I don't like idiots such as yourself, does that mean, my morals are only slightly above Hitler's?

That is called ring rust. Not "losing your ability".

Beyond a re-match with Chris Benoit, what else is worth seeing Brock get revenge booked by the WWE? Shouldn't we be wanting to see the real Brock Lesnar? Not the watered down WWEized version? We're waiting to see if there was untapped potential in Lesnar that was rescricted by the WWE and if he returns to WWE, we will always wonder "what if?". WWE isn't a smart business when it comes to putting ego aside of pratical business sense. There's nothing to gain for Brock Lesnar to come back except american exposure and that exposure will be him getting jobbed or treated like a joke.

Because 2 hours of Idol=bigger ratings then one hour of Idol.

Will WWE ever be as great as they were in 2000?
Hawk 34 replied to AmazingRen's topic in The WWE Folder
I say the newly arriving, RVD played a big part in carrying the invasion period alongside Austin and even Heyman. That was an interesting time, in the absence of Triple H and Benoit, Rhyno got pushed as did Tajiri (by making him the best comedy bit on the show). It had things like Stasiak's idiotic actions. The goofy over-the-top antics from Kanyon and DDP, Tazz, (which should have culminated in Tazz choking Austin out in the survivor series match). The work was better... RVD was emerging as a superstar....2001 is really under-looked. Just because the angle was a flop doesn't mean it was a bad year. -
What the fans want and what Triple H wants, aren't the same. Only one, has any say in the matter.

From sites, no. I wouldn't doubt that they go with Rey vs Benoit in an Eddie exploita...er...memorial match of some sort since they don't know what to do with 2 of their top 5 workers. Program with Booker T? Booker and Benoit have been done to death, and I just can't see Rey meshing with Book Maybe they'll have Booker cost Rey the title shot. It would make sense with the Booker/Orton "favor". However, I really expect them to do the Eddie exploitation match between Rey and Benoit. They likely know they have nothing worth a shit, so maybe in hopes of giving something good for the fans, they throw them this bone which allows them to do their Eddie exploitation. Booker T Vs Lashley, wouldn't surprise me. Booker has been made to look like a bitch since winning the title (needing someone to substitute for him every week, shortest time in the rumble) and needing his nagging wife to help him. (Yes, I am aware he's injured and they are playing off it very well). The perception is still the same. Having Lashley, squash Booker doesn't seem unrealistic.

Personally, I have to point at Danielson as one example.

According to Jim? I don't know, I always saw it as a modern version of Roseanne but completely devoid of any quality in comparisson to Roseanne.

Don't forget Jeff Foxworthy Show, According to Jim and Rodney.

Please note the part about Edge/Foley was posted before last night's show, and the Orton/Angle report has been going around since before last week's Smackdown. Basically, this validates my opinion that Meltzer knows what he's talking about most of the time. People, such as me, were predicting Edge/Foley for Mania months in advance. Sometimes things are just obvious, Meltzer was reporting the obvious.

This brings up a point I have been meaning to get to, and I figure this is the best opportunity to do that. I remember after this match occured, and the inital reaction was "Holy Shit! 75 MINUTES!!!" and quickly it turned into a debate about how wrestling matches don't need to go over 60 minutes because anything over that is just wrestlers trying to put themselfs over and use it as a form of self-masturbation. I found it funny because watching the match, there's no sense of that happening at all. What I saw was two good and great workers who performed a very solid match that had a considerably long length. If the match had gone nearly 3 hours as Danielson wanted, I still believe that it wouldn't have the fit the bill for "self-masturbation". A great example of using match time to serve as a masturbation would the infamously shitty HIAC match at Bad Blood 2004 between Triple H and HBK. A match that was purposely booked to go 48 minutes, just to say it went nearly an hour. It should be noted that the night before CM Punk and Samoa Joe completed the first of the two 60 minute draws and had the wrestling world buzzing about it. Triple H often likes to break out the long matches to create the feeling that the match is something special because it's going long. He sees that it was something his heroes of the past did on a consistant basis, so he is more then willing to sacrifice a good story and match that can be packed into a 15-25 minute setting and stretch it out to 40-50 minutes and completely destroy what he was intending to do, that is if he was intending to do anything beyond working a long match for the sake of working a long match.

Don't let silly common sense get in the way of those who wish to cast blame on the angle and call for TNA's demise. This does show that TNA is connecting to the UFC fanbase.

You really think, after months of bitching, that Shawn would allow Hogan to take his spotlight away?
-
It should be noted that they have completely changed the card. Keeping the two title match main events, no other matches has been announced. Danielson Vs Shelley McGuiness Vs Aries are the only booked matches. There's 13 names not including any potential "surprise" person. We could be seeing some sort of gimmick show such as Lethal Lottery, a royal rumble style match (they could easily round it up to 20 people, using a couple other indy workers and students). Looks like Unscripted 2.

Hawk 34 With 335 Your Score 385 Times Played: 445 That's what it says on the main arcade board, It says the high score is 335 yet, below it says my score is 385. Why don't I have that nifty thing under my name either? yet, the scoreboard, the real leader has over 470...

That's the one i was having repeat problems with.

Why is it that i play specific games, reach a certain top 10 placement and suddenly i get a screen that said "score could not be submited" and all the work was lost.

Ok, legend might be stretching it but he's highly regarded amongst that fanbase. I believe I saw that WON or PW reported the reason they split Burchil and Regal was because Regal wasn't going to wrestle much longer.
-
Do you have any fucking clue about the ROH company? Seriously, stop posting about something you have zero clue about. As I explained, ROH is a WRESTLING BASED promotion. William Regal, is considered a legend to the wrestling enthusiasts. The mere thought of Regal, nearing the end of his career to make a stop in ROH to work against his protege? is...HUGE. What is huge to you? Goldberg? No, seriously, get away from any ROH related topics.

OAO 02/06/06 RAW thread - WM22 Tournament Begins
Hawk 34 replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
This was the first Raw, I skipped entirely since 1996. I didn't miss it. Sounds insanely stupid per usual. -
No it wouldn't, the fan's aren't stupid. Many are already calling for a Necro vs Joe match in ROH. Lots of fans are digging the idea of two promotions working together. If there is a CZW show that day then I guess that wouldn't happen, but it will at some point where there is a huge match or matches, probably unannounced. Yes it would. The fans do want Necro Vs Joe or Danielson but it doesn't fit the confines of the angle. The roh fanbase love the storyline of the invaders. To suddenly do CZW Vs ROH, before the double-header is bad move. In the confines of the storyline, it's a swerve to have CZW be a part of this annoucement.
