So if they give you a shockingly good show, will you be disapointed that it didn't suck? Of course, this show will be a failure and will only cement WWE's status as a joke even more. Granted, 8:00 on saturday on the #4 network, isn't that much better then 8:00 friday nights on the #6 network. WWE will go all for it and that isn't a good thing. The original plan was supposed to be Cena/Edge III and Angle/UT III (for 06). So what happens? Boy wonder gets into his usual habit and they decide to go with Shane/Shawn instead and toss the 5 main eventers into a pointless handicap match. When instead, they should have done Angle/Taker Benoit/Lashley/Rey Vs JBL/Orton/Finlay Edge/Cena(non-title) Triple H/The Big Show Two hot matches involving the champs, a blow-off match to showcase "The King of Kings". A SD six man to push three different feuds (Benoit/JBL, Rey/Orton and Finlay/Lashley). Toss in a quickie Woman's title match(Trish Vs Victoria) where Mickie finallys snaps and turns on Trish. Cena gets a strong victory over Edge (who at this point, couldn't look any worse) Angle/Taker goes a stong 20 minutes with a non-finish to save IV version at Judgment Day in a I Quit match. Throw in the apparently neccesary Boogeyman skit, find a spot for Shawn/Vince and that would have been a better show.

Notice what they are doing? Putting ppvs at venues they don't often go to. Smart move because the traditional venues are probably not going to draw as much.
-
He does excel in, promos. Probably one of the top five in promo talent in all of wrestling. His ring-work isn't perfect or pretty but he can do a bunch of different stuff.

2 pages were mostly double posts.

If Gonzaga blows this game, you'll see a few pissed and scared bubble teams.

Who are you betting on for the Sherri induction? If they wanted to play up the Bret/Shawn tension...then Shawn. I doubt Bret, would stand for that. Dibiase would be the most probable choice.
-
Sherri, was mentioned a few weeks ago. No surprise. Austin, was probably the best choice for Bret, after Benoit. Austin and Bret are close friends and it has the obvious chicago connection to their legendary WM13 match.

You know, the guy has taken 12590 chair shots to the head in his career. What will another one do at this point? Some one should take out the knees instead.

I heart Maria. I'm sure, Punk doesn't mind being held down by WWE right now.
-
Yeah it was part of her spiel to throw off an unsuspecting HBK so she could drug him. Speil? What did she say? I'm pregant, blah blah, i want to start things over. I'm sorry for my father and brother's actions, I hope you can forgive me for the things I've done. Then, she acted like she was sick... Shawn, being the christian he is, took her to a chair and went to get some water. Stephanie roofied Shawn's bottle of water. Shawn comes back and Stephanie walks away.

That would be fine, if they weren't given shitty gimmicks like S.S and Eugene.
-
Eugene, trying out for the squad could be interesting.
-
Two of those five guys, could main event WM in five years if they werent saddled with this gimmick.
-
Shawn's just pretending Shane is 9 marines in Syracuse right now
-
Lawler: Shawn, you are on drugs! Shanw: You got that right. Showtime baby.
-
Yes, we were just waiting for a Torrie face turn
-
He's going to wake up tomorrow morning in the middle of nowhere, no pants, and his hair's going to be all stuck together. Flair: I call that Tuesday.
-
I'm shocked that they didn't make a attempt at going towards a "Shawn is the father" storyline
-
He's over and he can take one big bump. WWE also wants Flair to get the IRS off his back, so giving him a WM paycheck is neccesary.
-
Meh. TBS-Kane Vs Carlito and Masters? Way to make Carlito look worthless for not getting in the match he set up.
-
His brother, is a contestant. I missed the introduction segment, did he say he was 'nunzio of the WWE"?
-
He did step up as a heel, but it was marginal improvement and it was a case of too little, too late for him to really anywhere in ROH. (Although, he was pretty good at T.T Wars 06 with Danielson against Gen Next) ROH usually cycles the roster around, save for a few usual suspects. Lethal, wasn't doing anything to warrant being on the roster. He cuts an even worse promo then Roderick Strong and that's bad because Lethal is supposed to be a cocky arrogant heel and he can't do that on the promos. Roderick Strong, is in the mold of Dean Melenko. He does his talking in the ring. Lethal, can get over as face because he has that natural babyface charisma but that is extent of his strengths.
-
Hoffman, has been in so many good movies. It's scary.
-
Jay Lethal, I always considered over-rated. I actually never cared for Tony Mamaluke, Sal Rinauro, The RCE, Adam Pearce, Chad Collyer and some others. ROH, just happens to use some of the better talents out there. Granted, there are some out there that should be in ROH.
-
He got the big push, because he is a very good heel. He was still learning the craft of working heel but he really found his niche later in 2005.
