Edge=Ron Artest. I'm really shocked Vince never did anything during the whole Artest constroversy, anyways. MnM's absence from the card is really mind boggling. I figured they would at least do a six man against Kristal with random tag team at the very least. Considering they have been so high on Melina, and MnM were main eventing SD's just 2 months ago, they disappeared fast.

GMU, is the closest school to Indy isn't it? That'd probably be key reason for giving out the most tickets because you can get more travelers from D.C area to go to Indy then you would with LA, Florida or Baton Rouge. That reminds me, If GMU wasn't already the feel-good story... You know that it'd be all about LSU with the obvious Katrina references.

The whole thing starting in January was an awful sign. Jesus, Batista's injury REALLY fucked things up. It was probably going to be Batista/Orton, Rey/Benoit(Eddie tribute match) and Angle/Taker. I was still holding out hope that theyd give it to Rey and demote Orton to the US title scene I really doubt they had confidence in doing Rey/Batista as the WM match. Rey, is more realistically capable of winning a 3 way then a straight up match. The good thing would've been, seeing if they were stupid enough to keep up with the "Doin it for Eddie" stuff, when the last weeks of Eddie's life, Batista and Eddie were on screen(and off-screen, according to reports) close buddies. Orton/Benoit would have worked as well. Of course, they choose the worst avenue.

Hopefully, they added a #1 contendership for Mania in the Mexi-Cools/Kash and Noble match. I doubt they will even get the heat treatment.

Really, at this point...Angle has to win the fucking match. Carry it until Batista returns and build up to that mega-match at Summer-Slam. Throw Undertaker pt. 3, the novelty Benoit short program and that should hold things over for Batista's return in June. Mysterio, enough was a stretch as world champion but when he jobs out this much and looks like the ultimate pussy, he really can't be taken seriously. Orton, is Orton.

This will probably spawn a number of copycats in about 2-3 years that completely fail to match it.

Shit, where are they going with Tatanka here? He's getting a push for what reason?
-
Just give them 20 minutes this time, and all will be right over the BFG fiasco. I just think a cage would interfere in what would be a great match.

It reminds me of Summerslam 2000. The main event was bulit around the Triple H/Angle/Steph angle and Rock was in the match simply because he was the WWF Champion. However, people actually cared about that match and it pretty much became another Rock/Triple H match after Angle was knocked silly. Well, Rock still had beef with Triple H during the time. They just so happened to have Angle/HHH as the main focus. Angle, has no issue with either man. He really isn't needed for the whole thing, the champion shouldn't be a third wheel or the afterthought. They should have just slapped the title on Orton instead once Batista dropped it. Then, have Orton start the Eddy mockery (which WWE was going to do no matter what) and then have Rey win the rumble, only eliminating Angle instead of Orton. Angle, with a nastier streak then ever could have challenged Undertaker and they could have done Angle/Taker for Mania. Instead, we get Angle stuck in match as a third wheel and a idiotic casket match (the casket match, almost kills any upside that Henry/Taker had). Politically, I wonder if this could have gotten done. Taker is very protective of himself and his WM streak. While it would've fulfilled Taker's wish to have a memorable, kick ass match at Mania, I'm not sure Angle would've been down to job the title to Taker and I'm not sure Vince and Co. would want the belt on Taker, post Mania. Still, that said I'd much rather have seen Taker/Angle and Rey/Orton than what they've booked now. No, I was just saying put the title on Orton and let Rey win it at Mania. It wouldn't be any different from what we have now. In my made up thing, Angle never had the title because Orton won the title instead. Angle just challenges 'Taker to prove himself or whatever. Angle, would job to Undertaker no problems asked because if it went like NWO did, with with Taker winning instead, Angle still looks even.

Well think about it, songs like "Walk the Line" has been covered many times. There's multiple versions to draw inspiration from so they can switch it around. Using songs released in the last 6 years, where there's not likely to be covers yet makes them uncomfortable changing it. Also, we're still used to the regular versions.

I guess the fact, amazingly enough as Chris pointed out Creed's Human Clay which has What If? sold 11 million. Wasn't convincing enough to be americanized.
-
Okay, I'm not feeling any of this from Katharine.
-
Creed is too "hard" for AI? Jesus christ. He should have done My Sacrifice instead.
-
I was right, which isnt a surprise.
-
Chris, finally admits the Live love.
-
I'm pretty secure in my expecations that Chris does a Creed song but I'm not sure about Katharine.
-
That's something to mention right there. Where and what the fuck has Junior been up to since all that happened? Weren't you paying attention when Bobby and Chris confronted AJ? They said Junior is still in federal lock-up.

Mandisa, just raised the fucking platform to unreachable levels for everyone else. (to jump off). I just did not like that.

I think this might be Taylor's best performence yet, it wasn't earth shattering but considering how different it was from the other song selections tonight. Did Randy and Simon do a double turn?
-
I'm betting Taylor busts out something unexpected like Jay-Z or something. Well...okay? What?
-
I can't think of anything in the last six years for Taylor to pull out.
-
The judges are just dropping the hammer on these kids tonight.
-
Ace, with a good song selection that fits him.
-
Geez, the judges are pretty harsh today.
