I was calling for Ken Doane to main event Mania before he even debuted and despite the gimmick, I still think he'll get there. He's everything they wanted Orton to be except for the name.

It's impossible to get an ECW atmosphere in a large arena. The compact nature of Viking Hall, Hara Arena, Elk's Lodge, Mid-Hudson Civic Center and Hammerstein (among many) made the crowd even more intense. If You had the same 2500 inside Wachovia Center...it wouldn't be remotely the same.

It also took place in Columbus. A venue that hasn't been the best crowd and is historically a mark crowd. The promo would have gone over better in the northeast or Chicago/Detroit/Dayton.

I think Jay Lethal might pull this one off, especially considering they made a point to emphasize that Lethal is NOT representing ROH. Some skeptics still belive that Lethal's "firing" was a work for the CZW/ROH angle.
