Which is good. Aside from the Hammerstein show, the taped versions (such as last night) were consistantly more sound. It fits ECW to be taped, as opposed to being live.

I wonder if they are building towards anything with Punk and The FBI. This marks the second week that they are involved in some way in a backstage. Since Moore has jobbed twice now to Punk, it's time for him to get the pink slip or become Thorn's servent.

Gas is currently $2.08 here.
-
I guess you muted the tv for Punk...

What is this obsession about Dupree and general gayness? Every 10 words out of you is generally some "gay", "homo" reference.
-
I do like that Greiner and Dupree, despite multiple character changes since the split of Le Resistance are essentially the same characters throughout. Conway, isn't much different. I can't tell if it's consistantcy or lazy writing.

Punk's interaction with FBI was the best part of that, with Punk's take to Kelly's proposition right there.
-
Great to see Punk get over in MSG, too bad it was with the worthless Moore.

"next" feud? Where was the first one? Credible's demand for a rematch and Punk calling Moore a poser both ended a week later, both with Punk getting the final word. This is third time Kelly Kelly flirted with another wrestler, pissing off Knox. No feud ever came out of those and besides, the possible stuff Punk can do with these two are tremendous. The idea of Punk stringing the dumb blonde along, making her think he actually cares about her is ripe with comedy gold. Punk, is very effective with characters like Kelly.

Somewhere in Florida, Sean Waltman woke up from the pile of coke on his table hearing that chant and asked himself "Are they chanting for me, dude?" and Scott Hall swiftly replied "No, Sean. You were dreaming of 1998 again. Or Maybe I was, I dunno. Move over".

Then Undertaker turns around from the driver's seat and says, "Where to Hunter?", laughs maniacally, and drives the remains of the limo off into the night. Hogan has to run a semi into his crippled degenerate ass first Then Randy runs in and RKO's Hogan and ties him to the rear bumper of the limo as it drives off. I'm starting to run out of WWE car moments. HHH going to pull a Shawn and "pass out" in the middle of the ring? You forgot about Kane crashing the limo into the trailer truck, setting off pyro. You forgot about Orton driving in reverse through the screen, setting off pyro. You forgot about Austin pouring cement into corvette, setting off pyro (Im sure of it)

Ya know, instead of redoing thier own same old shit, WWE should start tying up all those angles with no endings from WCW. Disco Inferno raised the briefcase. On a serious note, Im honestly stunned that he never got work with WWE. He's buddies with Nash and Stephanie seems like the type to love that gimmick.

TBS tossing Shawn through the sun-roof was great.

Unless I missed it, they once again ignore the Jericho/HHH HIAC.
-
Trish, is a rarity. For a wrestler to announce a retirement and you actually believe that they mean it.

I'm liking Mickie's tribute to Jimmy Jacobs/Berzerker.

Not even SC can get the MSG crowd to care about Masters. Compared to the six-man, this crowd completely died and went to get nachos.

Cable show, most certainly Raw would be the most episodic TV show on Cable history and if it isn't #2 period on all of TV it's damn close (with 60 minutes ahead). You also can't count soap opera. It's probably just for primetime programing. As for things like SportsCenter, I think that has to fall in line with regular news programing. Saturday Night did far more than Raw ever has, being that it's lineage stretched back so many years. The line is the official one, but it's not even close to being true. They used to keep redefining the criteria for trying to make Raw sound like it had done far more than it really had, but I guess they're stopping that and flat out lying. I think King was overzerolus there... He's spouting the official company li(n)e. That's where WWE gets sneaky, since SNL isn't a primetime show. WWE will always find ways to bend this exaggeration but it isn't completely off the charts.

This match reminds me of that great first half of 2004 that Raw had with the constant long multiple man tag matches. They really need to stick with the 6/8/10 man tags because it's very effective at pushing feuds without burning out money matches for PPV.

Hardy, as bad as he is doesn't come close to RVD or Sabu's standard of botching. RVD, is generally the biggest offender of botches. Sabu's botches are typically believable botches, RVD just whiffs dropkicks and other seemingly basic stuff.
-
With Hardy, it's really hard to tell if it was a botch or Jeff crashed on purpose. It can go either way with Hardy.
-
Hardy, tends to nearly die around Orton.

A couple weeks ago, I was talking about how a MSG crowd can really change a wrestler's outlook and direction within the promotion with a great reaction and Carlito is heading towards that zone right now.

I like that Jeff is wearing six year old merch.
