The Minneapolis bracket will be harsh.

Huskies Vs. Great Danes. Cute booking, NCAA. UAB/UK...hmm
-
I am going ahead and calling Kent St over Pitt.
-
This, is one wacky bracket. I like UCLA... but this looks like it has upsets all over
-
'Zaga/X? I'm floored and going bonkers.
-
I like Iowa, out of this Atlanta bracket.

Anyone see the guy on Penn who basically went "FUCK!" when he saw he was playing Texas, while the rest were like "um...Yay!"
-
They should make it seem like an event, instead of three middle-age guys sitting in a studio and just making the announcements. CBS is too boring and traditional to make this show entertaining because they know we will watch anyways. It used to be you'd have to wait until your local paper the next morning had the brackets filled out or sit there and write them down as the show went on. Now, ESPN and the rest will have the printable brackets @ 7:03 PM ET.

No surprise with the #1 seeds.
-
It hasn't happened yet, but I'm going to go ahead and say two things 1). Fuck you, Packer 2). Fuck you, CBS for dragging this shit out.

Sports are dominated by Texas? Texas Western is the only team from Texas to win the national title in basketball. Yeah...but Texas did just win the NCAA football title, Houston did make the World Series last season, San Antonio won the NBA finals... Texas has kind of controled the sports world lately.

What's good about knowing the last two games don't really matter is that there's no last minute worrying if a bubble gets burst by a junk team winning the tournament and forcing a last minute change. Right now, I'm sure the field is locked in as the final games shouldn't alter the field.

I spent the last couple of months rewatching the first five seasons and I have to say I am pretty excited about this "extended" season... I didnt like the long break, season 5 was kind of a let down but I think season six will be much better.
-
I do think we will see one major "screwed" team not make the tournament and everyone will bitch about out for three days and forget they ever existed once it tips off Thursday. I still don't think 'Cuse's "miracle" streak can last much longer. I say they get the #5 seed and break through the first round but goes out the second round. We will see aT least one #1 seed out of the tournament after the first weekend. A cutesy mid-major reaches the elite and has the nation behind them but a major team that no one really cares for squashes them. People will bitch about busted pools but secrectly love the chaos that comes with the tournament.

Always go to your local indy record store. They will take anything and usually give you a fair deal.

As long as we are on tipping, what about other services? Like for instance, I actually went to one of those cheapo hair-cut places (I get 4 cuts per year) just the other day and I felt the lady was good convo and plesant (of course, she had pictures of her kids on her little stand area), and the haircut came out pretty good (although, you can't screw up a hair-cut that easily). I paid the the bill and I wondered.. "Should i throw in an extra couple bills her way? is this allowed?", by the time I had reached down in my pocket to retrive the extra change...she had already turned around and walked away. What about the car-washers? When you go to one of those fancy little auto-spas, I usually throw them a couple bills. What about Valet parkers? They drive my car around a lot and park it. Why should I pay him $ because he did that?

The biggest name to hit ROH yet.

He did appear as NWA Champion, and only three days after getting the belt. This lead to a minor booking change, as he faced Paul London for the Number One Contender's Trophy, and London was meant to win, but Styles couldn't get beaten anymore. They did a draw instead, and London was awarded the trophy with the reason being he was higher in the Top 5 rankings at the time. That's interesting. A good thing to point out, is that LI was a smart location to have Cage's first and only appearence because it has the reputation as ROH's most markish location. -
Depends. And the Golden Corral in Middletown, Ohio, has people bring you drinks (Goddamn do I miss that place -- GC, not Middletown). If someone brings me drinks, I usually leave a tip. Other than that, I don't, although I should since people are clearing tables. And for the record, I'm a great customer because I never leave a mess and have all my plates/etc. neatly organized and ready for quick removal; I HATE families that have several brats who make a mess at their booth and only leave $1-2. Here's another question -- do you just leave tip money on the table? For me, I always include it on the credit card, and if I have to give cash, unless there are no customers in the immediate area, I give it to the waiter/waitress. The reason for this is one time I busted someone not employed with the restaurant taking my tip money off the table. That was a fun moment. I had lunch there yesterday. I usually hit that specific GC twice a month, the others around here are good but not as good as the Middletown version. Can't say for sure why that is, because service is about the same all-around.

This, isn't the biggest name to hit ROH. It is one of the bigger names, in terms of his status, however. AJ Styles appeared in ROH as the X champ (and I can't say for sure he did as NWA Champ either because I dont know TNA's lineage too well). However, Christian isn't just some person. He IS the NWA World Champion. Kobashi still remains the biggest name to hit the ROH ring as of right now. The sales of Joe/Kobashi proves this. Christian, most likely will face Daniels,Homicide or Shelley. He won't be losing this match and I'm sure TNA wants him to work TNA talent. If Abyss and ROH were still on good terms, I could have seen Abyss use his MITB style contract to challenge Christian for the title in ROH. Of course, it's not a big money match that TNA is holding off. Good news for ROH fans and good to see Christian, stepping up and be willing to test himself against a very vocal fanbase. Matt Hardy delivered and I think Christian won't have a problem either. -
Not knowing, anything usually helps your chances. The less you know, the more you can trust your gut.

We should probably just do a simple Yahoo pick-ems pool.

It's like they want to make the road easier for Kellie and Ace. "See, they are good looking but not really that great. So keep voting for the less talented singers, so the average but still better performers lose".
-
It doesn't make sense to re-perform the same song that essentially eliminated them.
-
Paris+Melissa? Ugh. They, really are pushing Kellie and Lisa now. Katherine, is still easily #1.
