There couldn't be much of an undercard if that match headlined. Have the entire show be a qualifyer to enter the EC at the end of the night with Rey getting automatic entry. Booker over Matt Lashley over Regal Finlay over Tatanka Henry over Scott Batista over Kahli (by DQ) and throw in a CW for a buffer.

The establishment fears change and held AD down. That's why they kept the show on beyond what most getting the same ratings would have done. FOX did everything to get AD over but America wasn't ready for it.

It took shows like Cheers 3 seasons to get big ratings and after that, it was a ratings machine. AD got canceled because in today's world of television, you MUST get big ratings right away. It survived for 2 more seasons on the strength of the show and it's critical popularity. Ratings have no effect on the actual quality of a show like AD.

That is like hoping KFC will be extra greasy.

That's where creative shows like Entourage and Arrested Development come in. They break all the standards and reinvent the concept and it gets copied and some new scheme is created 10 years later.
