Haas is either finishing his indy obligations or just waiting for them to kick-start the WGTT reunion.
-
ABC airs the game this time around. So you be assured that Hasselbeck's sister-in-law will be mentioned a few times in a cross effort to show a hot chick with cause and promote one ABC's popular shows.
-
Not really, it wasn't like the Luger match was going to wear him out so much that he couldn't have another slow plodding match with Bret later in the show.

JBL should walk around after his "match" with Boogeyman, trying to buy spots from the lowly jobbers but no one will give it up until Simon Dean notices this, grabs his bag and offers to sell his spot in the rumble if JBL buys a years worth of his product. JBL is reluctant to do this but he gives in and Simon hands him the card with his #, and JBL looks down and is pissed as Simon does a quick chuckle and runs. We find out that JBL brought the #1 spot.
-
Booker isn't needed for the rumble and he could easily be used in a back-stage skit, Finlay just "debuted", Regal is hardly a smackdown regular anyways. I was kind of surprised that JBL isn't going to be in the rumble because for some reason, i had a feeling he would draw #1 and last a long time in the rumble.

It's all about what the perception is, rather then the reality. This could be an opportunity for the media and the city of Seattle to change that image.
-
I don't see the many possible winners. I see Orton, Rey and Triple H.
-
I figure that Smackdown will round itself out with Kash, Daivari, Crazy, Psicosis and Undertaker. Although it's possible JBL and Boogeyman do double duty. I think Booker T being "injured" (weather its still kayfabe or legit) shouldn't be involved and should have a cameo appearence backstage, or something like him selling his spot to someone. Raw probably rounds off with Helms, Snitsky, Coach (in the semi-annual comedy spot involving announcer) Flair and Venis.

Pittsburgh has the hard working blue collar factory city reputation, while Seattle is noted for being the capital of the technological generation and shitty coffee franchises with whiny yuppies crying about god knows what. That's another angle for the media to use to avoid the game itself.

Albright needs to be brought in as younger version of Chris Benoit. Just a pure ass kicking technical workhorse.
-
Don't forget the countless "Sleepless in..." jokes and Bill Gates references.

Trent Dilfer won a super-bowl. There's no real "You have to be a top tier QB, without any a history of past ineptitude" rule in regards to being a Super Bowl quarterback. You just need a strong overall team and not to force yourself into bad situations.
-
Well, maybe more people will care about them if they win a SB. Meanie. Not really. Does anyone care about Baltimore Ravens any more now then they did before they won the superbowl? No, win or lose, no one cares about the Seahawks.

He's a big samoan wrestler with coolness alongside hot chicks which allows him to pull it off, he isn't a skinny white dork standing in line to meet a wrestler/dance show star or photo op with generic stank model.

Anyone have a feeling that Bettis will suffer the same fate that Roger Clemens did a couple years ago at the all-star game in Houston where he had that horrid first inning and looked like a total loser? The whole Roger comes home after his "retirement" to start in the ASG is almost similar to Bettis playing at home after contemplating retirement in his final game. Not that i'd ever wish it on Bettis.
-
wrong thread.
-
They have been blowing Bettis since the start of the playoffs and Big Ben will have Sean Salisbury on his knees by monday afternoon. Also, someone on the Seahawks will say or do something stupid and make himself a name.

I thought Hogan's current contract stated he has to work 2 matches a year? and how much would Hogan oppose teaming with Cena against Show and Kane?
-
The hype shows start @ 2:30, which occur on ESPN and ABC. So naturally they are promoting that first.
-
Oh, wait i just remembered. How many stupid starbucks, hendrix and bill gates liners will we force-fed because thats the only remotely interesting things about Seattle?
-
I'm not making any predictions until the morning of the game so i can see which team had a player get himself arrested or shot, because that team usually loses.

Feuds That Could Have Happened But Never Did
Hawk 34 replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
They had good stuff on the Eddie road to recovery tour but man considering how much of a mark Punk was for Eddie and Eddie for Punk, these two would've gone all out and that's just promos alone in addition to the work. -
I remember the game but not the hype.
-
I was too young at the time, but what was it like for SB XXX?
-
Maybe he was trying to say "If i never did that stupid shit, they wouldn't have left"? Who knows and why does Meltzer keep having Russo on? and if Russo is past wrestling, why is he even on this show constantly?
