  1. It wasn't a rumor. Foley confirmed it in his blog.
  2. Considering Foley hasn't worked as a heel (other then his very brief heel run in ROH, that didn't go over as well as he hoped) since 1998, and there he was a sympathic heel. Foley loves the cheap pop and his formula, he must have something up his sleeve. I just can't see him pulling off a heel turn going against Edge. Edge is WWE's biggest and best full blown heel.
  3. He has zero creative control and is virtually an mouthpiece for the promotion. Gabe completely runs the creative side of things. ROH doesn't need Cornette but he's an welcome addition to the roster for the CZW/ROH storyline. TNA needs a facelift in the on screen management position, but don't place Cornette on the booking team. He'd actually fit in as he's old school like Jarrett. TNA has a problem, they rely on Jarrett style booking by using ROH's template. Cornette wouldn't fix the problems, he would only augment it. That being said, Cornette is a master promo machine and he can do anything. I perfer he skips the masturbatory anti-wwe promo because it's already overkill.

You need to learn there is a media world beyond ESPN.

I graduate from college this week!

I took a whole year off between high school and college and I can say it was probably the best choice I made. I worked a full time job in between and got a good handle on the real world and was able to mature. In fact, going to college doesn't seem to serve purpose at this point. I finished last week for my first year and I did well. I still wonder if not transfering is something I will regret. I still haven't selected my major yet, but I have been leaning towards English (despite what it appears here, I am a good english student) or Business. I took classes this year that would work for either major, but I need to straighten up and decide this year because now I have to get my path set. I learned that I'm better at the regional commuter branch, rather then the main campus. I think I was too distracted at the main campus and going back home allowed me to focus on my work instead.

    NBA Playoffs 2006: Conference Semifinals

Detroit over Cleveland in 6. -Too many people are calling for a sweep or 5 games but I actually think Cleveland will get an extra win here but I don't think it'll be a even competitive series. Probably the worse series of this round. New Jersey over Miami in 7. -I just have this feeling Wade has troubles during this series and that his injury issues rise again in the post-season. Dallas over San Antonio in 6. -This is Dallas at it's most crucial time. This is the best time for them to take a run for the title. LA isn't there, Sacramento is gone and SA is vulerable and Dallas has its best team yet this season. Dirk is a machine. If they don't take the conference this season, I don't think they ever will. LAC over Phoenix in 5 -I can't believe the Clippers will be in the Western Conference Finals. Also, side prediction...we will see eight OT games out of the 4 series.

It looked like James was Viscera-izing Jones for a minute there. I love when players have those 2 second "okay, how do we celebrate?" moments and they all shrug and go "jump on him!"

All LeBron has to do is go towards the basket and the wizards part like the red sea. So Lebron is the second coming of Moses. Malone? No, there's only one.

    TWIB #5: 1 May - 7 May

That's not an excuse. Subtracting Lee from the lineup should not cause the team's batting average to plummet this drastically. This isn't The Derrek Lee Show here. Check this out, it's a novel concept, there are nine players in the lineup who have jobs to do, and they're not all doing them. When Juan Pierre can't get the ball past the second baseman, Jacque Jones is making one-pitch popouts, and Ramirez is swinging for the fences and missing, how is that tied into Derrek Lee being gone? It's not as if he carried the team on his back when he was here. These are supposed to be talented players. They should be picking up the slack. Like I said before, this was going to be a test of character: they could either try to compensate and increase their production in Lee's absence, or they can say "oh noes we can't" and fold. They're either trying so hard to pick up the slack that they're not thinking, or they're folding. Any way you slice it, the Cubs are playing bad baseball, and I don't know what it's going to take to smack them out of it. That doesn't mean anything. We're living off that sweep of the Cardinals. It's been sub-.500 ball if you subtract that series, and we're in a downward trend. Also you have to factor that being one game over .500 isn't good when you compete against four other teams who are also well over .500. One game over .500 might be good elsewhere but in the NL Central, it's not good.

    Finals Music

It's the end of the school year and all of us(mostly) college students know about the gruesome agony of the night before the finals. I usually just shut out the world around me. I put the away message up, I mute the tv if there is some sporting event on that i need to keep tabs on (the nba in this case), turn off the lights, light a couple candles and put on some quiet but not too quiet music. Problem is? I'm worn out of my "study" music. What you people use for this type of situation?

    Ring of Honor 4.28.06

No, they have no plans to return to Maryland. ROH tour stops are NYC/LI/NJ/CT/Dayton/Cleveland/Chicago/Detroit/St.Paul/Phily and over this summer, the UK as well. They mentioned adding new markets early this year but aside from the return to St. Paul, they haven't announced new markets yet or even indicated they are going to at all. Maryland is a pain in the ass as far as the commission is concerned and I'm not sure if gabe or cary have a license in Maryland anyways.

    House

Also, if Epps doesn't get at least BSA nomination from the Emmys, he will be robbed. He has been criminally underlooked as an actor for years.

    House

I think House noticed the other side wiggling and figured it out there. I was expecting the paralyzed thing as well after he came out of the coma but I think the whole "switched sides" thing is much more intriguing.

ECW Coming Back Full Time in Sept

I was warning about the news that there was a title change. Even if it was the most obvious title change situation. Some people here can get OVW on TV. This won't be on DVD anyways.

I like how Barkley just slams Washington right away, while the rest of the media are or will be going "LEBRON IS THE GREATEST!". Sir Charles points out the obvious "Yo, that is a really bad defensive team."

I mean they just left LeBron wide open enough that he could have easily tossed the ball into the net but he saw the wide gap and drove it in. Smart heads up awareness from The King.
