Stacy Keibler on Dancing With the Stars Finals Tonight
Hawk 34 replied to Fro's topic in The WWE Folder
Any hollywood job is more credible then working for Vince McMahon's carnival. Also, just for further proof. I read these pieces Stacy is getting in the media, very little "wrestling" jokes, if any. Even The Rock got "Rock slams Hollywood" stuff, It's like the public doesn't even associate her with being a wrestling personality. That's the telling sign, credibility from the mainstream media. -
Bobby is out and I loved that delayed reaction. "Oh, awwww"

Brenna: Tease+Drama=Interest Becky wasn't the hottest. That was Katherine.

The right time? How can this not be the right time? She's at the cusp of legitimate mainstream credibility, she's getting noticed all over hollywood with scripts and offers going her way. Credible hollywood career or working for the circus? That's a tough choice. -

Not that great, but I "credit" that with WWE's shitty writers. Stacy, probably could work with better writing. -
Is anyone actually going to bother watching the whole hour? I will, just to get another dosage of Brena/Katherine. Katherine is wearing shorts. Brenna isn't working for me right now with the are. So the final 3 are Kinnik, Brenna and Becky. I'll be stunned if Brena goes here. Heather was worse then Becky, Kinnik just didn't have a good enough look. I bet most voters instantly rejected her. Okay, Becky looks and was better then Heather. AI has 2 cute average blondes already, give us the average brunette instead! BECKY IS OUT!

I thought my horrible "comedy" piece, clearly indicated it was a live viewing. "I'll arrange it".

No one is going to look at a gimmick spokesperson and decide "yeah, he can carry our movie". There's been exceptions before, where actors get noticed via a commercial and got them more work. Jared, isn't an actor. He's a spokesman. DWTS is a highly rated show, Stacy was on the front page of today's USA TODAY edition. DWTS draws a audience triple the size of WWE's and it's not a cross-over effect. Wrestling fans aren't drawn to the show and "dance/reality show" fans aren't drawn to Raw. Stacy will probably be forced to appear @ WM in some hokey skit involving Spirit Squad unless she is willing to risk breach of contract. Also, unlike those other stanks in WWE (Sunny, Sable, Chyna, Torrie...) Stacy was smart enough to stop dating worthless wreslters and attached herself to a young rising actor. -
Also, I predict someone flirts with batting .400 but ends up with .379 instead. I'm not sure yet, but he will play for a non-contender.

And the Smackdown ME for Mania is...
Hawk 34 replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
Actually, the real problem is that Rey is more then likely headed to Raw in June. (and we all know wHHHy). I can't even begin to express how monumentially stupid it would be for WWE to shift it's #1 star and biggest(ironically enough) ratings draw for Smackdown, just so Trips can do his thing. -

I agree, Angle has been wrestling for about 1 1/2 straight now and injuries are piling up like crazy. Angle going over Orton (who takes Rey out of the Mania match via a flashy and "omg" spot). The wrestling machine in Kurt Angle takes care of Undertaker and Benoit. When Rey, back from recovering injuries sustained from the match claims that during his time away, the hours spent in the hospital that "Eddie spoke to me and I realized, I couldn't win for Eddie, because I needed to win for Rey Mysterio. I am challenging Kurt Angle for a re-match, and it's going to be for that world championship, and it's probably going to be my final chance to prove myself. I'm not dedicating this match to Eddie, I'd do him more proud by winning that title, for me and these fans. No one believes in me, and that's ok. I guess, I can't blame them, but at Judgment Day...I'll prove to the world, just like Eddie did, that I am a champion and I will become the champion. I'll prove it". Angle, who is a complete tweener, plays the whole "I don't like this, Rey is a good guy. He has a family and I understand how he is dealing with his best friend, but this? This is business. My business is wrestling and I am a wrestling machine. Once I get in that ring, my friendship with Rey is tossed out the window. My sympathy for Rey, ends when I get inside that ring. Rey, he can take you to the limit, but he will not beat me. It's True. It's damn true" card. They main event J.D, which goes 15-20 minutes and they perform to their usual ability. A hot finish has Rey pulling off the victory in a semi-fluke finish (roll-up style finish but not quite a cheap one). Rey gets the big celebration, his family is there. Dean, Chris, Psicosis all come out. Angle gets the title back 6 weeks later on Smackdown. When in GAB this year? If its in July, you could give Rey a healthy two month run and still have Angle get the belt back early enough before Summerslam. I edited in the GAB stuff before you posted, but yeah I figure J.D and GAB are about 6-8 weeks apart. It's a healthy reign for Rey, who shouldn't go longer then 2 months and it's time to give Angle rest. -

Batista returns around then, challenges Kane to settle that "you injured me" angle @ GAB. Angle celebrates and Batista comes out, looks at his fallen partner and walks up to Angle(Holding the belt)...points at it and makes the "that's mine" motion as the show goes off air. -

Stacy would be stupid to stick with the WWE. Unlike the other divas who got some media attention (Sable, Chyna, Torrie, Candice), she did it in a clean fashion, doesn't have the stereotypical WWE diva look (implants) and she has a personable personality. She already had bit parts in movies before DWTS and she's getting alot of attention the public light at this moment. I'm not saying she'll be the princess of hollywood or even get The Rock's level of popularity but she could easily find more work and not demean herself to working for a low-rate business like the wrestling business. She gets to keep her name as well. -
Ashley? She's been getting a push and she only has a one year contract anyways. Scotty, Holly, Stevie, Venis-aren't going anywhere. I find it funny that after 10 years of waiting for the contract to expire, Mark Henry will probably just end up staying with the company. Although, laying down to the 'Taker @ Mania and leaving the company shortly after that seems to be a tradition (Snuka, Roberts, Bundy, Diesel, Sid).
-
Not a chance. He'll likely come in as a face against Shelton and calling him out for using his Mama to win the title and then they'll slap Haas/Carlito/Shelton/RVD/Masters/Kane MITB for Mania.
-
2 girls and 2 boys are kicked off 2moro. I think they keep going until it reaches the final 12 (6/6). And then one person each week from there.
-
Stephanie: Oh! Look Paul, a liftime voucher to Popeye's chicken Thanks SHELTON! Here, have another IC title reign. You earned it.
-
That, I actually believe. I can't wait til that baby comes and we find out who sucked up the most and brought the most expensive baby toys and stuff. I got my $ on Kane.
-
You...want to see that team back together? First of all, they are actually good workers. They aren't doing anything with them as it is, so either can them or re-unite them.
-
It seems like there was a stronger interest in the girls then the guys, at least here. I only wonder why...
-
Johnny: Hey, Kid! Who let you back here? This is wrestler's only. Are you another one of Flair's Illegitmate kids? London: No, I work for you guys. Johnny: Oh! Are you one of the new junior wrestlers? I heard alot about you, great stuff. London: Actually, I've been here for 3 years. I was your Cruiserweight champion, tag team champion... Johnny: Cruiserweight championship? Tag team championships? What? Look, do you want to see Torrie's boobs? Gimmie $10 and I'll arrange it for you, but stop making stories up. We already got a hollywood staff doing that.
-
Ha. Like Johnny Ace would speak to London.
-
I can't see Vince wanting to give Regal/Burchill time on WM. Maybe as a 4-way but I'd rather just see Benoit/Finlay or Benoit/Regal. Besides, I got the impression that it'll be Lashley/Finlay anyways.
-
That sounds about right, although Ace probably will get the Constantine push and I'm going to say despite the lack of hair, Chris is this year's Bo. Taylor, is an original.
