I already miss Kenny's tribute to Owen with the pink tights but I guess he's paying homage to the 1998 Caution period.
-
No. The whole point is to put him over along with the title. You'll get laid before Holly wins the ecw title.
-
I'm glad they put over his wrestling career rather then his ring announcing. While he's been a important person in that regard, he needs to be put in for his wrestling career first and foremost. Ross walking with him for his ring announcing is a good touch and I figure it's a gold watch deal before they fire him again.

I know it's the usual Mania focus but it seems WWE is actually dedicated across the board to making the product better.

I hate to say this but this hasn't be a bad RAW at all. Solid open video package with Shawn's turns. Decent MitB qualifyer. Nitro snaps. Not too shitty Woman's match and a good brawl with Umaga and Lashley and Khali makes Masters his bitch and actually takes a bump.
-
Khali took a damn bump. I'm shocked they didnt do a deal with Khali being afraid of fire like Andre with snakes.

He's still getting roles and got good reviews for Gridion Gang and Southland Tales should do good things for his cred. He just made a mistake in takings gigs like DOOM.

It's a McMahon match. It's automatic garbage match.

Well, at least this isn't a bad ringside brawl. Only problem is maintaining it for another month.

We got a guy who has one facial expression of blank confusion and the other who random sticks his tounge out.

Trump isn't one for drama.

Punk inspired Jamal.

If we don't get an Ace Steel cameo, I won't be pleased.

I'm still wondering who made the suggestion to Vince that he should shave his head. Vince could use a trim anyways.

Sting was 18-5-3 with botched dropkicks in 1992. Explain the ties. Vader ate the legs, preventing botched dropkick succcess.

A FCA match between these two should be saved for Mania but since Ashley needs the Mania Playboy push, it's getting pushed up. Why can't Ashley just do a skit at Mania instead and get the same exact effect.

Deal or No Deal is essentially the WWE Diva Search Reject scrap heap anyways.
-
He isn't exactly an important person right now for WWE anyways. Might have something with Flair but I wouldn't bet on it. a Flair/Carlito Vs WGTT match wouldn't be a bad direction to go but they only have so much time to fill and that might not cut it.
-
While he isn't the best choice given that he's lost over 10 shots at the title but he can do brawls and since everyone else in ECW that has a pulse will be in the NB Vs Originals match except Snitsky, he stands a good chance of getting the spot simply for being a loyal longterm Yes Man.
-
Right now it appears we're getting a 5/3 heel-face match here with Matt filling the final face spot and Kennedy, Holly or Snitsky (since the match typically has a big man) and Orton. I guess being in the doghouse will keep Nitro off the show again unless they decide to hotshot the Foley program but given how down the company is right now on him, doubtful. Too bad Carlito isn't moving up since he'd be great for the MitB.

8 men isn't any different from the many 4 team ladder matches we've had over the years, including the match everyone here threw a bitch fit for getting taken away last month.
-
They'll have one of these guys along with Punk. I'm sure one of the other two guys will be a big bumper. More likely to set up a final battle with MnM and Hardys anyways. Since WGTT doesn't seem to be a great issue right now. I'm not terribly familiar with Punk's work outside of the E, but would he really fit the bill? He seems more like a mat wrestler to me with a smattering of "ooh" and "aah" moves to keep the crowd in it. Edge can work a ladder match, and I'm fairly sure Booker can hold his own (I don't remember him doing a lot of ladder matches and/or hardcore matches in WCW and apart from the brawl with Austin don't remember a lot of it in the E either). What big bumper would the audience buy in the MitB match? Maybe Kendrick or London? They'd have to drop the belts this week in order to squeeze in to the remaining qualifying matches. Punk worked 90 minute ladder matches all over the world and a great deal of hardcore matches and such. While his current gimmick doesn't suit too much, he's very much a brawler/high spot machine.

Kelly Kelly and Stacy Keibler.
