Considering, that Smackdown is out of mid-carders to plug into this match (unless you want Regal and Burchill involved). Carlito/Masters is set up against Kane/TBS for the winning team getting two spots in the MITB match (while there is a logic flaw there, it doesn't matter for WWE). 3MW, return, take out TBS/Kane and Carlito/Masters advance. This sets up 3MW Vs Kane/TBS. Charlie Haas is returning on 3/6 and You'd have to assume he'll get paired up with Benjamin as either his "friend" or to feud with. Put Haas over Venis, and he gets the sixth spot. Flair isn't being taken out of the WM card, he needs a big payday and MITB gives him something.

Matt Morgan, was a complete waste by WWE. Maybe, the worst mis-use.

Foley, still delivers the goods in terms of context but it's uninspired. Foley, once a creative force has become a formula. He showed his true colors by turning down TNA, after spending months praising their talents (Samoa Joe, specifically) and his chance to do something good for the business was in his hands... He sold himself out, to become everything he tries to convince himself that he isn't. I'm sure that Foley, will have something up his sleeve for Mania with Edge because there is a difference in working a nothing match with Carlito on a nothing PPV and WrestleMania. Maybe for a few minutes, we might forget Foley's formulaic and sell-out ways but it'd be a fleeting moment. When the smoke clears, he will still remain unchanged.

The Kenyon Martin Bearcats, are proof that the Conference tournaments are worth-less for the major conferences. It is just another cash opportunity.

Not if they add three from Smackdown. It would be weird NOT to have the token interpromotional Mania match this year... I wouldn't put it pass, WWE to do a quickie TBS/Kane Vs MnM non-title match or just the usual 20 man battle royal on heat.

They should decide "fuck smackdown" and have Carlito demand a another chance and have a tag match with Carlito/Masters over Kane/TBS. 3MW return and take out KANETBS and that puts Carlito/Masters in... Charlie Haas returns that night as well and goes over Goldust to take that sixth spot. RVD/Benjamin/Flair/Carlito/Masters/Haas? Works for me.

As for who actually hosts, the show...It'll probably be Coach. For no real reason. I'd like to see them ask Chris Jericho to have a one night return as the host.

Okay...Heenan and Okerlund were co-anchors for years. They are associated with each other...Heenan always steals the show... Of course, Hulk Hogan had to find his way into the spotlight.
