I feel bad for anyone who ordered the ppv now, as they showed the bulk of the match right there. That was a good time eater as it was a longer then usual package. They muted the crowd though.

I have a feeling the first segment will be a throw-away match involving the divas to stretch it out and give to time to finish writing. Edge likely doesn't appear until the 10 spot.

I was there last night and a good 80% of the crowd was against Cena. He was getting booed before the show even started while they were showing previews of the matches. I don't know how it came across on TV, but the crowd was cheering for anyone who touched Cena before people began to get eliminated. Carlito and Masters never been so over in their careers. We were pissed and shocked when Angle went first, surprised at Kane and pretty much gave up when Shawn went out. The rest of the match was dead until Vince came out and Edge's pop when he won the title was pretty damn loud. I felt like I was in a smart mark crowd like MSG or Canada last night. I was going to order the PPV today, but decided to wait for the DVD to come out. How long does it take for them to release the PPV's? Less then a month.

That doesn't fit Edge. Edge's recent character embraces confrontation and to cause trouble, he wouldn't run from Angle. He would simply fuck with his head.

They could also have a constroversy with Raw as well, Cena can be a whiny babyface and proclaim that Edge's contract was no longer valid because it was signed by Bischoff. So the decision is overturned and the title remains on Cena (would give him even more heat) or the title is just vacated.... They have a rematch tonight out of fairness to Edge and there's a screwy finish or a double pin or draw. Next week, they have a rematch again but no winner. Vince or the new GM, announces the title is effectively vacated and Teddy Long arrives during this and because Batista was injured by Mark Henry(whom was subsequently suspended 90 days for his actions), the World title is also vacated as well. Vince announces that the winner of the royal rumble will win his brand's respective title. That would mean you have a star-studded line up ala '92 with 5-7 legit contenders per show (Cena/Edge/TBS/Hunter/Shawn/Kane/Angle for Raw and UT/Orton/Mysterio/JBL/Benoit for Smackdown). for the undercard? You can simply have MnM Vs Mexi-cools, Womans title match, CW title match and perhaps a special "winner gets #30 match between raw and smackdown" determined by random drawing to see who competes in that match. or they can just not create any interest at all. that'll work just as well

I suggested a fatal four way a few weeks ago with Angle/Shawn/Hunter/Cena. Right now, I'd love to just see Angle take his act into a full blown face turn but not lose anything of what his character currently is. I don't think Angle has ever been this over before, the whole "Angle spent months chasing the title and for edge to just take advantage of the situation and beat a battered Edge causes Angle to snap and go after edge" idea is my favorite idea involving edge so far. WWE lost its only major sure-fire money match in Austin-Hogan, so they cant just sit back and throw stuff at the wall.

Haas could very well be returning tonight and with Jay Lethal potentially on the way as Shelton's "brother" or childhood gangster partner. I'm curious to see if MAMA Benjamin starts her own little stable.

I haven't seen the footage yet, but did the edge/cena match occur in the chamber or was it already raised? Okay, so i saw some photos of it since, and it was raised. Why did they bother raising the chamber for a 2 minute match?

This is the exact same situation that TBS walked into that got him that transitional title reign in 2002. This just proves Orton should been in Henry's spot in the first place. At this point, SD has no main event faces besides UT and Mysterio and maybe Benoit if they gave him another top push. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up being Orton/Taker for the title @ Mania. Instead of hot-shotting the title, how about openly admitting that Batista was injured by Henry(it's already on the damn web-site) and declaring the title vacant and have a one night tournament at NWO for the title? A 8 man tournament with the four winners meeting in a 4 way elimination match (to change things up and add more drama to the finals) Benoit over Booker Orton over Hardy Mysterio over Henry Undertaker over JBL Benoit Vs Orton Vs Mysterio Vs UT in the final four with Orton winning the match and the title pinning Mysterio to win the title. This would set up a re-match for Orton/Mysterio at WM and start the UT/Benoit set-up for WM as well.

That'd put Edge over as a major threat and legit champion, a main event program with old man flair. HTQ is right about Cena, essentially Cena has to remain the same old babyface that he is right now. Meaning DO NOT CHANGE HIS CHARACTER. The decision to place the title on Edge was the right move because Cena was bombing as champion and the right move was putting it on Edge.

I don't think there's any perhaps about it. Garrard is probably the only one that could compete for that title. Either could start in a lot of places. If Kitna continues this pace and makes this game (maybe even the rest of the playoffs), Kitna would be a hot commidity in the league. Bengals would be foolish not to consider shopping him for a couple draft picks or updates on the line. However, keeping Kitna is looking like a very smart move by the Bengals, as Craig Krenzel is the #3 QB.

Cincinnati is lucky to have Kitna, who is perhaps the top back-up QB in the NFL. As he is looking sharp right now. Anyone getting a feeling that Cincinnati will just rip apart Pittsburgh now? Palmer's injury might have been the best thing for that team.
