    WWE Raw (4/7/2008)

NCAA ratings have been low for the entire tournament and I'd imagine the poor games on saturday didn't help interest all that much.

    WWE Raw (4/7/2008)

He's likely to move to SD, so they'll let him squash people until the draft and then get things moving over there.

    Random Thoughts 3-27-08 to 5-28-08

What happened to Josh Matthews? I thought was a pretty good young announcer. They had someone that would've done well for the future and yet they keep him on the internet show.

    WWE Folder sucks dick

Oh, I hope we're going to get to ask Al Snow questions. He'll do anything for attention, even a Q&A on a message board.

Potential Big Problems for WWE Worker

Just when he was getting a push. I'll be honest, Knox would have been very low on my list, not because I wouldn't believe it but like Havoc said "Who is Mike Knox?" WWE actually lucks out that it's not a major name. They can cut him and find another 6'6, 270lb guy to fill in.

    Shawn Michaels/Batista Program

Ric Flair was a close friend and mentor to Batista. Batista didn't want to see his close friend be forced to go home, thus, he feels Shawn should have laid down for Flair at WM. This has been a fairly well crafted angle at this point and I only hope they don't get too out of hand with it.
  7. Usually at this time of the year, WWE likes to bring in new guys and release those who are considered dead weight or people that they have no plans for. It's never a good thing to see someone lose a job but it's the nature of the business. Who do you feel is at the most risk to be released from WWE? Who do you think is ready or will be coming up anyways?

The Departures and Arrivals of WWE

If WWE were to finally get Mistico, he'd get a pretty good push out of the gate and would sustain that. He'd be over big with the kids and has an obvious draw already.

    Random Thoughts 3-27-08 to 5-28-08

The promos will be loaded with insider lingo that 90% of the fans won't get and the match will be average at best. However, it's one of the few things HHH has left on his plate.

Those two would work better with the title not being in the way. JBL being in the match to keep HHH from taking a pin from Orton is the right route to go. That could easily allow Orton-HHH one on one for title to continue to build.

    Random Thoughts 3-27-08 to 5-28-08

I'd hate to be a skeptic but there's only one reason for JBL to be in that match. The poll last week had me hoping for a 5-6 man match (a concept they have done well at booking over the last couple of years). It'd allow for Orton to pad his credibility by beating 4 or 5 other guys or saves face by losing his title without a direct defeat.

Who Are the Legends of the Wrestling Industry?

Did you miss every Flair promo in the dying days of WCW?

Who Are the Legends of the Wrestling Industry?

In fact, those five guys are known outside of the wrestling world. People that never seen one minute of professional wrestling have heard of those 5 guys. You'd have to seen some wrestling in your life to know the name of Shawn Michaels, a wrestler named Sting, or Dusty Rhodes.

The Departures and Arrivals of WWE

It'd be a hell of a task to get Joe out of that big contract.

Who Are the Legends of the Wrestling Industry?

You have to include Andre with the true legends group. Right below those guys are the likes of Sting, Michaels, Rhodes, 'Taker, Foley, Bagwell, Cena, Hunter, Goldberg, Lawler and Warrior.

Call me crazy but if Harris drops just a few pounds, he could make for a good old-school style partner with Haas.

    WWE Smackdown (4/4/2008)

What kept them from doing a double count-out right from the start? I didn't have a problem with that match but I don't think it should have been the main event.
  19. Hawk 34

    Shawn Michaels/Batista Program

If this match goes down next year and I've been a supporter of this idea for awhile, I think it shouldn't be centered around a championship match. I think this match should be big enough to sell on its own. This would also allow for two other big title main events likely one would be Edge/HHH for the World Championship and perhaps Orton defending the WWE Title once again against someone else, perhaps CM Punk or some other elevated face. You throw in a UT/Shawn match which should be a given for next year, I think that gives WWE a pretty good series of main event matches.

    WWE Smackdown (4/4/2008)

This might seem like a far-fetched match but in the interest of extending each program, but would anyone else like to see a double title match between Undertaker/Kane against Chavo/Edge at Backlash? Perhaps, even putting the tag titles on The Guerrero Family. I like M2M as champions but that doesn't mean they would have to split as a team as a result.

Is Miz the only person from this mess of a show to have any success in life beyond clinging to this thing?

    Upcoming Scott Keith Q & A Session

Which young performer (in age or exposure) do you feel offers the most for the WWE in the long run? Mr. Kennedy, MVP, CM Punk, Elijah Burke, DH Smith or other?

The Departures and Arrivals of WWE

Bryan Danielson is built in the same mold of William Regal and Chris Benoit. I'm not a strong believer in the belief that Bryan Danielson shouldn't go to WWE because his style doesn't suit the WWE. The same was also said about Punk in 2005 before he made the decision to leave the independents for sports entertainment and he has clearly done well. Bryan Danielson has proven to anyone that pays attention to his matches that he has fantastic in-ring charisma and intensity. Will he win fans over right away? Not likely but it's been proven in the past with WWE that they can pretty much get anyone over and a guy like Danielson would get over quicker then most people would be willing to credit him for. Danielson is not merely just a purist but a complete wrestling performer. This is a guy who can have tremendous 7 minute brawls that are equally as good as his 60 minute matches. Danielson also doesn't get the proper credit for his ability to cut promos, which he has improved greatly at in the past year. At some point, Danielson will either have to leave the business as a whole or head to WWE. He has the right people there that would go to bat for him from Shawn, Regal, Punk (whom has gotten other people hired on his recommendation) and I would imagine Triple H would really like his old-school style, something WWE is lacking right now. WWE had interest in him before he became the world class performer he is right now and an improved promo guy, it wouldn't be a stretch to imagine they would welcome Danielson. I should probably include my feelings about who will be getting their walking papers soon enough from WWE. I wouldn't expect a large number of names since they have fewer deadweights right now. For the purpose of convenience, I'll separate them by current brand. RAW Charlie Haas -It’s quite apparent that WWE has no interest in reforming WGTT once again, which is probably his lone attribute he could offer. He lacks personality and despite various attempts at different things, he hasn’t managed to catch on beyond a heat performer. While JTTS are very much needed in the company, Charlie Haas, to me, is more expendable then he’s worth keeping. The Highlanders -It’s not just because Robbie appeared on TNA TV (although that didn’t help matters any) but these guys have been directionless past their initial amusing debut vignettes. Their work in the tag team field was hardly noteworthy. I’m not sure that Rory could be used as a singles performer but it would seem wise to cut them each. Their spot on the Raw roster can easily be filled by a new team out of the developments. Ashley -She is a horrible performer. She has already frustrated the WWE on a number of occasions and most importantly, she already posed for Playboy. Unlike Candice Michelle, she never showed the desire to improve and apparently, to eat. She’s not worth keeping. They hire new girls all the time, no reason they wouldn’t slide a new blonde girl who can do the same act. Maybe the new girl will make an effort, probably not, though. Smackdown Dave Taylor -He is listed a roster member even though he rarely ever appears on TV. He’s mainly in FCW as an agent/trainer of sorts. He’ll still be a contracted employee, however. Torrie Wilson -I never understood how she survived so many rounds of cuts but given her present injury issues and that she appears to have concentrated on life beyond pro wrestling (which is a wise move), I’d have to imagine her time in WWE is nearing an end. Domino -D&D is another team that doesn’t have much going for them aside from their valet and they never caught on. Deuce could get another opportunity as a repackaged performer with an emphasis on his father, although that’s just as likely to fail as this 50’s gimmick did. Domino has nothing to work with. He has very limited skills, no noticeable personality and no meaningful need to be kept. ECW Balls Mahoney -Completely ignored since the Miz/Kelly saga reached a conclusion and it was a surprise he lasted that long anyways. Balls showed signs that the WWE crowd could stand behind him during the aforementioned Kelly angle but WWE failed to notice or care. Boogeyman -He was released once and the only reason he was brought back is because Booker T pushed for him to be brought back. Of course, Booker is gone. Why isn’t Boogeyman? The fact they haven’t done anything at all and he wasn’t at WM from some reports completely shows he shouldn’t be on the payroll any longer. It’s almost seems they haven’t released him out of spite. Kevin Thorn -He makes a bi-monthly appearance on ECW in a jobbing role but since the vampire gimmick was stripped, he has been shown as a fairly bland performer in a spot that can be filled quite easily. Lena Yada -Who? Yeah, that was my reaction as well. She’s listed on the ECW roster. I remember her appearing in a dance off but nothing else. Is she the interviewer? I haven’t noticed. Unless she’s spending time in FCW becoming an amazing worker, she should go as well.

    WWE Draft 2008

Why couldn't they just remain on screen siblings? They don't have to continue to be paired up on a regular basis but why do that Majors Brothers routine? Eventually, people forgot Molly and Crash/Hardcore were cousins once it was no longer a relevant character point for those involved. The same would likely occur with Paul and Katie, should they stick around. I just don't think they need to do a pointless thing like that when just like with the Majors, no one cared.

    Wrestlemania XXIV Discussion Thread

That's true, which is why the pillow fight fiasco took the spot at WMXXII. I still don't get why they insist on having a playboy theme match every year. Can't they still promote it without having a shitty match involved? Just give it a backstage skit.
