It seems as if every selection knocks someone off my draft board but losing Rhodes really sucks. Not because I wanted Goldust, I already got a better dark character but Dustin Rhodes circa 1991-93 would have been aces with the Danielson/Malenko picks.

There's the first true dagger from Garth, as I really hoped Corino would make it around, I had plans for him (with Taz) but a tag team foil to MVC and Malenko were higher needs. Corino would have fit in perfect with the other brillant promo artists I have gathered. However, Corino has other great masters at the promo he could possilbly get paired against (Rock, Rhodes, Show). I really enjoy how diverse this round has been. It's truly the first round where people are having to reach out a little as opposed to the earlier rounds which were loaded with major names that you couldn't lose with. Guys like Corino, Muraco, Regal, AMW aren't major names in the grand scheme of things but they are really going to insert some depth into their respective rosters.

I should reiterate that I'm glad to see that he was willing to answer any questions at all for a message board, so thanks to scroby for setting that up.

He hasn't left the business all together. He wouldn't say something he'd regret. Wish he would've answered my question about his viewpoints on the negative perceptions of his careers and if it has affected his personal relationships and such. At least we finally know what really happened at the 1999 Royal Rumble match.

Well, in this particular instance it was the recently discussed GAB 92 tag tournament when he went on about MVC being underseed just like "U of L" were in some year.
-
He also has a fascination about seeds. He also likes to compares U of L basketball seasons to rigged pro wrestling tournaments.
-
I like that Bad News and Austin will be in the same group.
-
Considering his age and the battle with cancer, he could be doing worse. In fact, he was the last time he was hanging around.
-
It's been well established and oft-discussed, Shawn will not move to Smackdown.
-
HTQ took one of the very, very few major names left. No excuse for a legendary name like Thesz to still be around this late.
-
Way too many modern acts are getting picked over some major historical names. I get that it's mostly because of the lack of knowledge of those performers and that in order to build a promotion, you need to have some understanding of their skills and personalities. However, it's still surprising to see people grab these guys. Not that MVP is a bad pick, but just in relation to the ALL-TIME value of pro wrestling, it's not quite even.

Vickie said she would crown a Diva Champion during that skit where she compared herself to Moolah. That could mean another title or a KOTR type deal for the Woman's division. Once again, according to these spoilers It doesn't say she's sending a Smackdown woman's wrestler to face Mickie for the title. The Multi-woman match likely had nothing to do with what Vickie was talking about.

Only Cabbage would call a playoff team "jobbers". Only Cabbage would use that term in the wrong context every time. I'll give you a similar example that you're probably familar with. You are a fan of the Louisville Cardinals, as you have made quite clear. Their last championship was won in 1986. Who did they play? A #15, #7, #3, #8 and #11 before reaching the finals against a quality team. Why do you decry the merits of that 1987 Lakers season based on the quality of the opponent they were given, when as a die-hard fan of a particular college basketball team, you should know that the last measure of success included a run against what you would call "jobbers".
-
Backstage is Vickie with the SmackDown’s divas. She brags about how she has absolute power. She goes on to compare herself to the Fabulous Moolah and says she will crown a new diva champion.*
-
It also means a whole month of build for a wedding. Which means you can expect many horrible skits with The Rmy and Edge trying on tuxs, Chavo writing the toast and Vicki on her bachlorette party that'll end with the oily naked guy dancing.
-
That'll end talks of elevated talent. Cycle through Batista and Mysterio until Taker's annual absence ends. I'm hoping the Golden Diva thing ends up being a novelty trophy for Natayla rather then another woman's title.

It was the NHL game. WWE didn't stand a chance. Gas prices are high as well.

Almost everything with Delirious is worth a look. Find the KENTA match as well.

While I have really good personalities and charismatic figures from Piper to Taz, I still need top notch wrestlers. That will still be an integral factor for this promotion. In the previous rounds, I selected Bryan Danielson as the anchor of the Junior Division. With this next selection, I feel that I can let Danielson be the tremendous dick heel that he is because I have a great face counterpart in my hands. This guy really deviates from the rest of my field since he isn’t regarded for his charisma, personality or his flair. So, why am I taking this guy if he lacks almost everything that I have been adamantly in favor of? Simple, he can flat out wrestle as good as any one else can. That’s a huge factor. There have been numerous flashier, flamboyant and aerial performers but very, very few were as polished as this guy. With the 127th selection, I have added to this prestigious group, "The Man of 1,001 Moves" Dean Malenko

On the flip side, I'm shocked some people went as a singles wrestlers as opposed to tag teams.
-
In hindsight, I think Kane would have dropped to you.
-
Thanks. I was convinced someone was taking Crusher as a singles guy as KKC alluded to. I wasn't waiting. Now, I can pick up more quality singles guys and take what I can for the other two tag spots. There's a insane amount of tag teams on the board.
-
Many tag teams have gone off the board at a rapid pace; including 4 teams I really hoped to have gained. So, I won’t take anymore chances on a top quality team getting away from me. I can pick up two mediocre teams later but I need a true foil to The Miracle Violence Connection. Like The MVC, this team was very physical, rough and dominating with a take no prisoners attitude. Despite all of that physicality, they were beloved faces. This makes for an ideal counter-part and the top tag match of my choosing. With the 124th pick of the draft, I select The Crusher and The Bruiser!
-
That's slighty above being the cruiserweight centerpiece heel which was his spot in the company for years when he wasn't using Eddie in some form.
-
As long as WWE is seeing gains. As for how they can end it? Just set up the last night as the "Ultimate Chance" to give it a sense of finality.
