  1. Noons sure beat the shit out of Edwards. I was expecting a different fight there.

And yes after watching the show again, I think for the first time ever I've slightly understood the mentality of those guys who pay dominatrix's to step on there balls with high-heels. I would let Carano choke the life out of me with a body scissors and die smiling.

  2. You know what else works, being kind and helpful.

I'm not sure "what the fuck are you doing n00b cocksucker!" could ever be more effective than "Hey man this is in the wrong section, please read the forum guidelines, or if you have any questions PM a mod".

I just don't undertstand the immediate anger towards new posters, it's quite gross.

  3. I took that as actually part of Ben and Locke's relationship with eachother. Each trying to make the other believe they knew more or were more important to the island. Neither has a complete understanding of how it all works or what's going on, but they keep trying to make the other believe they do.

To me that's what makes the Ben/Locke interaction, both clueless and yet both seem to "get it" more than anyone else, and there constantly trying to hang that over eachothers head. I think it's based on the idea that Ben feels jealous of Locke's relationship with the island more than anything.

Not to go off on too much of a tanget, but I see it as Ben was with Dharma as a child, found out about the first inhabitants of the island while growing up, realized the importance and did what he could to take control of the Island in someway. At some point the Island itself turned on Ben for some reason(if he wanted to start a new society there, making sure no women can give birth would be a great way to stop that), brought Locke and the plane, and now Ben's just kind of lost, in the future hell bent on revenge and nothing else. That's kind of a broad theory but it's what I've settled on. Locke was meant to be on the Island, Ben wasn't, and he knows he wasn't.

  4. I think actually the entire purpose of that was to lean us toward believing that Hurley's not crazy, it's the Island fucking with him. It seemed like they kind of threw-away the significance of that, but to me it was just to show that Hurley may not be as crazy as we've been lead to believe.

  5. Came on the copter with Charolette and Daniel, see's/talks to dead people.

I'm hoping time-travel doesn't become too much of focal point, any time I've ever had to really think about it all I've gotten is a headache.

  6. I'm not gonna get too offended if dead people come back to life, considering Locke's magic leg's and Milo's "I knew Bruce Willis was dead the whole time" abilities.

And about the time loop, if he's dead and stuck in a loop, how would he know of anything that's happened after his death?

  7. We're well beyond visions at this point, he was holding an actual live baby, talking to actual live people, his dead body is MIA. The guy's about as alive as every other person on that island. I mean are we supposed to completely disregard his every appearance regardless of how it coincides with actual events on the island?

Sure they've been careful not to give us the impression that he's alive, with his strange appearances and only being seen by Milo, Claire, Jack Locke and Hurley, but still, 'dead' just isn't a word that fits with Christian.

And yes, his body could of fell out of the casket. But if that was the case, would it of really been in one peice, closed?

  8. A guy named Angel Torres gets hit in Connecticut and no one helps? I'm sorry but my shock and outrage is currently registering for a green card...

There's a disturbing trend in this country of people not treating hispanics, illegal or otherwise, as equals. And I'm not saying "pay taxes contribute" equal I mean the basic fundamental rights of a human equal. I hope I'm wrong on this one but it seems to be the case here.

Still not as bad as the guy on Long Island who drove off the road about 80 feet to mow down a day laborer and go on with his day.

  9. Comedy will always be copied and re-done and "stolen". It's about as old as prositution and you'll be hard to find a hooker who's doing something that no other hooker is doing or has done. Comedy's not much different.

With that said, Dane Cook has definitely raped CK's act, and with the way he pursues other people who steal his shit, it's pretty hypocritical.

Carlos Mencia however, is not a comedian, and calling him a comedian is even offensive to people like Gallagher and Andrew Dice Clay.

  10. bob_barron is awful. Click hit my daddy-issue bone hard. I loved it.

And the idea of Zohan is starting to grow on me. If I want to see Adam Sandler I want to see him in a movie with an idea as ridiculous as an ex Israeli commando moving to NY to become a hair-stylist. It's not exactly out of the realm of ex-amatuer hockey player becomes a golf pro to save his grandma's house, it's just more ridiculous. And when talking comedy, I prefer ridiculous.
