    What does it say? WHOOOOOOO!

    ECW 2.19.08

I like the tribute to Flair from Punk on his wrist band.

    ECW 2.19.08

I'm getting the feeling we're looking at an unnecessary heel turn from Punk tonight. That WHOOing segment just put me in that state of expectation.

    ECW 2.19.08

This is one of the things I like about ECW. They have regular complete jobbers like James Curtis.

I do miss the heel partners who hate each other aspect of that duo, though.

Wonder if they kill off Hornswoggle? More likely the "brain damage" will led to the heel turn and the long awaited arrival of Mini Vince. Does Colin have a contract yet? He's a icon to all jobbers.

I'm not sure that'll get over as a catchphase but it's worth an effort.

    ECW 2.19.08

I'm hoping it's just to set up the Benjamin-Punk stuff. If Punk is busy with Benjamin at least for tonight, where does Chavo go from here?

    Punk/Flair Vs Burke/Benjamin? Sounds good.

I prefer when the first couple of weeks are singers choice.

    WWE Folder sucks dick

I'm sure someone at this time last year tried to say no one outside of the business world has heard of Donald Trump.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

Finally clash? Arn and Flair have wrestled before with Arn winning as well. Look, there are only three active people that Flair's last match should be against. Triple H, Sting and Shawn Michaels. No one gets a rub by beating Flair. Shawn and HHH gives him the best chance of going out in a good to great match. We covered Hogan's annual attention ploy in the Comments thread.

Flair gets Shawn. That's not really a question anymore. Hogan will be back soon enough, most likely later this fall.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

Horrible idea. Hogan is the LAST guy Flair should have his final match with. It isn't even a dream match. They have wrestled over 50 times. Hogan's reaching for attention as always. How many different people has Hogan hinted at doing a WM match with? Savage, Khali, Show and now Flair.

WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2008

He should legally change his name if he cares that much about his potential indy earnings.

Mysterio to have surgery, out 4-6 months

Taker and Shawn have been with WWE for 15+years, they earned the trust in McMahon to get main event pushes. Hunter has no distractors. Batista will have McMahon's faith simply for his size. It's Edge keeping his top spot despite more injuries then almost everyone on the roster with the exception of Mysterio that's the real noteworthy example. It's a testament to Edge's ability as the top heel in the company. Otherwise, Edge would be stuck in middle of the pack.

    OAO Raw Thread - February 18, 2008

I would say it's about 60 to 40 or 70 to 30 against right now seriously. It doesn't seem to matter who they face him up against, he gets booed more and more. It's to the point that it looks ridiculous that you have the majority of the people at the show booing him and they still act like he's the most loved guy in the world. He is going to get massively booed between now and wrestlemania in every hhh segment. How is that? Cena openly talks about during his promos about the dissension he draws from the crowd and that's a part of his entire persona. WWE, as in the commentators will often make note of the split crowds and put over how polarizing a character John Cena is.

They don't need any of this, they're having their most succesful run since 2001, what they're doing is working fine. Then why are a lot of your posts complaints about Cena? He's talking in business sense. WWE has no reason to turn Cena. For all the "negative" reactions he gets, he makes a shit ton of money in this position. Obviously, Cena isn't turning people away.

I suggested Kofi in the WM24 thread but I'm not sure they like him that much to put him in that spot. His acrobatic skills will be impressive in a ladder match to say the least.

WWE General Discussion - February 2008

They'll probably stick with the 8 man MitB like last year. It depends on what they do for the ECW Title. If they do Punk-Chavo blowoff, then I expect to see Kennedy-Hardy-Jericho-Umaga-Kane-Benjamin-Shelton-? (could be Burchill, Richards, Noble...). If they put the title back on Punk, I see either Benjamin or Umaga getting a match. Which would leave Chavo to the MitB.

Jericho already pinned JBL twice. Why does he care?

John Cena changed his theme song the week before WMXXI. Does that mean they wanted to direct the heat to the other faces?
  25. That's one of the understated reasons WCW never survived. WCW put all their eggs into the TV basket while WWF knew the importance of the houseshows. From 1995-1999, I probably went to 8 or 10 WWF house shows simply because I knew it would be a fun show where I could get Shawn-Owen in a 25 minute match or a good brawl with Austin and Kane. WCW never had a reputation for good house shows and the PPV's were rarely better then the Nitro that followed it.
