A key factor is that a great majority of wrestlers are aware they couldn't get work as an actor which is why they'd stick to being wrestlers because they can do that. Wrestlers are typically bad actors, Rock was a rarity.

We might be quick to assume Punk is winning the title back at all. Punk and MVP could be headed to the MitB match and if they care to put the ECW title on the show, they can still go Chavo-Kane although it'd be a horrible move on all parts and they have done pretty well at setting up a desirable WM card thus far.

That's a superfluous addition to the show. They'll just do a tag team battle royal for the pre-show. They already have 8 matches set with the probable addition of MVP/Punk or something involving the ECW title. 9 matches is an ideal amount. Sounds more like they are building to a predictable split between Miz and Morrison, which would be a idiotic thing.

CM Punk. Champion vs Champion (if they put the title on Punk at all). This would lead to Chavo getting a spot in MitB in any circumstance since ECW Title isn't presented as a world title anymore. WM needs a solid opener/mid-card wrestling match and Punk-MVP fits the bill. Everything else is either the main events or a spectacle match.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, something along the lines of Punk winning next week, and then Benjamin/Punk for the ECW title at Mania, but Shelton is already in MITB. So not sure whats going to happen for Mania, I really don't think doing Chavo/Punk at Mania is a good idea if they are already doing that next week as well. Since nothing appeared to happen on Smackdown regarding MVP for WM, I’m pushing for a champion Vs champion match between Punk and MVP. Which could leave Chavo for MITB or off the card altogether. There’s a whole month left to build something of substance and they’d have a good mid-card/opener wrestling match that WM lacks right now. Elijah is a really good talent but like all young guys, he still misses a few spots or comes off awkward in transition. To praise Benjamin, you’d have to remember that he was even worse then what Burke displayed last night for awhile when he came into the WWE. Burke has tremendous potential. His matches with Punk last year were more consistent then Punk’s affairs with Morrison and Chavo.

I swear they do that finish for all of Punk's triple threat matches. The crowd was pretty good for this match. I get the sense next week will be the final match rather then WM. The only thing I can imagine working is Punk winning and facing MVP in a champion vs champion match with Chavo getting slotted in the MitB.

I was hoping Burke would be laid out for the rest of the night just so we'd get a one on one match with Punk and Shelton.

Is the documentary better then the Heroes of World Class DVD?

Since the winner faces Chavo next week, you think we'll see some type of draw next week with Punk and Chavo to set up the "Final Battle" at WM in some type of gimmick (E.R or 2/3 falls for instance)?

Punk-Burke-Benjamin should be a good little match. However, Benjamin is in the MitB match, he shouldn't be in a contendership match.

Why were they against bleeding? They are in the wrestling business, it's pretty much a prerequisite. It's not as if it was out of place to bleed.

I could see them having TBS put Mayweather up for the chokeslam and while he taunts, Mayweather lays a quick punch combo to TBS and collapses on the falling TBS.

Should Rey factor in the finish? Will Mayweather accept having the highlight footage showing that he needed help? I don't think his ego would allow it.

Should Rock start his own promotion? He doesn't denounce the business. He'll talk about it and respectfully say his time in the business is over and that acting is his focus. Why doesn't WWE complain about Stacy Keibler? If it werent for WWE, she never would have gotten the gig with DWTS and became a B/C list sitcom/soap actress. It's the same principle. Stacy and Rock got a break thanks to WWE and left to pursue other jobs (though with a obvious degree of status).

Does that have any influence on MCMG's one weekend return to ROH? Suddenly, they don't care about them, so they can work those shows?

Hogan-Austin would still draw a good buyrate, probably not as much as it could have a couple years ago but to argue against it is a bit silly. It'd draw in those who have moved away from pro wrestling but still remember those two names and also wondered how that match would've been.
