I wouldn't lie, man. I was reduced to tears by this show. It really got to me.

He wanted to do WWE and PRIDE, figuring his PRIDE fights would give him a legit aura and his WWE work would get his name out. WWE wanted him all to themselves, so he passed on the deal. Yeah. It would have been similar to Rock's schedule before he left for good. Sapp goes over to PRIDE, does his thing where he is star and comes back to America and is a superstar for WWE. Instead WWE will probably let Sapp walk into TNA where they would more likely let him work in Japan along with the 3-4 shows per month. Sapp has this thing where he always says "he doesn't want to be owned by anyone" after what happened with him and K-1. That tells me he'll never work for WWE they essentially own everyone that works for them. Sapp is perfectly within rights. Unlike 99% of people looking to get work with WWE, Sapp is something special. WWE should have taken what they could.

They aren't going to finish a match with 3 faces.....especially when they want to push Test and Vince is pissed at RVD....... They probably are putting Punk in his place saying "you aren't a maineventer yet don't get these crowds go to your head". No. It was basically "Look, you weren't supposed to be this over, not yet. We've been shoving this guy down these people's throat's for months and we're riding this one as long as it gets us. Do your pretty poses, catch your pop and eat this job, rook". WWE blew it with Sapp. So what he wanted to work shoots in Japan, that isn't going to damage your HOME base. Instead, they were left with a 3rd rate Sapp, 2nd rate Monty Brown.

Please tell me these games get big ratings, somehow. I can't think of any pair of teams that constantly plays boring games on primetime. When games between KC/Cleveland feels like the SB compared to watching these two teams play, they really shouldn't be the prime time game.

The Big Show probably refused to work very long or take any sort of major spot seeing as all that gets talked about now is how fucked up he is. You'd think he'd want to do the opposite to prove everyone wrong. Why put on an effort when you don't need to? He IS a Hogan disciple, afterall.

Gotta wonder how Punk sees this. He spent the last 3 years working with intelligent bookers and after a couple months of hanging back and then gets put over big time by a very hostile crowd and was in fact over again tonight, he is pinned first. EC tends to have the over and popular guy go first. I believe Benoit and RVD did this as well.

I saw Souled Out 2000. I saw Bad Blood 2004. I saw New Blood Rising. I saw KOTR 1995, 1999 and 2000. Those shows didn't touch the levels of stupidity that this one did.

Punk is HUGE right now and the crowds love him, and you want to turn him and give him Heyman when he doesn't need a mouthpiece?

Punk/RVD would work, especially since Punk and Styles worked very well together and you can't get closer to RVD then AJ.

Wasn't it like the 2nd match of that night? I mean, MAIN EVENT. As in final match or the biggest hype match of the night. That's quite a stretch in this business without sniffing a main event.

He was pissed at RVD for giving him the gash in the back and knew that Heyman could get him the revenge he wanted. Also, has he changed his gear in the last 4 years? It's been purple forever. Is the first main event spot for Holly? (not counting rumbles)? Took him 12 years, Punk took 3 months.
