I like how sXer's think they are going against something by following a pre-set doctrine.

There's nothing unique about being sXe. That being said, I don't do drugs, smoke or drink.

Applebee's has a bad taste for me. It's closest non fast food joint by my work, and we often go there for meetings and such. I don't mind this place once or twice every few months, but it's almost a weekly thing and that's overkill. Can anyone really tell me the difference between Fridays and Applebees? At least O' Charlys has good rolls to start the meal and it has a green logo, as opposed to the nearly identical Fridays and AB's logo.

TNA Mark? I don't even watch TNA. I'm just smart enough to understand what makes money and what doesn't. Jarrett/Joe, doesn't draw. Sting/Joe, does.
-
Alright, the Johnny Drama/Ari stuff has been fantastic tonight. Return of Sloan, is a nice plus. A show based around calling your wife a cunt is a great show.
-
Not when it's a better match that will draw much, much more and actually mean something.
-
Sting/Joe, is the BFG main event title match. Not Joe/Jarrett.

That makes no sense. If they didn't want WWE on their network, why is WWE on their network? They broke into the NBC production truck? WWE made a deal with Universial (which runs USA, SCI-FI, Bravo and NBC). In order to get WWE back to USA...Universial agreed to give WWE SNME on NBC. They protested it right away and after the low ratings of the first SNME, they tried to move it to saturday afternoon. With these ratings, they'll finally have justification to move it.

I've been saying they need to cut down to 7 ppvs a year and have 3 venues (Orlando, Detroit and either New Jersey/Philly)... PPV's January: Against All Odds (I hate the Final Resoluton name) March: Destination X April: Lockdown June: Slammiversary August: Sacrifice October: Bound For Glory December: Turning Point

It was always assumed and talked about, but never confirmed. Was it confirmed? If so, thats great news for TNA. Orlando, is so played out and having Joe's title win in Orlando would actually dilute the value. BFGII needs to be SPECIAL and having the Joe title victory and a new PPV venue is a big way to do this.

Iggy, never pays attention to pesky details like facts.

Gotta love people throwing the word stank around. On what premise? That's she's moderately famous and successful? Is that the critera for stank identification? It's not like she has a reputation along the lines of Paris or even Madonna in her day. Grow up.

Chick Flick. How many girls want to go see POTC or Superman or Click. Plus Anne Hathaway has decent success. TONS

NBC, probably has a huge smile right now. They never wanted WWE on their network and they still had to resent Vince for XFL. Sorry Vince, you failed yet again. Are you ready to return to reality now?

Punk/Skyfire II, was pretty good stuff.

He only had three significant injuries (2002-ankle injury that took him out for 4 months, shoulder injury in 2003 and torn quad in OVW in 2004). He had lengthy stretches in OVW and he took a leave of absence for the Arnold Classic. He really only missed about 2 years due to injury.

Set changes aren't going to improve Smackdown's ratings.

It means you follow NASCAR. Maybe he just enjoys Gordon's sexy Pepsi commercials.

BFG is in October.

It would require WWE to actually have a idea of what they want for WMXXIII because they can't fuck around like they have the last 2 WM's and wait until January to get started. Granted, Smackdown had a mountain of shit that disrupted everything. They need to decide what will be each brand's represented world title and main event. You will need at least one ACE main event draw (and it probably won't be Austin/Hogan). Right now, there isn't much to offer as a big time main event draw. This would require a loaded card from top to bottom with purpose.

In what is expected to be final chapter of the very successful and critically acclaimed storyling between Ring of Honor and CZW, it's settled in CZW's staple CAGE OF DEATH. It's been an intense feud with incredible action, insane brawls, ungodly amount of bloodshed and it all finishes with dramatic and uncertain circumstances... Card preshow featuring graduates of ROH Wrestling School. ROHVideos.com Match 1). Seth Delay Vs Delirious 2) Tag Team Challenge Colt Cabana & Jay Lethal vs. Jimmy Rave & the newest Embassy member with Prince Nana & Daizee Haze 3) Pure Title Match Nigel McGuinness defends vs. Roderick Strong 4) Jim Cornette addresses the crowd. Topics include: A) KENTA B) If Homicide will be granted three wishes to be in Cage Of Death 5) Tag Team Attraction Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Irish Airborne 6) Special Challenge Match AJ Styles vs. Davey Richards 7) ROH World Title Match Bryan Danielson defends vs. Sonjay Dutt Intermission & Cage Of Death Set Up 8) Cage Of Death JJ Dillon will be in charge of the cage door as well as the coin flip to determine which team gets the advantage. Two wrestlers start for a 5 minute period. Then one team will get the advantage for two minutes. The next time will even the odds for two minutes. This will continue until all five members of each team have entered the cage. At this time the match will end with the first submission or pinfall. The match can only end when all five members of each team have entered the cage. The combatants are: Team ROH of Samoa Joe, BJ Whitmer, Adam Pearce, Ace Steel & a mystery partner vs. Team CZW of Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Necro Butcher, Nate Webb & a mystery partner ---- Essentially, COD is WarGames format but with a mysterday partner for each team. ROH has already confirmed it'll be Homicide in that spot if Jim Cornette grants Homicide's three wishes. Chris Hero, insists that he made a deal with the devil to get his 5th man. This isn't a loaded card beyond the main event and AJ/Richards but it's all about the main event. It was madness at 100th show and the environment for DBDIV will crazy as each side of the venue will be split by ROH and CZW fans.

Ring of Honor 7.15.06 "Death Before Dishonor IV"
Hawk 34 replied to Hawk 34's topic in General Wrestling
From Gabe on the whole TNA and Samoa Joe situation... -
I didn't say he choose ROH as in perfered them. He's working ROH to honor the deal and he won't fly in to Orlando. It's simply saying he opted to do the ROH show.

Yeah, except ECW rode on the back of another former old school worker past his prime seeking one last dance. So how the hell is Undertaker more ECWish then Flair is? Fuck, neither of them were "ECW" like. Undertaker is a overblown gimmick act, that was pretty much what ECW was changing.

I thought they should have placed Cabana in the COD and put Joe in the Embassy match instead. I get that Joe is a big name and he needs to "defend" ROH but you can't book a guy for a few minutes and let him take minimal bumps and then get taken out by his own "team-mate".
