The John Cena set. The more I think of this, the more it annoys me. What, exactly, has he done since his last DVD that they can even put on a second one? The title win that's already on the Mania DVD? Music from his oh, so successful CD? The family BBQ video? You have to figure they will recycle the matches from the first dvd and add a couple other matches (including the WM match, his match with Benoit, the JBL rematch that got alot of inital praise, the Jericho match). Plug in a couple of his videos as extras, some of his promotional stuff, a trailer for the movie. There's your dvd.

See, I read it was Ki in Joe's place and Joe was the natural replacement. Can I add that I'm getting slightly annoyed with Ki, Homicide, Joe and Dragon getting these dream matches? Daniels, Aries and Strong, I believe deserve these spots. Not to say ROH didn't have a choice and I don't blame then for using Joe and Danielson in these spots because they are the stars of ROH and they do deserve it. Just a personal preference, I'd like to see a littl variety in these things. What compels me is that this is just the first big announcment ROH is promising, so I'm really interested in what else they have planned.

Sadly, I don't see Cornette getting the proper credit on this dvd mainly because of the heat between Cornette and WWE. Albano Freddie Blassie Wizard Heenan Ellering Fuji Cornette Dillon Hart Bearer Heyman (Dangerously) Sunny Debra I will imagine will get covered here for sure. I'm not sure how far back they will go for this because there's people they can use dating back to the 60's and 70's as well.

Reports have said that Regal is nearing his end anyways and would like to sink into an agent postition soon. Considering his standing with the company over the years and friendship with Triple H, I do believe he will have no problem getting a agent role with the company.

It's true, ROH is designed similarly to ECW in regards to booking aroind a concept rather then a set of wrestlers. This and the dedicated fan-base is where the ROH=ECW comparisons stop however. ROH has survived turmoil, departures over the last 3 years because of how they structured the company. Some might argue it won't let them expand much larger but that's not their intention. They WANT to be a niche promotion because it has worked for them and they are making money rather then losing money. Gabe will always make sure to not let his promotion slip from his hands and he learned from Heyman's mistakes and knows to let Cary Silikan handle the business aspects and Gabe handles the booking and writing. As long as they have a solid roster who continues to statisfy the fans, they won't die. Look at the rosters in 2002, 2004 and now 2006 and you can see how ROH (with about 6-8 exceptions) have kept evolving and changing.

Eskimo covered Abyss, whom I believe was a great part of the ROH roster and should have gotten a slightly bigger push, although I wouldn't put him as a consistant main eventer but he could've done more then just six man tags. The problem with Abyss is that he towers almost everyone on the roster, even Joe and basically Abyss had a limited amount of people to work for because the david vs goliath stuff can only go so far. Its a shame because Abyss and Alex Shelley have incredible chemistry together. MCAT, in addition to the dragon gate issue is likely to head to WWE very soon, so that was another issue. It should be noted that Gabe once said if he had MCAT as a regular, he would put the title on him. Problem was, MCAT never could become a regular despite his massive overness with the crowd. It's a shame he never really had his breakthough match with ROH.

WMXII was much worse in match booking and overall match quality. Seriously, Undertaker/Psycho Sid vs Lawrence fucking Taylor/Bam Bam Bigelow? Not much of a contest. Um, what? You might need to brush up on your history. WMXXII was headlined by Shawn/Bret iron-man and even so, WMXI (which held the LT/Bam Bam match) had the better main event. As LT/Bam Bam was still a better match then UT/Sid, also you can easily argue that was just a spectacle main event(which it was) and the real main event was HBK/Diesel which killed WMXIII's main event. WMXIII had it's saving grace in Austin/Bret. WMXIX was a commerical failure but it was a solid show with Angle/Lesnar, Shawn/Jericho and McMahon/Hogan (on the SE scale) all delivering. Right now, it doesn't even appear that WMXXII will have a match to save the show and will go the route of WMXI of having a completely flat show with minimal importance.

I am not surprised to see Piper, Hogan, Austin/McMahon and Cena getting DVD treatment. It's the Pillman DVD, i am surprised and happy to see.

3) is very far-fetched as I can't see Gabe willingly blowing up 3 major announced matches involving Low Ki, just to add fuel to a fire that doesn't require Low Ki "jumping ship". In cases in like this, I usually look towards $ issues but with Low Ki, you make exception and have to point at reason 2. He's known for not jobbing and since his return to ROH in 2004, he has only really put over Jay Lethal (as far as company workers are concerned). In 1 1/2 years, he put one guy over. That tells you alot, even Joe put over more people and you have to consider Joe, ROH's biggest star. Alot of people want to point at Steve Corino and use him as an example of being leaving ROH on their own, and to come back. The difference is, that was a personal issue between Gabe and Corino. As of right now, this appears to be business ($ and jobs). I do think it's bad business to hype 3 major matches involving someone of Low Ki's status(2/11, and 4/22 were centered around Low Ki's involvement) including a major match at their ECW Arena debut on 3/11 and just letting him go. I would have liked to see Low Ki and Gabe agree to honor those shows but Low Ki isn't bound by a contract to do those shows. I do believe Low Ki will return, maybe even by this fall and the rohbots will simply forget it happened and embrace him again. It's ironic, that on the heels of the "BIG ANNOUNCEMENT" that's due tomorrow, ROH lost a mid-west darling in Abyss, a rising popular attraction in MCAT and now they lost 1/3 of their headliners for the 100th show, all in one week. I just find it funny, last week Low Ki was ROH's "savior" and now he left again.

This isn't the first time Low Ki has done this, or even the second time. The word spreading around the roh boards is that Low Ki wouldn't do the job to Strong and that's why he left. I don't think thats the issue at all. Low Ki had 3 major matches on his plate (2/11, 3/11 and 4/22, not to mention wmweekend), it's obviously a money issue. I have a feeling Low Ki tried to ask for more money after he "saved" the day by replacing Joe last weekend on the Ohio shows and Gabe, who is a Heyman disciple, feels that he can make anyone a star in ROH (it's true to an extent) wasn't going to give into Low Ki's demands. Low Ki will be back, as far as we know, bridges werent burned and it's not like ROH hasn't rebuilt the bridges with Ki before.

This is where I'm at in terms of this, exactly what do they expect with Orton Vs Angle? They can't seriously expect this to draw, because Triple H/Cena and McMahon/Shawn isn't going to bring up the numbers either. So what do they intend to do with Mysterio for Mania? He's the #1 babyface on Smackdown, I would imagine they likely place him in this year's MITB match because I don't see them making any effort to give him a meaningful match after they put Orton over him @ NWO. The best solution now, to fix this mess is just turn the world title match into a four way match by adding Orton and Benoit/Henry (whoever Undertaker doesn't wrestle) into the mix, instead. The best thing WWE can do at this point since they won't be able to set up a card strong enough to match the last two WM's... They will have to try to make it similar to the WMXIX design with a work-rate main event (Rey/Angle:Brock/Angle), McMahon vs superstar(McMahon/Shawn: McMahon/Hogan), another smark wet dream (UT/Benoit: Shawn/Jericho), a "dream" match between two legends (Foley/Hogan: Austin/Rock) and the required generic Triple H title program (HHH/Cena: HHH/Booker). Of course WMXIX was a failure that has to be credited to the overpromotion of the least desirable "main event" and the lack of effort on the build for the rest of the card. Right now, WMXXII looks headed for WMXIII level and I don't think we'll see anything reach the quality of WM13's only saving grace.

Nope, not one OT or shutout in SB history. The lowest scoring effort in SB history belongs to Miami, whom scored 3 against the Cowboys @ SBVI. In the history of the superbowl, there's only been 8 games where a team scored only single digits, and not yet has there been a game where both teams scored single digits. Pittsburgh, with 5 SB stints have scored an average of 24 pts, Seattle hasn't been in the sb prior to this year.

I was there for the promos in Dayton and Cleveland, this storyline with CZW was handmade for Cornette. One of the best promos, i saw live anyways and this video was just as good if not better. The whole CZW/ROH angle has been very well done so far.

He is 4-0. (3 of the wins included a ladder), his lone solo victory was a quick victory of Booker T in a epic match over Shampoo.

See thats why I like Daniels, he's smart. He's in an angle where he's facing Joe so instead of screwing up the angle and he dresses up as Curry Man, so he can get on the show and not blow the angle. BRILLIANT! The show was taped long before Joe and Daniels were even in TNA together.

There's zero purpose in doing that. Undertaker, by all accounts will go over Henry or Benoit at Mania. Losing to Undertaker won't wreck either Benoit's or Henry's (dying) career. Also, Kane Vs The Undertaker and Undertaker/TBS is so over-done, even at WrestleMania alone. Not to mention that the match would suck beyond belief, not to mention the build would be insanely horrendous. The Boogeyman has no purpose in taking up ring time for WM. He can be served in a skit during the show and have the same effect.

GOD NO. For over 200 reasons, NO.

ROCK ISNT WORKING A MATCH. Why is this so hard to understand? and if he does, it won't be to share the spotlight with Hogan or work Kane/TBS who he has no interest in working. Hogan is very unlikely to share the spotlight as well, especially with a bigger star then him. There's only two people right now on the roster that Hogan is going to work with that isn't already booked. Foley and Show. Show, because he loves Show and Foley, because it's the only name really worth doing.

Speaking of which, considering how attractive Eddie's oldest daughter is, don't dismiss the idea of Vince trying to use her in that sort of angle, even if she is under-age. Vince: You know, a little plastic surgery never hurts Eddie's daughter: I'm 14. Vince: and?

This isn't the first time Triple H did this. However, unlike the others in the past, he was swifter about it. He let Kane dominate the ratings surge in summer 2003 for a couple of months but ultimately made sure he was knocked back down to the mid-card in a heatless feud with Shane. When he appointed himself back as the focus of the show, ratings dropped yet again, as we all expected.
