Mike Knox would a weird release since he has become a regular in the last few weeks on ECW.

Who? Undertaker and Edge probably have another month or two left before that program gets dry but HHH has more options. The obligatory Orton rematch feud, Regal, Kennedy, JBL and of course, Cena for Summer Slam. That doesn't factor in a possible heel turned Batista as an option. 'Taker would have the likes of Show, Umaga and maybe even Finlay as options for this summer.

I agree to an extent. But even without the title he is always in the top feud. He is hardly the only one in the company given that treatment.

This will be his first (likely) extended title run since early 2005. For a guy who is a top player in the company, he has spent alot of time without the championship. He had to get the title back at some point.

How would that be? His promo on Smackdown centered around that he had every intention of making his presence known when he wants to and keep all the champions on their toes. Orton spent the whole night cutting down his opponents, so Punk puts Orton on notice.

Should they do anything to introduce him as a commentator? Such as a lead-in skit with Vicki bragging about acquiring another major name to the brand or Foley coming out and "kicking" Coach out of the desk? I just can't envision the show opening with Foley just sitting with Cole and merely stating "Hey, I'm the new announcer!"

Has there been any word about what they will do with Coach? Personally, I feel if they must retain him and keep away from the broadcast table at all costs, perhaps he should replace Estrada as the ECW GM and that could allow Estrada to return as a manager where he is better suited. Logically, given Coach's experience of being assistant to McMahon, Regal, and Bischoff as well as running Raw on many occasions, he would be quite qualified for the duty of ECW General Manager.

He has things on his mind.

In this particular instance it was simply a case of assumption rather then expressing desire because of the fact Kennedy is in dire need of direction and that is something a KOTR win can offer him. Kennedy fanaticism has waned severely since last spring and has been surpassed by other talents who have shown more signs of potential or merit.

Someone needs to do a promo putting over the importance of the KOTR and the legacy of former winners in The Hart Brothers, Austin, HHH, Edge, Lesnar and especially Mabel and Mr. Ass.

That list has to include ROH which is at the same level as the original ECW as well as being an title defended overseas. That would propel Samoa Joe and Punk to this multiple world title regin list.

For all his faults and obvious notes of decline, Ross is still much better then Styles in calling a big match. King, when he isn't playing to his gimmick can still show signs of the great commentator he was Styles has never been comfortable in WWE and that was the biggest concern when he came in. It's not to say he is worse then Cole because he isn't. Adamle has obviously done commentary before but not live wrestling commentary. If Styles asked to be moved out, they would have placed Grisham for the moment, putting Adamle in suggests they were looking to see what he could do. Styles would be more beneficial to the company by doing studio stuff for 24/7 and DVD releases. We should have this moved to a separate thread since this discussion isn't pertinent to the intended thread topic.

Styles has always been vastly overrated but the notion that they'd rather move him from the table then Cole whom hasn't improved a bit since he started in 1999 is insane. Taz/Adamle seems like a really strange pair. It just seems they would have someone in the back in the form of a non-active wrestler or agent that would be better suited for the table then Cole, Coach and possibly Adamle.

He came out with the other wrestlers for Flair's tribute but since WM and I believe a couple weeks prior to WM, he hasn't appeared on Raw aside from a taped promo.

So, they'll give away a PPV match for free? That's quite TNA.

Umaga always puts on a good show in IC title matches.

Uh, it usually is.. Booker won it and went on to a World Heavyweight Title reign and the awesome as hell King Booker gimmick. It may just be that something's just not clicking in my head about the lineup next Monday, but it seems half full of people that have no need of it. But that may just be me. Sadly, I missed the King Booker gimmick while away. Umaga, Punk and MVP have much to gain. I would doubt that Show, HHH, Shawn and Batista win this.
