ok but Michigan lost by 3 to the number 1 team...according to your astute logic...USC had their chance against Oregon State who I doubt is even a top 60 team and lost...and according to your intelligent fact checking...USC played catch up all game to Oregon State and was down a bigger margin than Michigan ever was to OSU...determining the number 2 team this year...you have to weigh...should you vote for the team you WANT to see in the title game...or the team that DESERVES to be in the title game?...if there are more people like you out there (please God no) then I guess we are going to see the 'sexy' matchup and the possibility of a split national title ensues particularly if Notre Dame is in the title game....enjoy Christ, you ARE the Michigan Dama. Did Michigan have a chance to win at the very end of the game and fail on a two point conversion? NO. They got their decks checked in the second quarter and were fortunate enough to get a couple of takeaways to keep it close. At no point in the game did they appear to be a better team, and never lead after the first quarter. Michigan would deserve to be in the title game if they won on Saturday. They didn't. Enjoy the Rose Bowl against West Virginia and try not to be embarassed like Georgia was when they underestimated them last year. Besides, it's become rather obvious that Lloyd Carr can't beat Jim Tressel, so why try again? Just pull your Boomer Sooner, I mean, Big Blue fingers out of your ears and understand that assertions that a team that just lost their final game does not imply that they don't even deserve a cable hookup to watch other teams play in bowls. It means they can't play for the title. It's football, and if they were better, they would have won, period. Yeah, Northwestern had a chance to beat Michigan because they were playing them. In your deluded little (not big) blue world, that's interpreted as some prediction of Wildcat victory. And HOW long ago was it when I said Clemson could end up in the title game? Like, around the time they waxed Georgia Tech and hadn't done their usual Bowden swan dive? Notre Dame is NOT the best team USC will play all year. That would be Ohio State on January 8th. Regular season-wise, USC's most impressive win would be against Cal in my mind, possibly Nebraska if they can win the Big XII. "OH YA CAL WHO LOST TO ARIZONA THEY SUCK BALLZ" Yeah, the same Arizona that's won four straight. Close ball game my ass, Notre Dame's best chance at beating USC was a year ago. Michigan destroyed them for a reason, because beating up on military academies, a team whose coach was axed before the end of the season (oh wait, two), a Pac-10 jobber that was lucky to win a game this season, and a couple of middling Big Ten teams makes a GREAT resume for a "BCS caliber" team. You said it yourself, Michigan beat their asses, at home, and you think that helps their image against USC on the road? And who would REALLY give a flying fuck about a rematch beyond national title interest? Not only is there no competitive reason for one, but there's no want for one. Does anyone else remember the period a year ago where Miami and Florida State played like, three times in one calendar year? It got worse each time and produced uglier and uglier games. I'd wager it did a great deal to fuck with their respective images since you saw one or the other lose three times within a short period. where to start...where to start...ah fuck i'll go backwards....who cares who gives a flying fuck about a rematch?...I know if I wasnt a Michigan fan I would not be too into watching a rematch either BUT...the best teams are the best teams...rest of the paragraph is irrelevant I see...last years ND-USC game...also irrelevant...you happily left out ND beating the top team in the ACC I see....USC hasnt had a game scheduled against OSU yet so thats also irrelevant....arizona winning 4 straight thats also....well you see the pattern here...no northwestern did not have a chance against michigan...and if bowden has an annual swan dive...why even bring it up? lol......the Michigan hate is getting to you...I think you need a hug

King, you have to realize something. It doesn't matter if USC just clinched the title of the best conference in the country. It doesn't matter if USC has beaten 7 bowl eligible teams (and, at the end of the season, will have played 10), including teams that will play for the conference championships of both the Big 12 and the SEC. It doesn't matter if the combined winning percentage of the teams USC has played in 10 games is slightly better than the combined winning percentage of the teams Michigan has played in 12. It doesn't matter if that combined winning percentage can only go up in USC's next two games. It doesn't matter if USC has beaten three teams rated in the BCS top 25, including two in the top 20 and one in the top 6. It doesn't matter if they will play a fourth. It doesn't matter if USC has played the third toughest schedule in the country, and just beat a team who has played the second toughest schedule in the country. Michigan beat Wisconsin, and that's all that matters. And their biggest claim is losing a close game to OSU. Apparently, you don't rate a team based on winning... losing is what matters. Oh, that paragraph up there, there's no Damaramu fanboy in that... that's all calm, clear research. We need to stop throwing that insult around. There are a couple of you whose opinions I've lost all respect for, so I'll just ignore you. I realize that nothing will change your mind beyond USC continuing to win. Lastly, for the predictors... I've always thought a prediction is based on what will probably happen, and not what you want to happen. If you look at the numbers, USC WILL pass Michigan if they win out. That's true whether you like it or not. thats maybe Michigan's biggest claim according to YOU.....but again...watch the game Saturday night...enjoy the game hopefully...then take a look back at what Michigan did to the same team at their place...dh86 believes you will see a distinct difference....and you are saying losing is what matters well lets just say I did not see Michigan lose to a team that may be headed to the Sun Bowl...yeah Michigan had their chance to go undefeated...USC had their chance....ND and Arkansas had their chance and got beat badly at home...Florida went belly up at Auburn...if you match up Michigan vs USC and throw out all the bullshit...its clear who the better team is

wow...between this and your "Northwestern having a chance to beat Michigan" nonsense and "Clemson could be in the national title game" nonsense is making my head hurt...USC will not blow out Notre Dame...ND is the best team SC played this year..when it is a close ball game...just remember Michigan winning by 26 at South Bend alright?

its not looking good DETROIT -- Former Michigan football coach Bo Schembechler collapsed Friday during the taping of a television show and was taken by ambulance to a hospital. The 77-year-old coaching great became ill at WXYZ-TV in Southfield the day before the Ohio State-Michigan showdown, the station said. Schembechler also was hospitalized Oct. 20 after falling ill at the same studio. Messages were left with the university, Schembechler's office and at Providence Hospital, where WXYZ said Schembechler was taken. Schembechler met with the media this week to discuss Saturday's game between the No. 2 Wolverines and No. 1 Ohio State. He discussed the device that was implanted to regulate his heartbeat after he was hospitalized last month. He said the device covered about half his chest, and doctors still were adjusting it. Schembechler said he did not plan to attend the game in Columbus, Ohio, and he doesn't go to road games anymore. Schembechler had a heart attack on the eve of his first Rose Bowl in 1970 and another one in 1987. He has had two quadruple heart bypass operations. The seven-time Big Ten coach of the year had a 194-48-5 record at Michigan from 1969-89. His record in 26 years of coaching was 234-64-8. Copyright 2006 by The Associated Press

that would be kind of goofy...they should just have shawn turn on hhh..denounce being a degenerate, cut his hair and go through an actual character progression.....and he could still challenge cena at mania
-
under no circumstances would that happen...give the pollsters more credit than that
-
ND wouldnt leapfrog a 1 loss Michigan...now a 1 loss Ohio State...thats a possibility...even though theres no chance of us winning at Columbus by 26

I need a good 3 team parlay today

when you say ranked..do you mean a team that was ranked when the game was played or ranked today?

I have been trying that to say over and over...and there is virtually no chance of a blowout next week in Columbus so to me....an undefeated Rutgers or maybe a 1 loss SEC champion could stake a claim maybe....after last night...Arkansas really looks to have a better resume than Florida does particularly with the Razors being undefeated in conference play...USC now has and Cal left but now that Cal game is diluted a little and they are the only team out of the 1 loss teams to have lost to a fringe bowl team...Notre Dame,Wisconsin,Wake Forest,West Virginia I think are all in the same boat in not deserving any consideration....but in any case im confident in a Michigan win in six days...our edge on both lines will be the difference

not starting an argument...I was just asking him/her a question since he/she made reference to me

hows Clemson looking nowadays?

even though I believe Rutgers will lose to WV.....it is really hard for me to view Rutgers as national championship worthy over teams like the teams that are probable to end the season with 1 loss....I probably seem very bias but.....after the Michigan-Ohio State game...the loser of that game should be judged equally on the same scale as the other 1 loss teams.....people may say that "they are in the same conference"..."they played already!!"..."I dont wanna see that game again!!!" but that would be only fair....Florida would make a great case and Auburn could make an even better one but Rutgers in the title game.....that disturbs me

Blaze and Jay have yet to produce a hit track - the production is equally at fault as the lyricist in this case. Let's see - 'Song Cry'? No. 'Girls, Girls Girls'? No. I doubt the title track behind Blaze's production will fare better either (though I mildly like what I heard of it). Maybe he should've started out with the Kanye track with John Legend, or the Neptunes track with Pharrell and Usher to ride out the popularity. They have got to be better than these first two offerings. Girls,Girls,Girls was a pretty decent hit but Jay should retire...his album sucks....my favorite remixes are junior mafia-get money and biggie-one more chance

Wally just got a tech for pumping his fist....fuck David Stern and the NBA at this point

What a defeatist attitude... you're ASSUMING your team is going to lose?? Christ almighty, I never said Michigan was going to lose. I said the loser should not get a chance to play in the national championship. I guess that's a Wolverine for you... assume you're going to lose and start coming up with preemptive excuses (you sound like a politician). First of all, I think Michigan is better than Ohio State. Michigan's schedule has been much more solid (even with their crap OOC opponents). And yes, time of year DOES matter. Ohio State beat the #2 team in the country on the road. Guess what? Texas is NOT "#2 team in the country" material. I'm not saying Michigan should have lost early, I'm saying they shouldn't lose AT ALL. I'm also not saying there isn't a precedent. I'm saying the Ohio State/Michigan game is DIRECTLY followed by the national championship for those two teams. The loser of the game will prove they don't belong there. Let's say Michigan beats Ohio State. Well, if Ohio State wins the BCS rematch, how are they really champs? All it would prove is that both teams are even. Actually I dont think Ohio State or any team can move the ball consistently on Michigan's defense so im not assming at all...it is what you call a hypothetical....its just that you are not making any sense...you are saying a team that lost to Oregon State belongs there whereas a team that dominated all year then loses to the number 1 team wouldnt because they played the number 1 team already....that stupid....and I guess Notre Dame is crap too...thats just delusional
-
what the fuck would make USC,Florida,Tennessee,Arkansas more deserving than Michigan?...discrediting a team because the time of the year they lost is the dumbest crock of shit ive ever heard...Michigan's only loss would be to the current number 1 team on the road.....I guess they would be better off doing the equivalent of what USC did and lose to Indiana and have their loss then...and if its Ohio State the loser...they would have had their only loss to the current number 1...and both teams have been dominant all year against solid competition...and they are the only 2 teams that can say that...from where we stand today...Michigan vs Ohio State is the only game suitable for the national championship no matter the outcome in 17 days...maybe that can change...but I am speaking for today...and its not like there isnt past precedence of a rematch being the championship game...the best 2 teams are the best 2 teams

Mitch Albom or Rob Parker by far
