    Show's over

True, he has great comedic timing and such but any serious push forced him to be the "ARRGH!" giant that he really wasn't. Show is just like Andre in that he was a tremendously likable guy that seemed like constant fun even if he was/is in constant pain due to his discomfort of his size. People knew this as well, so it was a waste to build him as that monster heel and then turn the switch and make him the goofy face again. Kane, goes through this as well and he's a tremendous actor with the shit he's given.

    Show's over

He couldn't lose that weight because of the injuries. I doubt he'll drop to much weight if he's looking to pursue Hollywood. He needs to at least drop 75 pounds and get back to the thick frame he had up until 2002.

    Show's over

That brief period from Nov. 2002 to December 2002. Lasted 3 weeks, I believe. Transition champion for Angle to set up Angle/Brock. Edit: that was the WWE title. They are refering to the WCW reign.

    78. Ignore list. Part I.

I remember being on your list. You got a couple good people on that list, though. Bob's a douche, but he knows TV and indy wrestling(ROH, rather) enough but I guess it's hard to take him seriously. I like Marvin, even though I am particularly harsh on him. He needs tough love, is all. KKK and I fine, we come from Middletown, OH. You act like Buffalo is damn rough, try Middletown, OH. It's like living in Compton, if Compton had malls and franchises. We might be total opposites (and we are) still knowing they came up from the same place, keeps you closer. SMG is a quality poster but he does have tremendous psychological issues. A more tolerable and less trolling version of Czech but less laid back and collected Inc. LOTF is a mark. Pure and simple. That's his thing. He does step in the wrong places sometimes and gets lost. RRR, was a troll but he was more tolerable then LOTC. Mole, I dunno. It's sad to see everyone turn around and fall to their knees once finding out he was running this place (so to speak, though he isn't running shit). He was reviled before for a reason. I don't have personal issue with him, though. Snuff has a gigantic crush on me. The rest I don't give a shit about or never noticed before.

Casual basically means the people who watch it on tv, maybe order a ppv once in awhile but usually just Mania, Rumble and/or Slam/Series. They don't follow the industry like we do. It's just another television program to them. Die hard, doesn't neccesarily mean they are internet savvy, but just big fans, no matter what.

    Friday Night Lights...

It's about teenagers playing football. Of course they have to focus on their drama, and I think it's good TV. Julie-Saracen is awesome. I am getting sick of them winning every game with some miracle Agreed. Would it hurt to win a blow-out? If they are supposed to be one of the best teams in the state, they should have a cupcake team or two on the line-up. Use it as a chance to show Saracen stepping up and being the MAN for once instead of the hapless kid who lucked out.

    Friday Night Lights...

It's about high school football. How could you not involve the typical high school stuff? So far it's been 60/40 in terms of episodes dealing with football (the game , prep for the game, fallout and such) and the teen stuff. Luckily, the teen stuff isn't idiotic. The Saracen/Julie stuff is done well with Saracen not sure how to act (everyone tells him to be QB1 yet Julie doesn't care and knows that isn't Saracen). Lyla is overacting this but I think Jason is a great character and Riggins is pretty good at making you hate him but feel sorry for him. I love how they haven't gone the cheap route and completely take Landry from Saracen but I fear they will since it's the nature of that world. As a former player, I would like to see more emphasis on the practices, training and such but as a former player who also dealt with teammates sleeping teammate's girlfriends, the awkwardness of being the "myth" and the reality of being the "man" and the pressure the entire school places on you, I can get into that. Right now the show reminds me of a better quality One Tree Hill. OTH, was very similar to FNL but only with basketball. The first half of the first season was all about basketball and the town's expecations. It collapsed into that "Dawson's Creek" aspect and never really recovered but probably kept itself alive with the DC format. Lately, in the probable last season, they have decided to make basketball at least in the picture. Surrounding the constant deaths, murders, sex crimes, teen pregancies, teen divorce and all that fun stuff. I'll agree that if they keep moving into a full blown teen drama with the occasional football stuff, I'll probably lose interest even if it's been well written and acted as it has been. I think when they head towards the inevitable playoff run, football will be in the forefront again for the show.

    Friday Night Lights...

Another good episode, slightly below the previous two shows but I enjoyed the Julie/Saracen moments tremendously and I was glad Tyra and Jason didn't go too sleazy as I was worried. Nice to see just a straight bonding moment.

What's your fucking hang up on this stupid show? You seem greatly annoyed that someone ripped a gag game that those guys ripped off.

    NFL Week 14

I'll do it this week! Cleveland @ Pittsburgh -I thought the NFL network was trying to get people to beg for their network. This game isn't making me pick up the phone to bother some middle aged woman sitting behind a control desk at TW. Pittsburgh is a complete mess and Cleveland looks inspired, even when getting blown out. These two either play each other very close or it’s a blow out from the start. I don't trust Pittsburgh anymore and I know I'll regret that sentiment on Thursday evening but I'll take Cleveland by another slight upset. Cleveland 17 Pittsburgh 13 Indianapolis @ Jacksonville -These two play very odd against each other. I can never find any remote interest in these games. Jacksonville usually makes Indy earn it and for the sake of reducing the mess in the AFC WC picture, I'll take Indianapolis to play somewhat more inspired this week. Indy 23 Jacksonville 14 Tennessee @ Houston -Vince Young is starting to prove those doubters wrong with his performances. Houston is still a mess. I'd like to see Young maintain a lead for once instead of these ridiculous comebacks. Tennessee 20 Houston 10 Baltimore @ Kansas City -Baltimore got tremendously exposed last week and the score was only kept close because of a garbage time score and Baltimore's defense bailing them out yet again. KC is scary good at home in winter conditions. Baltimore got hit in the gut and will get knocked down again. Baltimore 13 KC 27 Oakland @ Cincinnati -Classic trap game situation here for Bengals. Big shutdown win against division rivals on prime time with the big MNF against Indy coming next week? Not to mention an extra couple days of lay-offs (and that produced another arrest, naturally). I'd like to say Cincy will smash Oakland quick to rest the starters for the next two games but it'll be closer then it really should. Oakland 17 Cincinnati 26 Philadelphia @ Washington -Philadelphia refuses to just do the honorable thing and roll over and die. Skins are probably the most confusing team in a long line of confusing teams. I'll take Philly in a typically ugly game just to further crush the hopes of that city when they fall down at 8-8. Philly 16 Washington 10 Minnesota @ Detroit -Any time you need to get things on track, you just roll into Detroit. You know what? Fuck it, Detroit will win this one somehow. Every week, we get a wtf game and I'll risk it with Detroit here. Minnesota 13 Detroit 16 NYG @ Carolina -More confusing teams, this time against each other. It'll be a battle of turnovers against stupid penalties. With complete hesitation, I'll take Carolina since Coughlin's meltdown will come faster with another inept game call. NYG 24 Carolina 28 Atlanta @ Tampa -No excuses here for Mr. Vick. It'll be close but Atlanta shouldn't drop this one. Atlanta 23 Tampa 14 New England @ Miami -Every QB has that *one* team that just owns him and for Brady, it's Miami. Miami will take a squeaker here. NE 14 Miami 16 Green Bay @ San Francisco -Ugh. In the NFL's efforts to make sure as many people watch Denver play, they forced my market to watch this game for no apparent reason. SF looks more alive around there and this could either be a 4 td game for Favre or a 4 INT game for Favre. I'll take both here. Green Bay 31 San Francisco 35 Seattle @ Arizona -Seattle continues their typically unimpressive season despite being 8-4. Arizona, keeps things right by playing like the Arizona Cardinals, new stadium be damned. Seattle needs to WIN here. Not another fucking FG. It's Arizona, here. No reason they shouldn't pound a couple extra TDs for good measure but they won't. Seattle 20 Arizona 17. Buffalo @ NYJ -Jets have the easiest road to getting trounced by Baltimore in the first round. I hope the Jets blow a game because they have such an soft schedule. I'll take NYJ here, though because...well...It's Buffalo. Buffalo 13 NYJ 21 Denver @ San Diego -I like LT. I like Rivers. I even like that curmudgeon running the team. I don't like the turtle that runs the other team, I don't like the 13 year old running around scared, I don't like the porn star back-up. I don't like the rotating door at RB. Who do I have to see every week on my television? Exactly. The team that will eat a horrible lost this weekend. Denver 17 (what else?) San Diego 34 New Orleans @ Dallas -Hey! A flex game that feels like a legitimate game of the week. Should be pretty fun and I'll take the hot Cowboys right now. NO 23 Dallas 26 Chicago @ St. Louis -Grossman is good for 3 INT's here even if the Rams aren't nearly good enough to honestly procure 3 ints. Call it a ground game and we'll get a fairly uninteresting win for Chicago. Chicago 14 St. Louis 9

Czech or Edwin, probably have large anthologies of dissertations on the social relevance and musical genius of Radio Head. As for Coldplay, who cares?

True. I mean, they are the O's. Still, I can't wrap my head around going to a game just to do what you can do at home, without paying for public transit/parking, tickets, concessions, and souvenirs. I can see where it helps for replays and things like that, but when it gets to the point where you're just watching a screen the whole time, you might as well create the ballpark ambience in your home: put some freshly mown grass clippings near your nose, spill cheap beer on your pants, and make some hot dogs. Save yourself the trip. What is deplorable about these new age stad...er..Ballparks/Fields (why are we afraid to call them stadiums now?) is that the entire place is built to distract from the actual on-field product. Why the hell do you need a damn swiming pool, 18 screen movie theatre, world-class restaurants, bowling alleys and live stage concerts? What the hell was so wrong about a simple GUESS YOUR SPEED game on the concourse?

He likes the cool graphics and the animated captures of whatever local franchise paid the rights to have their logo play a mock game of 'Run Around The Bases'. I don't blame him, watching the animated screens probably does provide more entertainment then the on-field product.

It was a re-run, probably to re-explain the leg injury since it'll be important in the upcoming episodes.

Go back to Hersey Park, Marv. This isn't a "Ron and Fez"(whoever they are) thing. It's an old game people have been doing for years. As for this, I think we all greatly underestimate the tremendous flexibility of these kids. Seriously, they fall off stuff all the time and get up and run around within seconds. You can't just instantly immobilize these fuckers. They have insane energy, which we can't remotely match after years of being broken down by the stress of life and probably drugging and drinking. Motivation also plays a factor, how long can we keep interest in killing kids? I'll say 30 is the right number.

    Christmas...

I think i'm seeing Ripper's description differently then the conventional way. There's wearing a collared shirt and sweater, and then there is the Kanye look which is what I wouldn't do. There's a distinction between each.

That's odd, Ripper. My girl always gets on me for being too dressy and wants me to just wear jeans and hoodies/shirts. Would I wear that outfit? No. You can look good without going all out homosexual.

Did you actually watch OVW when Heyman was running it? Yes. It was still better then Raw and Smackdown (which was mostly a mess from last spring til just this summer). The talent was obviously inferior but the product didn't feel like a mess as Raw did. The Punk/Albright feud was done fairly well, probably better then most of the main roster stuff was producing. He managed to make the Spirit Squad much more entertaining and there seemed to be a idea in place which made the shows roll through like well oiled machine, while Raw and Smackdown were stuck in neutral during this time period.
