I guess Sabu didn't like the idea of killing himself 3-4 days a week.
-
Why do so many people throw fits about hair cuts?
-
You don't remember seeing this guy all over the TV the last two years for 3 weeks straight?
-
Yep, it'll be used for a storyline/skits.

A race car driver, a golfer, and a horse? You're a dolt. The wrong race car driver at that.

I don't know why people would think Gretzky gets on there. Hockey was popular for about 10 years thanks to him. He is hardly an American icon compared to Robinson, Owens, Ali, Ruth, Jordan, Montana, Thorpe, Brown...

He didn't take painkillers with his fractured skull, a busted eardrum was nothing for him. Some people are capable of enduring pain. Punk's been banged up for 7 years now, his body is conditioned to absorb pain. I thought RVD once said that he doesn't use painkillers either because he was flexible enough to endure pain. Guess not.

It's not like Steve "Wifebeatin'" Austin wasn't pushed or even marginally penalized for his actions. Actually, Austin was already out of the company when the first incident happened. It's not like they needed to "punish" someone who wasn't even there. By the time he came back, the whole situation was forgotten.

You think this really bothers Vince? It doesn't, the only thing that will annoy him is that he'll finally have to prove the drug policy isn't a farce or decide that RVD/Sabu are above it. RVD is pushed a guy who likes to get high, so how is getting charged with possession going to hurt RVD's image? You do realize Vince has had former workers charged with rape, murder and various other stuff and he usually just brushed it under the rug.

Sabu stopped asking for more money. That made Vince happy.
-
Good one.
-
They will use this to push RVD even more. If they are willing to use Flair's road rage for a story, why wouldn't they go along with what they always have...
-
Sabu, welcome back to the indies. RVD, welcome back to the mid-card. Wait? you were already there? Well, at least you are comfortable.

You don't get it do you? Cena isn't turning heel any time soon. His current persona and postition with the company is the most over he has been. You want to take away a very complex character and story for a cliche heel turn on Hulk Hogan? It'd be the very makeup of every other Hogan storyline. People think Hogan/Foley is possible because it was discussed eariler this year for Hogan's program after Austin backed out. It's thought to be possible because aside from Cena...there is no one left who is a credible enough star for Hogan on a stage like WM. Foley is the only other person under WWE's umbrella near Hogan's universe as far as fame is concerned. There's natural beef between the two (Hogan blasted Foley on CNN a few years ago and Foley has said a thing or two about Hogan).

Jarrett isn't remotely close to being a bigger draw against Joe for BFG. You want to WAIT for the big money match? People have done that before and it bit them in the ass. It's not remotely close to being too early to "pulling the trigger" on Joe. Most promotions would have already put the title on Joe due to how over he is and how much of a star he is built to be. Why should Joe struggle? He is presented and brought as a unbeatable machine. You hand him losses even if just in tag matches, you strip away a key piece of his appeal. Sting Vs Joe is a bigger "dream" match for most fans these days because it'd be a better match-up. Jarrett isn't the true #1 heel. His heat is worse then X-Pac heat. Two hours would improve the show because the fast paced format forces them to cram 8 angles into a 42 minute time period. Ratings are up but the buyrates are down. People aren't buying the PPV's because all the angles are essentially rushed and they have no time to build them.

Aside from Cena, Foley and Austin...WWE has nothing left for Hogan. Foley is probably the back-up plan for WM23 since Hogan/Austin is about 10% likely at this point.

It's not illegal to wear a dress in public. You guys are paying too much attention to the pot issue. The real question will be case of the painkillers and if they were prescribed or not.
-
If it was Charlie Haas or someone, but RVD won't get canned.

I like how it's more of a promotional article for the show that night rather then a report on two wrestlers getting caught with drugs. It also treats wrestling as a legitimate form by acknowledging former title reigns.

Wrestlers who were really good in their first few years of wrestling

1). Everything you thought you knew, you didn't really know at all. Cryin' the blues won't get you nowhere. It happened, live and learn. It just wasn't your time. 2). That everyone will turn their knives in you, it's only gonna get harder. 3). iGeneration.

At my job, drinking would probably make them better employees. We should institute a 2 drink minimum for the entire sales department.

Yeah, that asshole. We need more Red Sox and Yankees in this game.

Regardless, people who are saying Brooke has no chance in the music industry haven't been paying attention to the music industry in the past 15 years. People like Brooke, even without the name get flash fame and a hit song or two all because of their looks. "About Us" is getting good airplay and video rotation, if Brooke and Hulk want her career to extend beyond just a couple of hits and forgotten videos, using her for a WWE storyline is a grave mistake. People are already having a difficult time taking Brooke seriously because of her last name, if she gets involved in a 'rasslin storyline it'll only confirm people's original thoughts on her.

It's not like real movie stars haven't left a franchise series before, have Vince "piss off" Hollywood by blowing off the big studio franchise for his smaller budget dream role...
