He's also interupted shows and public events, the CZW/ROH stuff is just starting. "Shutting down the message board" is just an effective way to get each side of the feud involved.

There was a line?

I am still waiting for Gibson/Benoit. Seriously, it's not like Benoit hasn't worked velocity before. Just give them 12-15 minutes and you'll get alot of traffic for WWE.com.

Turns out it was just a sprain, he will continue working through it. As for Roderick Strong's nick-name, it works in ROH because they have made it a point to showcase his love for backbreaker moves but in TNA? He might bust out a backbreaker once or twice at the most per match. The idea is good, just not the execution. Messiah? That's a savior, backbreaking savior makes no sense. Call him the "The Back-breaking machine" (or robot, rather) at least it makes more sense and fits with the context of what the nickname is supposed to mean. I have already spoken my sentiments on the Samoa Joe/AJ/Daniels thing. AAO should have been the finish. He beat both Daniels and AJ, twice in singles action and defeated both of them twice in 3 way dances. In what way has AJ and Daniels earned yet another opportunity to beat Joe, after 2 failures to do so. Forcing Joe to face them again and this time, in the field of the UX, which obviously puts Joe in a severe disadvantage would have to indicate that the TNA championship committee is desperate to take the title off Joe, by any means. They should expand on this. AJ and Daniels keep getting opportunity after opportunity to take the title from Joe. I'd like to see GenNext make a point about this and say that TNA management is holding them down or something along those lines. Have them interfere in the UX match and "help" Joe win the match. Setting up a six man between Joe/AJ/Daniels (unifying to stand up against the young punks getting involved in their business) against Gen Next at Lockdown. All the while, Jay Lethal is quickly making a statement to be a worthy #1 contender for the X title. The point would be that Joe, distracted by dealing with his usual foes (AJ and Daniels) and the annoying Gen Next trio, he overlooks Jay Lethal and underestimates him, leading to Lethal to unseat Joe in a fluke-but not quite finish. Good to see Killings get pushed now, as they are heading into prime-time, Killings can be a good vehicle to get behind. Machete is sticking around? Ugh, I was hoping it was just going to be a one-time thing. They could even have different people rotating in that spot, having a bunch of guys trying to earn stripes with the LAX, but none of them quite get the job done...so Homicide suggests "him". Konnan is strongly opposed to "him" to being a part of the group, saying he is a loose cannon and can't be trusted. At D-X, in comes LOW KI who murders Daddy James and the James Gang. I loved how the report said "Aries and Daniels, was a dream match come true", when they have worked already, not just outside TNA but IN TNA. (Remember Aries debut match?) Why is it that Monty Brown can squash no-name jobbers but Joe had to run through the entire X ranks virtually eliminating everyone already? Who is TNA's biggest jobber? Roderick Strong or Abyss? I wonder how long they will keep the contents of the tape a mystery. If they can avoid spoilers about it getting out, it could create some additional interest in the show.

The hair is making sense now. Also, I agree that the new ceo and TNA management telling the workers to get their own gimmick or niche is a great move. The best characters in wrestling are the ones that are basically extensions of the wrestler's true personality or when a wrestler has full control of his character.

Yeah, Hart attacked the Bulldog during his title match and Bulldog challenegd the winner of the SS95 match between Hart & Nash Wasn't there a promo from Bulldog sitting by a christmas tree with Diana and he talked about Bret and his 'box of shattered promises' or something? Or am I thinking of something different? Anyways, I love SS92 for the historical factor and It was the first match that I can really remember rewatching over a dozen times. For a long time, I considered it my all-time favorite match. That being said, I still perfer IYH95 over it from all angles except nostalgia. Also, I actually perfer the finish to SS92 over the usual "finisher wins match" result, especially in a match where the story was that both men threw everything at each other and Bulldog, was forced to put aside his usual strong suits (strength and power) and had to outsmart Bret to beat him. Much better that way, then Bulldog finishing him off with a running powerslam. By locking him into that postition, he proved to Bret he could outwrestle him. It was much more effective that way.

Explain.

Can I pretend I never read anything Promoter said? Why are people excited about this? When Warrior gets inducted into the HOF, thats news. Bret and Vince have been breaking down the walls that seperated their respective egos from sensible business practices for the last year and a half. This was only inevitable. Good for Bret that he'll get his chance to say thank you to his fans and congrats for Vince for finding something worthwhile for his little weekend in Chicago. As for the induction? Austin (one of his close friends and last great moment in WWE came with him) and Benoit (family friend who has obvious connection with Bret) are really the only WWEized options.

If messageboards have proven one thing...

Nah, I'd say having the girl being away at school on Valentine's is worst. Being single's great. And some girls are just ripe for one-night stands tonight, as well. If only I wasn't stuck at school till late tonight.. That is the worse of the two, hands down. When you are single, it's no big deal but if your girl is away at another school or whatever, you just really feel more alone that night. Talking on the phone is nice but it's not quite the same. -
Here is the point of this holiday, use me for an example. I sent a couple roses to two close friends of mine this morning with little notes saying "happy v-day". I'm at work and I was heading to my lunch break when one of those aforementioned friends surprised me and took me out to lunch, paid and she tells me "take the rest of the day off", I wasn't an idiot. I called in work, told them the situation and my boss basically said "what are wasting time telling me, go get you some" and you can figure out what followed. The point in Valentine's day? Do something requires very little effort like buying roses at the local florist and sending them to two close friends, and you'll be rewarded very nicely. It's an easy excuse to get laid and make the girl feel special. Explain to me how you can complain about this holiday? Even if that situation didn't occur today, It still wouldn't be a bad day because like you I got many txt messages and e-mails saying "Happy Valentines" and the guys at work all bring in candies that they get from the wives and dump it out on a table. Valentine's day is only miserable if you make it so. In reality, it's just any other day.

Wouldn't surprise me if these idiots did a 4 way for this title instead of the title that needs to be a 4 way match.

You must read DOI. The heat had already died down from the ROHBOTS, anyways about 2.11. They are gearing up to push the CZW/ROH war into full blast right now. To say they did this to stop the "bitching" is a really far-fetched idea. Considering the heat was immense sunday morning, he would've done that then.
-
It really didn't take long for Gabe to do something to make ROHBOTS forget about 2.11 While Gabe can't live up to hype, he sure can book an invasion angle.

If anything, Joe shouldn't move onto the NWA title until later this year. I would have saved the Ultimate X match until the summer against some new people instead of the same old AJ/Daniels. I would keep Christian as the champion as well, and either have Joe lose the title but not the match and still remain "undefeated" and build to BFG with Christian knowing it's the hardest fight of his life and Joe is still the same Joe. Joe wins but Christian puts up a good fight. They could take the title off Christian around early summer and put it on a mega-heel not named Jeff Jarrett and Samoa Joe does a face turn and leads to the super face Joe killing the mighty heel to take the title.

I didn't think this warranted a new thread but the ROH BOARD shut down because it was "hacked" "The Administrator has chosen to close this forum with the following reason: Get a life you ROHbots. What are you going to do now with no message board. Check out CZWfans.com for a real promotion. You never know where I'll show up next. Your buddy, Chris Hero"

Get a job with WWE, you fit in.

--Some notes from last night. Austin Aries blew out his knee when it buckled underneath him when Chase Stevens did a shooting star press to the floor. Apolo no-showed, so they used a guy named Ricky Vega as Machete as his replacement. Sonjay Dutt was also knocked silly during his match. from Meltzer. I guess Apollo is on his way out now.
-
Having Joe lose the title without giving someone that rub isn't the right move. Unless they want to build him towards the NWA title still undefeated. Having AJ/Daniels do that just sets the company back a year, it's time to elevate new blood at the top of the X divison. Shelley, Lethal, Aries etc

What type of wrestling fans annoy you?

He looks like varsity QB? If you have a short bulky QB like that, you likely aren't winning alot of games. -

While I agree with you to an certain extent, especially about the people who complain and don't do anything about it (It's not hard to point them to security if they are being legit disruptive). In Cleveland on the 1/28 show, there were 2 well known "fans" who are local and they have only the intention of putting themselfs over and shitting on the wrestlers, the valets and other fans. If you get that show, you'll see the two fat pigs in suits in the front row who hassled (including hateful terms towards Allison Danger and Prince Nana) completely disregarding everyone else who was trying to watch the show... What happened? prior to the main event, they were forced out by a vocal crowd and they couldn't take it anymore and went to the back of the venue in the GA section and remained quiet. That's all it takes to shut up any rude and disruptive fans, not waiting to get to the board and bitching about it and claiming "I'll beat them up if they do it next time". Should fans be allowed to have fun? Taunt the wrestlers and play along with the show? Of course, that is main reason to go to any wrestling show and it's one of the main reasons to attend ROH or any other indy show, is for that close fan-wrestler rapport. There is a line that comes with it though, intentionally shitting on a match or a series of matches or going to unneccesary lengths to get attention and heat, isn't appropriate and can ruin a crowds enjoyment factor. Just because you paid a ticket to attend the show doesn't give you the right to turn yourself into the show. However complaining on a message board doesn't solve anything. I have seen a few ROH fans vocally or physically confront the disruptions, it usually works. -
I would love for volume three of bloodsport to be a 2 disc edition covering ECW's five biggest storylines. Loaded with every important storyline development, highlights of matches (offer the most important matches as bonus extras) and the involved parties covering it.

What is the point by now? Adding that new addition won't do much for it anyways. Time to move on.

Stupid bitches.

I should ask now but Hebner was just a one time thing right? Just to tease montreal...right? Otherwise, I might have problems. He wasn't that good of a referee to begin with but now that he seemingly aged about 20 years and lost way to much weight and that he still uses his traditional loooooooong 3 count style...I don't want to see him back again. Also, how can this be bittersweet for Christian? After spending years as an mid-card act and getting buried despite being insanely over, he is now the face of a major national promotion and is expected to carry the promotion into the next level. How can you be bittersweet about that?

The DVD will likely be loaded with classic promos, skits and beatings from each manager. Why have matches it should be a 3 hour feature about how great Bobby Heenan, Jim Cornette, Jimmy Hart, Percy Pringle, Paul Heyman are. Don't forget The Grand Wizard, Freddie Blassie, Lou Albano, and Mr. Fuji! If there is a God, Slick will be feature too... AND HIS MUSIC VIDEO! Don't care for WWF before Hogan....and I am serious this time. Huh? Blassie was Hogan's manager, Albano was at his peak during the original Hulkamania craze, Fuji came around during Hogan's run as did Slick. Only Wizard proceded Hogan's tenure.
