Right now, I don't honestly see "it" for any of these guys. Sundance needs to go but Simon obviously isn't allowing himself to be so wrong about someone, so Sundance sticks around an extra week. You always need someone the people hate anyways. Jared and the last guy look to have the most potential, Chris S. has the possible Elliott charisma going for him though. As for the girls and look concerns, Haley was cute but no one has that OMG I GOTTA SEE HER PERFORM appeal of seasons past.

Really odd, whom they are putting in the MITB. Aside from Edge whom has years worth of ladder matches including 3 @ WM itself, the rest aren't known for ladder matches or any stunt fest matches. While Punk isn't a stranger to crazy brawls (Anyone that has a brawl on stage at a strip club or in a blizzard knows how to work crazy matches) but he's built as the MMA machine. Orton and Booker aren't big ladder guys either. Granted, last year had Finlay whom isn't a big stunt match worker so it's not that odd but they'll need to throw in at least two guys who can take the big bump. I still say they should move MVP into the MitB and shift Kennedy against Benoit instead. It gives a better match and MVP can bump. It looks as if they'll do some tag match with MnM and Hardys instead, leaving the big bumpers out. I don't see any of the cruiserweights getting involved with the exception of Mysterio whom is a big enough name. Just curious who'll play the high spot machine for this match.

I guess Vince remembered that he was a Punk mark 5 months ago before Finlay and AA got paranoid and wanted to stay in HBK's favor after DX got overshadowed by Punk.

A super major draw in Mexico whom might get brought in to capitalize on the large hispanic demographic that SD attracts.

It seems they actually get Khali's appeal and have rightfully placed him as the Andre post- main event dominance period with handicap matches against jobbers. Khali probably is gonna give alot of indy wrestlers a payday for a few months.

No chance in hell. Not at Wrestlemania. You think they'd throw that Taker streak away just for the sake of Edge beating Taker who's already wrestled a match? Taker himself would tell you no. 'Taker? No. Edge pulling that against Shawn would work on many levels. Cena and Shawn go to a hard fight with Shawn getting the flukey finish. Crowd loves it, Edge interupts and kills that dream dead. Shawn gets his moment taken away in an instant (You could even throw in a cute "Now, he knows how Bret feels" shot) and it continues to build for the DX/RRKO feud when HHH returns. Sets up Edge/Michaels as the main program for a couple months instead of wondering what to do with Cena after that. That's actually an inventive good idea...WWE would never do anything like that, they also seem to have problems with heel champs leaving Mania unless they're named Triple H. If they'd did that spot, it wouldn't be the main event. Tista/Taker is the main event anyways. Open with the MitB match, put Shawn/Cena 7th on the card and since it'll piss the fans off, you'll need at least 2 matches as buffers or time filler before the actual Main Event. However, HHH leaving with the title was the right call still to this day. It was a risk but it worked but I don't think it works today or almost any other time. It's still a better idea than what they'll probably do seeing as Cena or HBK either one will end up working a program that is almost identical to one they already worked. Really, you just do Edge/Michaels while leaving Cena busy to mess around and finally get to that Kennedy program and kill time waiting for the next booking pattern.

To be fair, Edge Vs Undertaker should sell on its own. It doesn't mandate a streak-streak story to build it. It'd help for sure but I think it's irrational to worry about the "demise' of a potential storyline a year from now that isn't even in stone.

Pretty good odds. Kane and Lashley served as the big guys for the previous MitB's and I don't think Kane's getting a match at Mania at this point. Unless ECW sends Snitsky, I don't think we have many BIG MEN that could threaten for the title. I expect 2/2/2 for each brand as far as the MitB match goes (although it can easily be 3 men from each brand if they wanted to). ECW likely sends RVD and one of the NEW BREED guys like Burke or Corvon. I'll gp ahead and call that Kennedy and Mysterio take a spot for Smackdown. Leaving Carlito and possibly Shelton or Kenny for the final spot....maybe Khali for the novelty. It'd basically be RVD/Kennedy/Mysterio as far as legit contenders are concerned but you get a sample of high flyers and a possible big man.

Trump made a big deal of about connecting to the people. "What the fans want", and he understands the people and that's Mick Foley to a T. Foley is also mainstream enough for Trump to actually know who he was. I think it works better for Trump to be side by side with a common guy with success in the business world and a tough fighter then a roided up canuck no one ever heard of outside the wrestling world.

Knowing WWE, Trump turns heel and they all shave Foley's head (again). It's not like Trump really needs to worry about how the WWE fans see him nor are the mainstream really going to care that a egomanical billionaire screwed another millionaire in a worked storyline.

Jeff Hardy Carlito Crazy Flair Benoit Matt Hardy Kane RVD Sabu CM Punk Lashley Those are the top unbooked active babyfaces in the company right now not counting outside names like Austin and Foley (a good possibilty now that Umaga was named). Looking at that, only Kane, Flair, RVD and Lashley seem like the guys they would want enough in that spot and we know RVD isn't acutally a choice. Foley really seems like the only choice to go with given the history involved with Vince and being a fan favorite and is mainstream enough to carry this with Trump and Vince.

Good move Vince, for the next 40 days, you're gonna to use Umaga as a key piece of your mainstream push. Like Bigelow wasn't a joke enough.
