I know they wanted to do the rise and super kick spot but if they really wanted to do the double pin, should have just done the suplex or chickenwing finish instead.

We've seen Shawn in a ladder match since returning and it wasn't pretty. It'd be a risk to do a ladder match with Shawn since people come to expect high spots galore with ladder matches now and that was far from what we saw with Ramon in 1994/5. There's a ton of people good enough to work with Shawn in a ladder match. Obviously in an effort to get that Hall type quality, its a bit more difficult but not as much.

God forbid they actually make room for a #1 contender who can still go in 5 years. I'd feel secure saying that Shawn is likely to be still working in WWE in five years time, Randy? I'm not as secure.

Benoit was supposed to drop the title to MVP but they decided to keep him on Smackdown. Looks like Orton will stick around as well.

Since I didn't watch wrestling back then (as I was under 5 years old) Did Piper ever do something like that for Piper's Pit? Yes. Also, Undertaker "interviewed" main event acts as well while heading that direction. Fairly sure Jericho used the Highlight Reel during his stint with the main event before leaving. This is just to set up a confrontation between the two.

Give Stephanie credit. Shane eats more air time then she does which is strange since Shane's always been so adamant he perfers to run the business side of things. Stephanie has made 2-3 appearences in the last year and hasn't injected herself as a regular character since her departure.

They can salvage that if they use ONS to do a one night KOTR tournament. Fits the name and it's roughly the same time period as the traditional tournament would occur.

Didn't Edge/Benoit do the double pin finish in that triple threat match that took the title off HHH back in 2004? Of course, a brilliant way to add to his title reign count. Shawn/HHH did the double pin on the last Raw of 2003 as well, I believe.

I'm fine with that, but I don't want to see Punk or Hardy (whom are the two main mid-card faces that I could see getting the KOTR victory) using a KING gimmick. I'd rather use the KOTR as a effort to put over a mid-card face as the "best wrestler" ala Bret. Not making the focus be two guys acting like Kings. Just Booker being upset about someone else taking the title from him with him being out.

I enjoyed the episode although I'm not a fan of Janice and she was all over this one. It seems that they will make a point out of how sloppy the kill was from Bobby. Nothing else seemed important enough to touch on, though other then that I liked the reference to Richie.
