I can't believe Manny never had a MVP. Considering how damn productive he has been throughout his carrer and all. What's your take on the other awards? AL/NL ROY AL/NL Cy Young AL/ML Manager

Jericho, got on the wrong musical talent show. Rock Star, was better suited for him. Being a cover band frontman wouldn't disqualify him for that show. He'd been better off covering STP on that show then Lee Ann Womack.

You could always talk to me via AIM, I have special cures for those boredoms. Or not. I'm sorta the opposite now, I don't have a job (can you believe I turned down a job at a world famous porn store?), Im a full time student with classes that are cake for me but I agree that sports/fake wrestling in general are boring right now, and Im just ignoring live coverage of US Open since I can't swallow more Agassi stuff. I'm DVRing it and I'll just watch it straight on mute. This place is dead too, the gang war failed as expected and we're back to WP bashing. We're in a god damn circle.

She looked good. The star of the show is Carlton and The Queer Eye guy and I'm sure Cheech will be the fan favorite. Jericho really came off bad tonight, not just with the first performence but his banter was atrocious, he looked nervous and his wardrobe choice was straight from 1988. He wasn't in his element as this show is based on country, pop and old ballads. He'd been better suited for ROCK STAR since I think he would qualify for that show. Stacy was in her element with dancing, Jericho wasn't. Back to Sci-Fi movies and TBWE.

You don't have much going for yourself when you have a gimmick that consists of Stevie Richard's lamest gimmick and Shane Douglas minus the profanity laced worked shoots. -

Punk still has alot of issues with timing and by that, I mean his adjustment from marathon matches with the Joe's of the world, to 5 minute tv matches with journeyman low carders like Richards. He is starting to get the feel for the television aspect of the show as he is playing to the camera and crowd much more then he did at first in ECW. He still looks lost because he wants to tell a story and go 30 minutes but he has to remind himself that he only has 3 minutes, so he has to put the spots over in place of telling a story. -

I really thought Punk was going to do a modified Pepsi Plunge there. -

Hey, Stevie. A ROH match 18 months in the making. -

Punk ran out of bald guys to work in ECW (since Heyman is booked), I hope that puts Nunzio or Mamaluke in line. We'll get Doring, I'm sure of it. -
So, Ortiz being out for the time being is probably the move that voters needed to finalize the Jeter love and push him to the MVP.
-
Would it hurt the judges or the producers to actually do a little background checking because they keep going "well, you should front a rock band". I liked Jericho's response "Yeah, thats a good idea".
-
To be honest, I see Cheech Marin winning.
-
You gotta imagine Jericho is thinking "I performed in front of 100,000 people with Fozzy and rocked the house...and they are making me do country ballads. It sure beats jobbing to Cena again and again and again"
-
Jericho is out of his element here doing pop country, he needs to stick with covering Iron Maiden.

I think Brady read through the wrong bio. Jericho, looks like a 80's boy band reject.
-
I wonder how many bad wrestling puns Brady has in store for Jericho.
-
If it didn't involve Jericho, I wouldn't care about this low budget A.I. I still don't care but I have to see Carlton sing and dance again. I do like how they act these performers are really "big" names but aren't. That's XENA? Blonde works.

Out of curiosity, I'm watching the first episode of "Celebrity Deuts" for "WORLD WRESTLING CHAMPION" Chris Jericho. He still has the short girlish hair and is totally preppy. It's sadly hosted by Wayne F'n Brady. It also includes Little Richard, Marie Osmond and some producer as judges. This is like a low budget American Idols.

I'd like for the season to end with no more deaths, no sad song montage at the end and no scenes with Tommy having a staring contest with a bottle.

The character development of people such as Punk among others is pretty much the only consistant good quality from ECW, since the main events are about 45% in succeding in being worthwhile. Granted, 45% is a good stage as compared to Raw, which is floating somewhere in the low teens. -
I believe he was the sideline reporter, wasn't he?

One of the reasons to extend practice times for the teams, IIRC, they only been established for about a month at the most and not the mention the players were still learning the different rules in effect. Another problem were the team names! Birmingham Thunderbolts Orlando Rage Vegas Outlaws LA Xtreme Memphis Maniax S.F Demons NY/NJ Hitmen Chicago Enforcers Was anyone really ready to be a Maniax fan or Thunderbolts enthusiast?

true. You dont hear ESPN complaing about the AFL being on NBC do you? Vinces involvement immediately killed any credibility form the mainstream and no one gave it a chance Plus of course having WWF personalities at games didnt help either. Jr and Lawler (just briefly as he quit wwf in late feb) and Ventura as announcers was indeed dumb. Ventura wasn't a bad move as he is a good announcer and was somewhat credible to the mainstream and Ross, was an actual football commentator. It was the decision to put Lawler in there that baffled most and really hurt the product. Ross, was a curse because he represented WWF. They could have hired any college/pro announcer in the country and been fine but Vince chose to hire in-house instead.

Considering that Orton wasn't even looking towards the ring, I dont see how he was supposed to catch Jeff. Unless Orton was supposed to turn, but it looked more like Jeff meant to hit the back but missed completely landing by Orton's ankle. Orton's sell was cute though.

It was pretty much clear that Jerry took it and actually "donated" it to that charity. My assumption that he actually used the money for Jeanie's home and used the charity letter as a cover.
