more subtle and perfect method of being a heel. Factor in what he was doing in OVW as well and you'll see Punk is just as good if not better doing this type of character rather then having to resort to the sXe angle.

I assume those that signed with WWE will be moved to OVW. Those not under a contract will just stick with DSW but WWE won't send new hires down there.

Thats just because your not dedicated. Orrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr he's not the kind of fucking loser that gets the likeness of a professional wrestler permanently drawn on his body. Oh, and "your not dedicated." Nice firm grasp on English you have there, Scroty. That does nothing to convince anyone that kitschy tattoos aren't the province of the bottom-feeders. I ment that in a sarcastic way. I'd actually be really scared if he got a pro wrestler tattooed on his body. This isn't cool?

NBC seemed to be almost bragging about getting the footage when I went past MSNBC. That's class.
-
I said this earlier but going through the segments again, I get that RVD vibe from 2001 with Punk. Obviously Burke is no Austin but the idea of a guy who in theory is a heel by aligning with the heel group but obviously over and playing it different from the other guys and becoming a natural charismatic leader by his presence alone with the actual leader growing more and more pissed about it. Only difference is that Punk plays it off better and we might actually see Punk get the last laugh with this one.

Blake is too early for the Daughtry exit. Another example of relaxed voter confidence.

Spike's a CBS partnered network. I'm not sure Spike would be happy with them working with FOX. They should try to get them to do stuff with CBS's shows. Have the Amazing Race people do a event with the wrestlers at wrestling school or build a ring. Little things like that. The people at House meant nothing by the scene really. House is always watching weird stuff you wouldn't expect a medical genius to watch (the man referenced The O.C a few times in the first season and WWE as well). I'm just impressed they found the right match footage to relate to the context to what the scene was about. That would suggest some one there is a fan.
-
What's really sad is that a tv show about doctors seemed to understand the appeal of wrestling more then this company does.
-
Will TNA make mention of their cameo on House? At the least they should say something in commentary. That scene exposed the name to more people in 20 seconds then TNA managed with it's own bungled marketing approach in the last five years.

Who are you talking about that you don't know? I'll run down every one I don't know as I scan the WWE homepage. Keep in mind I stopped watching regularly about 3-4 years ago Bobby Lashley Elijah Burke Kevin Thorn Matt Striker Mike Knox Armando Estrada Chris Masters JTG Kenny Dykstra Robbie McAllister Rory McAllister Santino Marella Shad The Great Khali Trevor Murdoch Boogeyman Daivari Dave Taylor Deuce Domino Hornswoggle (Looking at the photo did they copy the lame-ass WCW version of a rabid Irish midget? Good god!) Montel Vontavious Porter The Miz All of the Women that aren't Lilian Garcia, Torrie Wilson, Victoria, and Trinity. I also know Eddie Guerrero's widow by name alone and I'm curious as to what she is doing on TV. Umaga would have made my list if I didn't recognise him as a previous member of 3 Minute Warning. Burke is hardly jacked. He looks under sized anyways. Striker is short and cut but he isn't roided up. The High Landers are just tall scottish guys. JTG? The guy is about 5'7 and is skinny as hell. MURDOCH? He's Dusty Rhodes fat. Dave Taylor looks like my dentist. MVP is far from jacked. Estrada isn't even a wrestler, he's a voicepiece with no body at all. Khali is a 7'6 guy with a thick frame. Thorne is hardly ripped, just tall and thick. Miz is a frat boy, all of them look like that. Of that entire list, only 2-3 of them can be noted as a roid monkey. Davari is known for his incredible work-out system. Eddie's widow is there to keep a paycheck for the family. I don't think he was calling those people juicers, just listing who he didn't recognize on the roster. I'm aware of that. I was just elaborating on who these guys were and now they look.

That's the flaw for LaKisha. She wasn't blow out good tonight and she'll lose votes for it and others will feel she's safe and vote for others instead. We see it every year with a favorite having a off-night and loses mid-show because of voter confidence.

It's the best mainstream angle going right now not that the other two brands and TNA are giving much to challenge it. I was skeptical given the strange conclusion last week about where this was headed but not only do they have Punk shine even more by being the focus of two straight shows but the subtle actions he is using against NB will just get him more over then he was before because now he's adding a twist to his personality that wasn't quite there before. For the fans, he was just a guy with a cool look, a different gimmick and did cool kicks and strikes. Now, he's playing tremendous mind-games. This is what Punk does best. Even better then the sXe angles because this is less heavy but still delivers. Burke is a great foil and since Corvon is a blockhead, he doesn't get it. Thorne is too spaced to figure it out and Striker will overthink everything. It's too early to say they did the right thing but tonight indicates that they get who Punk is.

Two straight shows built around CM Punk? Awesome. Punk is rocking right now. His expressions were tremendous all night but none more so then the final look on his face sitting by Burke and the crowd starts to chant his name and he has a slight smile creeping over him before going back to Burke. I love the idea that Punk is basically letting the fans in on that he's fucking with the NB. Which will just lead to great stuff with Burke.
