  1. After catching a few of the prior EXC shows on showtime I gotta say this show is definitely not up to par with there past shows.

That Cung-Le/Shamrock fight was great, does anyone know how long ago that was? Has a re-match ever been discussed? Sorry for being all off topic and such.

  2. Sydal's flying double knee was awesome.

Shelton seemed in an especially brutal mood, if you watch the replay of him throwing Kofi into the steps he pushes his head downward and really just fucking skull tosses him into the steps. I thought for sure that was gonna be Big Show 2. Frame by frame it if you can and pin-point the second it seems like Kofi's head should explode.

Fun show, Punk/Kane was good even when Kane started getting terribly gassed, Morrison seemed to be in whatever mood Shelton was as he was hitting pretty hard last night too. Definitely hurt by the 1 hour format I have to say.

  3. Did anyone else feel like Sawyer did what he did more for Hurley than anyone? I mean you're on a helicopter with all those people and you gotta lose weight, everyone's gonna look at the fat dude. I can see a moment down the line in the show where they make mention of that.

And Vincent is the best character on the show. Never in unneccesary drama, always around when shit get's good, always has good dialogue....

  4. ^I believe on the news report they showed, they mentioned something about it being too deep or something to entirely confirm the amount of people and everyone's identity. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it was along those lines.

  5. I have no problem with the wheel, clearly the Island was inhabited by some kind of very intelligent people way before the Dharma initiative or the Black Rock crew found it. The hyroglyphics we've seen in Ben's little passage-ways, the four toed statue, some uber-advanced yet somewhat stone age people owned the Island before anyone. So personally I'd rather see stuff like that than some sort of overly advanced computer Ben has to hack or something.

Best Episode Ever. It was like 3 scoops of a what-the-fuck sandwich. I don't even wanna guess what's gonna happen in fear of being remotely right. The last few seasons have been easy to map out to an extent, but right now the finale's left me with the fresh sense of complete confusion, and it's awesome.

Oh and come on, people really getting upset about Locke being dead? Like somehow the writers would pick up a crack addiction while doing next season and just skip the entire story of what happens with him and the Others, or the entire backstory of why they wanted him? Locke and Jack, no matter what, have always remained the two central peices to this story. It's their experience that's guiding the show, and usually more so Locke than Jack, so that didn't worry me for a second. If anything it complicated the Locke story, which means more time spent on him next season.

I just can't get over how well they did that. Fucking awesome.

  6. You know with his choice of costume these days it's quite possible the man died a year ago. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

And seriously, how has Jardine not gotten a new contract? The guys not exactly a huge name or some elite top fighter but you'd think he'd be making more than a percentage of what his opponent's making. I mean either he's really hard up for money or him and Dana have some special arrangement where Dana gargles his balls before a fight.

  7. No any book that's blatantly using the murder of a family as a means to sell a book. This is a story that was covered to death and retelling it for the sake of making money is an insult to the families of Chris and Nancy.

Something tells me the cover of this book isn't a large NJPW logo or a picture of Lagana....

  8. "Learning what leads up to a person murdering their family. Trying to paint a new picture of the man."

    1. A lot of horrible shit.

    2. WHY!? What new picture do we need? He was a wrestler who snapped and murdered his family. Is that not a dark enough picture? Not rosy enough?

And yes, what purpose does any book serve. It's that kind of stellar logic that leads to real learning....

  9. You're on a debate team aren't you.

Offer me a purpose for this book? What is a person supposed to gain from it? Learning what leads up to a person murdering there family? Trying to paint a new picture of the man? It's a horribly tragic story and any lesson gained from it should of already been learned. Retelling it with the added bonus of whatever partially confirmed bullshit this guy could find is just beyond useless.

  10. "ALL REPORTERS ARE LEECHERS WHO ARE TRAGEDY PROFITEERS WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH"

Oh this guys a reporter now? Reporting a story is a far cry from writing an entire book based on second hand information and lockerroom stories. What purpose does this book serve?! To make the guy who wrote it money, and very, very little else.

  11. Greg is a joke of a human, I hope they get him to do every challenge show they ever make from here on out.

I thought it was hilarious to see the stripper making out with him in the hottub on a preview for another episode after she was just berating him 4 minutes prior. Oh alcohol and stupidity, like lover's intertwined making eachother more potent.

I hope Will gets kicked out for actually hitting Greg, otherwise that'd be one hell of a waste.

  12. I think it's just a matter of people not knowing how to explain it to there kids.

I never understood the concern, it's sometimes like people are afraid once gay marriage is legalized San Francisco is just gonna explode on the country like a disease. Why concern yourself with how a person lives there life when it has absolutely no affect on your own life? Seems beyond pointless.

  13. ^That's really not bothering me that much. I'm not expecting them to be holy shit moments so they're not really coming across that way. Just the story behind the holy shit moments.

I love how they have the O6 completely split right now. They've got 1 episode to come together and you know it's gonna be ridiculous.

By far, my favorite part of this show is the relationship between Locke and Ben. It's like two kids fighting over a toy, only the toy picks them. They keep trying to establish themselves over eachother, and you can tell they're both partially afraid of eachother. It's probably the most exciting dynamic between two characters I've ever seen on a TV show.
