Isn't this like the 10th time Angle changed shows since the brand split?
-
Oh...interesting and it's a good way of coming full-circle for Angle.
-
Terry Funk had more top quality matches then most people could only dream of.
-
So...pretty much every top babyface ever? Gets his ass kicks and makes the instant comeback, hits the weak finisher and wins?
-
I like how in WWE-land, if you or your gf causes trouble...you get a push of sorts.
-
Nitro/Melina Vs Edge/Lita would be interesting. Who can out-sleaze the other team?
-
Well, they didn't waste time.

How would explain "Corporate Kane" in '99, the same year he had the relationship with Chyna? Corporate Kane is easy, it was the real kane that was being controlled by someone else for the first time other then Paul or Undertaker. This was a factor that lead Bearer to get the real kane back to him and lock him up again and used the injury excuse to bring in Cousin Glen Jacobs to take the role. Corporate Kane was such a small part that you can skip over it anyways.
-
I predict by midnight tonight, we will have all confused ourselves with the Kane storyline possibilites.
-
This time they can use real make-up for the scars, although the timing only fits for the fake kane to have debuted in 2000 during the Dallas 10 Man tag. As that was the first time he came back from an absence and that was when he starting wearing less and became more human. They can explain that the "real" kane(the actual fake kane) was re-locked up and Paul Bearer got Cousin Glen to assume the role, knowing Glen was focused and could be controlled unlike the "real kane".

How easily we forget Chis Kanyon and DDP although that was WCW of course. Except it was always clear that Kanyon was playing DDP. It wasn't a direct UT/UT 2 deal.
-
Except Coach said it was someone Cena has never faced...although it'd fit for Coach to be wrong. As it's already clear they are doing a COACH=INEPT deal.
-
I can't believe it even took 12 years to do another clone angle.
-
Test has a tattoo on the exposed arm I think, and he's pretty damn ripped Test is ripped but he isn't thick. There's a difference. The arms were each covered anyways, so the tattoo wouldn't be exposed anyways.
-
Perhaps it is TEST? Tall guy with no thick def and would need a shitty wig.
-
It could have been anyone wearing lifts, really.
-
Was that the closest guy they could get to looking like Kane circa 1997? Because aside from the costume, it wasn't even close. Kane II(ugh) lacked muscle def and the hair wasn't close. I'm guessing they came up with this angle 2 hours ago and grabbed the tallest guy walking backstage.

Exec Assistant. I guess they are going to stretch it out for the GM role or they'll just have Coach run things via McMahon's orders until Coach inevitably fucks up and Vince hires a real GM to handle business.
-
Yeah, it worked so well the first time.
-
You know, it was a pretty good old school IV Horseman style beat-down. You have to appreciate that.
-
Heh, I just realized this is the same city that took a giant shit on the WCW revival and probably effectively killed the entire angle.

The holiday shows are always interesting because they either pack it in or they really go all out because they try new stuff out because of the smaller viewership. So do they pack it in or try new things out?

You have to remember that Heyman is bringing in his ECW stars already, and he'll be using new fresh talents. Not to mention workers like RVD will be obviously jumping ship, 2 big names is all that Heyman would need. Heyman would explain that he has the new stars of the wrestling world signed "the talent the old dinosaurs missed"... explaining how Heyman discovered and made names out of Eddie Guerrero, Mysterio, Austin, Foley, Benoit, Taz, Sandman, Dudleyz, RVD and all those other big names from ECW and maybe he can even mention he discovered Brock Lesnar. Just establish that Heyman made the stars that Vince and Eric stole from him but this time Heyman will get those new stars and keep them. 10 picks isn't neccesary. They are going to build this as the younger and/or pissed off workers are sick of JBL/Rhodes/McMahon/Long and want to be a part of something that means something or given a new lease on life.
-
I'd like for them to make a "all wrestlers on Raw and Smackdown must attend the ONS event" ruling, so they can show a loaded roster of Raw/Smackdown/ECW. So the speculation increases as for who the two picks are. They need to deliver on the picks, and can't be people like Jeter and Scott. While those guys are good talents, you need to make an impact with names. How do they explain how certain wrestlers like RVD get to jump over to the ECW brand?
-
It'd work with the whole Paul Heyman is fucking with Vince ideal but since they made it clear that it's not a ECW vs WWE but just ECW as part iii of the company. So drafting Shane would be pointless. I expect Heyman to announce he selected his choices but would reveal it at ONS2. They will probably do alot of teasing and hints for this.
